We ordered a large pizza "build your own" with 1 meat and 5 veggies. The wait person did not point out that the cost would be $7 for meat and $5 per veggie. It turned into a $48 pizza! Their most expensive pizza with 3 meats and 4 veggies is $36. I did not realize this until the bill came. The wait person apologized for not pointing it because she "assumed" we had been there before. We had not. I told her it was a rip-off, and she said she was not allowed to adjust the price, AND there is no management on site, AND many customers have complained ... AND, they don't care. Been eating ANGELINA'S pizza for years. Walking in, it's was clean and a wonderful smell of pizza. DAKOTA 5* server, greeted us with menu and asked what we would like to drink. We ordered 17" Margherita Pizza, small Caesar salad and the Greek Goddess. Both salads were fantastic with homemade croutons and toasted focaccia bread. I enjoyed the ranch pizza here but got tired of it after a couple of slices. It was good, not great. It had too much red onion and I think it would be improved with some fresh tomato. This is the one in Seaside. 2 of us ate one slice and couldn't eat anymore. That's how horrible the crust was. 2 of us didn't even take it with us. The 3rd couldn't see throwing it away but probably won't eat it later. It was worse than any pizza I have ever eaten and I eat frozen pizza all the time. I went to Angelina's Pizzearia craving a nice and warm pizza, but was very disappointed. I am a vegetarian, and I ordered a vegan cheese pizza, which was awful. The cheese tasted and smelled like rubber. It was so bad that I had to take all of the cheese off with a napkin and eat it without any flavor. At that point it was just bread with sauce. Service was alright, we had a lady that was friendly but acted very off and awkward. I did get my pizza pretty quickly, which is nice, but everything else was bad. Well Where do I start.... let's start with the food quality. The pizza was TOP NOTCH. Can absolutely tell it's a house made dough and made by hand. Cooked to perfection with a crispy bottom and soft top. The quality of toppings is a huge one for me. They used good pineapple and even better pepperoni on my pizza. The quality of cheese used was fantastic, certainly not using a cheap cheese like a little Caesar's would use haha. The atmosphere is perfect. You walk in, it looks good, smells good etc. The new owners did great with remodeling. The smell of pizza cooking is probably the most welcoming and familiar smell I can think of. The staff is super friendly and professional. Never had to ask for a refill on my drink. Prices are very reasonable too, which for a pizza place is so important! I will gladly without a doubt be returning OFTEN. read more

Our order was messed up and they thought they were delivering instead of pick up and the pizza selections they offer are just plain weird. Was vacationing in Seaside with the family and for our last meal there we decided on Angelina's since the four yr old tyrant wanted pizza (I WANT PIZZA NOW DADDY!!!!). This establishment markets itself as an Italian eatery. We went with a large half and half pizza, a New Yorker and Angelina's favorite. The New Yorker looked and tasted like one of those supreme pizzas you used to get from Pizza Hut in the 80's (not that sad stuff you get today) growing up. Decidedly not authentic Italian but it was great! Piled with toppings and only two slices completely filled me up. All the ingredients appeared to have come from a can or plastic bag but no big complaints here since they were generous with them. The ambiance was great, the wait staff friendly, however the clientele were heathens.... Not the restaurant's fault but damn people! Control your kids! All in all we will come back next trip. We look forward to visiting Angelina's for our yearly cannon beach trip and once again the food was a 10/10! However - like many of the other reviews of touched on, the service was extremely slow and while we are patient people, our frustration was the lack of communication and urgency with the dinner rush. We walked in and sat down at the bar and were immediately provided menus - yay! However - looking around at all the full tables with folks with no food or drinks I was immediately nervous. Both employees were behind the bar working on drink orders (I believe - unsure) but we spent the next 15 minutes trying to make eye contact to signal that we were ready and it seems as though the other remaining tables were doing the exact same! One guy mentioned he had been waiting for 45 minutes and was asking about his food order because his table was going to just leave and hit up Taco Bell due to being so hungry. This seemed to be a theme - and I think it was due to no acknowledgment of the long waits times by the servers. After 25 minutes and people who arrived after us being served - the lady behind the bar let us know the other person working would take care of us and so we speedily put our order in. Due to the long wait - we only ate our appetizers in the restaurant and took the pizza to go and it held up really well! Overall - I'll still look forward to our annual visit next year but hope for future visits when seated the staff are able to give a heads up like a "just so you know we're in a dinner rush so our kitchen is experiencing XX amount of time delay" or even a simple " thank you for your patience" when we're finally served will go a long ways read more

We had unexpected company for dinner as they stopped by our house unannounced, on their way to the Portland airport to catch a flight a few hours later. I called in a take out order here at 4:30PM on a Friday afternoon with a confirmation from Angelina's to pick up my 2 pizzas and 1 salad curbside at 4:57PM ($85 total) After waiting outside in my car until 5:30, I went inside to inquire about the order and was told 15 more minutes. It appeared they had not even started my prepaid order yet! There is no excuse to be 45 minutes off on preparing a 2 pizza order! This is the last time I call here, pay way too much and get so little in return except being disappointed. Fortunately, there are other options for good pizza in Seaside as the Hawaiian pizza we received was lacking in any flavor or the expensive pineapple toppings. $35 pizzas (16'") should be memorable, not just meh! The nice big brick pizza oven isn't actually heated with fire. It's been permanently altered to be a plain old oven. We felt deceived after we had ordered and realized what was going on. When you walk in just take a peek at the air intake filter in the ceiling above the counter. Should have realized that if they were so relaxed about the customer facing cleanliness that their back kitchen might not be as attentive to cleanliness as expected which led one of our party members to get food poisoning. Throughout the day everyone shared meals except for the sausage pizza we ordered from here. It was the only thing that nobody else shared. Not sure if someone was in a rush or baked outta their mind but ruined the pizza. Rarely can I give a pizza joint a 5-star. Not because they aren't GREAT pizzas, but so often there's just SOMETHING that brings it down a notch...maybe service, maybe the pizza got soggy during delivery...I dunno. Something. We tried Angelina's on a whim after a long day of foraging. I had talked Hubby into spending another night on the road, and we popped into a delightful little inn in Seaside. Because it was so rainy and blustery, and we were tired, we decided not to go out to dinner but order in instead. (we also wanted to watch Thursday Night Football) So, we chose Angelina's! And, boy, we were so glad we did. We ordered the Angelina's Favorite and when it arrived, it was hot, crispy on the crust...SO FREAKING GOOD! We didn't even have to wait too long for it. I wish I had a bigger stomach when something like this comes along. I had a piece and a half...then chowed some more of the toppings that fell off into the box. Then, I had another small bite..but I didn't want to stop. THAT should give you an idea of how good it was. Angelina's isn't "just another pizza place." I really enjoyed this pie on every level. Next time I probably WILL go to the restaurant just so I can be part of the process, but the pizza, along with our stay at the inn with it's cozy little fireplace and dog welcome basket made for a perfect night after a long, but fruitful day in the forests! It's was great dough! But holy smokes the stomach aches my husband got from the dinner we had here, lasted close to two days. I am not lactose intolerant in the slightest and I had a tummy ache too. It truly should have gone "out the door". What we received after 1 1/2 hours was an overcooked 1/2 cheese and 1/2 pepperoni. Caught the delivery guy before he drove off but told it was the only one he had. Could take it back and bring another. Well past dinner and had company so did what we could with what we had.
