Great atmosphere, staff is always spot on and friendly. Beer doesn't get any colder than at WTB&G!

4.5 stars overall!…read more This is the new spot! Hitting their one year anniversary today, I can highly recommend moose and oak! The decor/setup provides a slightly upscale, but still casual, sports bar feel that's family friendly. There are dart boards and various games surrounding the tables but it's all separated appropriately. Tbh this would be a perfect place to watch your sport of choice! The lineup: SOFT SERVE MARGARITA: you read that right & The reason we came here (thanks Instagram!) we got strawberry and it was everything and more I needed it to be. Will be back for this alone. TRUST. although..... I feel like it should've completely filled the glass like it does in the advertisement $9.99 a piece! 100/10 Appetizer: fried pickles spears - YALL. I am soooo picky about fried pickles and these are the best I've had. The pickles were good, crunchy, not overly oily, and stayed together! 12/10 Pickle flatbread: apparently I felt in a pickle escapade mood. Surpringly not over pickly and delicious. I would absolutely get this again. The crust was soft and cheese was melty! 9/10 Fish tacos: average. The chipotle sauce was a bit spicy. Don't know that I would get these again. 5/10 Fries I could skip, not my fave. The street corn was so good, though I wouldn't consider it traditional &! A bit heavy on the red onion, but I enjoyed it! Their sauces were all so good! The prices were fair & I feel like the amount I paid was relative to what I had, so kudos to management for that! Last but certainly not least, Prestyn, our server was great and hilarious. We truly enjoyed her & her jokes! PS - Girl, you and your name are beautiful! The food was semi-slow to come out, but thankfully we weren't in a hurry.

NRF was on a couple. They added a wall with pool tables since it changed owners. Ordered the blueberry lemon drop, it was 9/10 and would have been 10/10 but had no sugar rim... maybe I need to request it? Usually lemon drops come with but I dunno. Also ordered grilled shrimp tacos with cheese only. They came out with only shrimp, waitress brought out a side of cheese when I asked. Three shrimp to a taco, one more would have seemed more appropriate. But they were yummy. Fries were great, some of the best sports bar fries I've had. I enjoyed my food and drink and woke return, even though they still have some kinks to work out.

This place is located in Montgomery technically but is right next to Conroe you can see the lake driving up it was so beautiful. It's a prohibition style speakeasy with the hidden door and the ambiance is so beautiful inside with an amazing bar and just a great vibe. We loved how the waitresses were dressed in dresses from the time it was so classy and fun. And we went on a night they had live music and it was sooo good. Now let's talk about the drinks there were so many choices of cocktails bourbon whiskey you name it. I let the waitress pick mine it was something with pear and it was yummy. We both loved our drinks. My husband loved his old fashion. The food was absolutely delicious we enjoyed the crab toast and lamb lollipop and the Chilean sea bass which were all to die for. Oh and Lavendar creme brûlée for dessert. We met Rob and his wife the owners who are the nicest people and now we can't wait to come back with friends to salsa night. If you're looking for a nice dinner spot with great drinks food and music on certain nights just the best service you have to come try this location you won't be disappointed. It made our anniversary special.

This place is extremely small and intimate, it's basically a home they converted into a premium cocktail bar. We were seated and the shenanigans began, in a good way. We ordered the innovative cocktails that came with lights, camera and action. This isn't a place to come eat, as they have small bites, but you should eat before you come. We definitely enjoyed the experience and the ability to have intimate conversation without all the racket during most happy hrs. Check them out if you're in the area.

The original had this secretive, exclusive vibe that made every visit feel special - bidets and mouthwash in the restrooms, feminine hygiene products thoughtfully provided, and jars of preserved fruits and homemade concoctions lining the shelves. It was quirky, refined, and full of surprises. The new Diversion feels more mainstream. It's still a beautiful space and date night appropriate but it's missing some of that original character. They start you off with hot towels and a "Japanese green tea," which is actually a cup of dashi broth. I did not mind - it was tasty. The glowing menu is still around, though I don't remember the weird green backlight that honestly does not make anyone look attractive. The old Diversion also knocked it out of the park with every single cocktails in terms of creativity, including caviar on the side, beach/sand concepts, bone marrow cocktails, cereal and milk. Every one of their cocktail was a concept. Here, the cocktails are pretty... but normal. I chose the most exciting sounding cocktail on the menu - Operation White Flame. The server came with a card that prompts you to say a secret phrase. I was stoked. A secret room? A secret menu item? Are they lighting my drink on fire? No. The drink comes with a piece of paper clipped to it. The server gives you a lighter, and you light the paper on fire. The end. Unfortunately, our server also couldn't have been less interested. We were excited, inquiring about the menu, chatting about the reopening, trying to engage, but every interaction was flat, curt, and monotonous. Seems like he just wants to go home. Maybe that was his secret mission. Finally, the one dish we ordered - steak tartare - took almost an hour to come out. My friend was done with her drink and was dying waiting for something to eat. Kind of silly since, well... tartare is raw. What are y'all doing back there?

Saw that an old Taco places had people sitting down and eating so we gave it ago. The owner was super friendly and sat us without a reservation. When I say surprised, cheated and floored that we didn't notice the change in restaurants in the year and a half they've been opened! The servers were first off some of the kindest ones. Each of them that came to our table we're awesome. This old lady didn't catch the name to our server, but he deserves extra points for answering all my questions and allowing me to take menus back to the hotel I work at! My hubby and I weren't starving and we decided to share a small plate and one main dish. The Mozzarella Tartine had an excellent taste. N ended to be less charred. A bit difficult to cut into with a butter knife. The Steak Frites my friends was one of our top favorite piece of steak we have had since moving to Texas 26 years ago!! We could cut the meat with our forks. The fries were perfectly seasoned and crisp and that aioli -- I will take a bottle! Restaurant had perfect lighting and truly classy looking decor. This is a place you need to bring your significant other or best friend and enjoy. We were told that their lunch menu basically stays the same, but their dinner and brunch menu change on occasion and last night was obviously their special occasion menu.

What a mistake I waited so long to make! This place did not disappoint. We started with the fondue, and wow... rich, creamy, and served piping hot like molten cheese lava in a proper fondue pot. The toasted French bread cubes were perfectly dunkable, and that cheese has more pull than the President. It's pure cheesy happiness in a pot--seriously, the cure for any bad mood. The beet carpaccio was another standout: beautifully thin slices drizzled with sweet fig balsamic, topped with goat cheese crumbles and fresh microgreens. Even the beet skeptics at our table went back for seconds. Next came the strawberry goat cheese salad, and I'm officially a convert. I used to avoid fruit on salads, but this one changed my mind completely. Sweet strawberries, creamy goat cheese, and crisp greens in perfect balance. I'm already planning my next visit with grilled salmon on top. For mains we shared the chicken paillard--light, bright with lemon, and paired with dreamy whipped mashed potatoes--and the steak frites. The steak was tender and juicy, but let's be honest... those frites stole the show. Fresh-cut, double-fried, perfectly crispy and salty. I could have eaten an endless basket of them. Absolute drool-worthy. We finished the night with sharing a plate of beignets. Warm, fluffy and dusted with powdered sugar. The service was phenomenal, especially for a large group. Our server never missed a beat, and the whole team was warm and attentive. The drink menu is excellent too--great selection of beers, wines, and creative cocktails. The Napoleon was our table favorite by far. Petite Suzette has officially earned a new set of regulars. We'll be back later this week, and I can't wait to try even more. If you're anywhere near Montgomery, do yourself a favor and go in. You won't regret it!
