4.5 stars overall! This is the new spot! Hitting their one year anniversary today, I can highly recommend moose and oak! The decor/setup provides a slightly upscale, but still casual, sports bar feel that's family friendly. There are dart boards and various games surrounding the tables but it's all separated appropriately. Tbh this would be a perfect place to watch your sport of choice! The lineup: SOFT SERVE MARGARITA: you read that right & The reason we came here (thanks Instagram!) we got strawberry and it was everything and more I needed it to be. Will be back for this alone. TRUST. although..... I feel like it should've completely filled the glass like it does in the advertisement $9.99 a piece! 100/10 Appetizer: fried pickles spears - YALL. I am soooo picky about fried pickles and these are the best I've had. The pickles were good, crunchy, not overly oily, and stayed together! 12/10 Pickle flatbread: apparently I felt in a pickle escapade mood. Surpringly not over pickly and delicious. I would absolutely get this again. The crust was soft and cheese was melty! 9/10 Fish tacos: average. The chipotle sauce was a bit spicy. Don't know that I would get these again. 5/10 Fries I could skip, not my fave. The street corn was so good, though I wouldn't consider it traditional &! A bit heavy on the red onion, but I enjoyed it! Their sauces were all so good! The prices were fair & I feel like the amount I paid was relative to what I had, so kudos to management for that! We stopped in with a party of 6! There were the same five tables the whole time we waited and left. Not sure if it's normal to wait 45 minutes for food but it was incredible sloooowww. The food was good. We all enjoyed our meals. Sweet potato fries were a hit! However; our waitress failed to tell us the fries didn't come with the meals before we ordered. Should be transparent about costs for extras. Rude awakening to see our bill.. This place charge for everything extra!!! read more

So many TVs but during Monday night football too many TVs were on news or something totally unrelated to sports which was a little weird. Prefer sports at a sports bar! NRF was on a couple. They added a wall with pool tables since it changed owners. Ordered the blueberry lemon drop, it was 9/10 and would have been 10/10 but had no sugar rim... maybe I need to request it? Usually lemon drops come with but I dunno. Also ordered grilled shrimp tacos with cheese only. They came out with only shrimp, waitress brought out a side of cheese when I asked. Three shrimp to a taco, one more would have seemed more appropriate. But they were yummy. Fries were great, some of the best sports bar fries I've had. If you like, going to bars that have really low quality food, this is the place. Also, if you like going to bars that have six-year-old's running around the place with their parents, this is the best bar to go to. Nothing like going to the bar trying to order drinks with a little kid running around behind you.. it's kind of like Chuck E. Cheese, but more sucky. Also, don't bother trying to use the jukebox. It's turned down so quiet you can't hear it. Basically, if you hate your life and just want to waste time and money come here. read more

This place is cool on the inside. Loved the dart board and pool tables. Service can be really slow if you have a large group. By slow, think of a snail trying to run a marathon. A typical snail, not like the movie Turbo. Food is ok! It's a decent place for larger groups, but be prepared to wait like 50 minutes. read more

We heard about this place thru one of our foodie groups. I read the menu and had to try them. When we got there, I didn't know they were three days into their soft opening. That didn't matter cause they were on the ball. We were there for lunch, so they weren't too busy but had a great atmosphere. I could see it getting loud when busy because it's open and has a tall ceiling, but I don't think that will matter cause it is a bar and restaurant, so it will be expected. We ordered the Blueberry Lemon Drop to share along with our tea and Crispy Deviled Eggs. When she brought it to the table, I could smell the blueberry. It was very good, my wife said she could drink that all day. The Deviled Eggs were good (never had fried and had to try them). Amazingly, they didn't have a strong egg taste cause the crispy coating. It's not a bad thing but different. Before our lunches came to the table, the owner had stopped by to see how things were going and see how we liked our experience so far. For our lunches, my wife ordered the Queso Burger and fries, and I ordered the Corned Beef Burger and onion rings. Both were delicious! The onion rings were huge and tasy, crunchy outside and soft inside. The fries were good, we like the a little crunchier, but definitely not bad. I tried a bite of hers. The bacon was cooked perfectly and thick, the queso tasty and oozing. My Corned Beef burger, I took one bite and said I'd get that again. I was halfway thru this tasty burger and realized they had forgotten the corned beef (remember soft opening). We flagged down the owner and told him. He said he thought it was weird that I ordered it without the corned beef cause he saw it leave the kitchen. He said he would remake it right away. I told him not to do all that just cause it was missing, just bring me some on a plate and I'll add it to what's left. I tell you what, that burger had me ready to come back before. This made it perfect! We can't wait to come back for more of the menu. We have plenty of items picked out already! read more

I rarely leave bad reviews, but this place was a huge disappointment. The moment I walked in, the smell hit me -- stale, sour, and honestly pretty gross. It set the tone for the entire visit. The food was just as bad. Everything tasted off, poorly cooked, and was inedible To make things worse, the service was terrible. Staff seemed uninterested, slow, and borderline rude. It felt like we were inconveniencing them just by being there. I tried to reach out to the manager Edger before leaving this review but he choose to ignore me. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this bar and restaurant to anyone. There are plenty of better places nearby -- save your money and go literally anywhere else. read more

Just ok. Bar food type place. Lots of TVs for games, sports. This place used to be Suburbs; feels very similar food wise; nothing to get overly excited about. Service was so-so; took a while to get food, and took a while to come tell us our beer wasn't available. It's loud and cold inside. But probably a good choice for sports watching! read more

Do not play the slots there. They will steal your money. They e owed me $160 since the first week of December and will not pay. The machines run out of paper and the cash machine doesn't recognize that it didn't give cash. Total rip off. read more

I didn't love moose and oak that much I thought it was ok but the burgers were very salty the deviled eggs were fried and I think they would be better without, also I went on my birthday and they didn't give me anything even when we asked if we get like a dessert or anything so not a good experience that's why it was rated so low. read more

Awesome elevated sports bar with 43 (I think?!?) tv screens, darts and two nice pool tables. My wife and I were in Conroe and were looking for a place to play pool that wasn't a total dive bar. We have Moose & Oak a try and came back three nights in a row. Great venue. Great coverage of sports events, good food and nice beverage/wine/cocktails. Any thing we asked, they were quick and gracious to accommodate. The only challenge I would offer them is to be mindful of their staffing. 2 of the 3 nights, we waited 15+ minutes for service in the game area. Outside of that little hiccup, it is a truly spectacular place to be, eat, and drink. read more

1st time going sense they replaced Suburbs. The menu is very close to Suburbs. I went with anticipation of having the Ruben burger as seen on the menu picture. No more Ruben burger on the menu when you get there. Waitress said they took it off because no one asked for it I asked if they could still make it and they said no. So they can't add corn beef and sauerkraut and 1000 island to a burger to please a customer. It's not they don't have the ingredients as they do Ruben sandwich's. I think they also adopted some of Suburbs bad habits everything was served cold especially the fries and onion rings. My fish in the fish sandwich was just barely warm. It reminded me of a greasy spoon where everything is precooked and sitting in warming trays waiting for someone to order.We also noticed the lack of customers, it was lunch time when we came in there was only one other table of 4 people and one person at the bar. We have been anticipating this place to open so you can imagine how upsetting it was being so disappointed by the food and service. We sat at the be for dinner and drinks and were immediate asked for our card to start a tab. We ordered cheese sticks that came out cold, had to ask for silverware and plates as the bartender kept walking off before we could ask for all the things you would think would be brought to us. We ordered the Rueben to split. There was no sauce on it, it was so dry. French fries came out cold as well. I hate to at it but there I nothing special about this place. For an appetizer and a sandwich and two drinks our bill was $60. read more
