    Sunday roast
    Florence K.

Came for a Sunday roast right before heading to the airport. Their Sunday roast is typically available at 2:30pm but I explained my situation and they were able to serve the full Sunday roast by 11:30am, which we really appreciated! I got the mixed plate, which included pork, beef, and chicken. Overall, I'm glad I tried the Sunday roast. The gravy and potatoes complimented the dish well but was not a fan of the vegetables because it was a bitter and the pork was a little bit dry.

Friendly servers is what you will first incur on a visit to this pub. I really enjoyed my espresso martini! We ordered the grill prawns and the Smithfield. There was plenty of food for two. We topped it off with the creamy deliciousness of the Mango Cheesecake. I really felt like I got to visit an English pub. Cozy and clean.

Stopped by for Sunday Gravy after an overnight stop in London. British pub food is a novelty to me and this was quite enjoyable. Fish and chips of this quality is hard to find in the States. The Vegetarian Wellington was outstanding. Great staff was very helpful and went out of the way to step through the specials. Customers were mostly local -- so you know the food is not specially for tourists. Looking forward to stopping by again!

We ate here the night before we flew back to the States after our epic trip around the UK. We loved the pub food and the atmosphere was phenomenal. The hard cider, the meals and our time to relax and decompress here made it great. They have a nice area of outdoor seating.

Like another reviewer had indicated, we had intended to go to another highly rated pub nearby, but they had an 18+ age requirement. So we stumbled upon the White Hart. No regrets as the food was delicious and the service was superb! Our party of 8 ordered everything from fish and chips to ribs to my personal favorite, chicken and leek pie. This was our last dinner in London and it did not disappoint!

We were just out for a walk and came across this very quaint pub. The food was great, and the service was excellent!

Didn't have their food, but the bartender is super nice and knows how to pour a proper pint. Very knowledgeable about cask beers as well and showed me how they finish out the last 20% of the fermentation process. He even gave me a glass pint to keep after talking with him for a little bit. You can't buy love like that.

Mixed combo with chicken, pork and beef with Yorkshire pudding

Huge fish and chips for me while DW had chicken, pork and beef combo with Yorkshire pudding. Tasty, delicious food also a huge portion. If you're traveling from Heathrow, definitely worth the trip, a quick 10 minute Uber away.

Great local pub that serves up some cold tasty beer and delicious fare. They have traditional food such as fish and chips, which are quite tasty, but they also have some other options on the menu that are nonstandard fare for pubs (eg, the salt-and-pepper squid, which is also very tasty). Love the ambiance and the decor. Plenty of parking spaces. Great for a low-key hangout with family or friends. They accept contactless payments, which is so handy and quick! Only point of feedback is that the service was a bit lacking/inattentive. If they can improve that, this place would get 5 stars from me. Would definitely go back!

Went for Sunday roast and wasn't disappointed! Also highly recommend the baked Camembert!

Anybody decent would apologize profusely for the UNSAFE conditions and not attempt to charge me (It was so unsettling and unsafe that I had to leave at 1:30 am and walk half a mile down the road to the Doubletree.) The service was ok, the host was great and explained that you order food up front after you decide from menus and drinks from the bar. It may seem awkward but is actually makes for a quick exit. The real disappointment was the food. We started with the calamari. That was pretty decent. The fry was similar to mozzarella sticks, the portions are huge so easily shareable. I ordered the 18 oz t-bone (medium rare), chips and cesar salad. Plenty of chips, they were longer hot and little soggy by the time they got out. The steak was the real disappointment. The cook was rare bordering on blue with very little seasoning. Additionally there was no sear on the steak and it was real tough. The fibers were present through the meat and it was poorly trimmed resulting in almost a fourth of it being inedible. The cesar dressing was real mayo forward. The atmosphere was great with plenty of folks and you could tell weekends are fun. This may have been an off meal but my food on this trip was not representative of the reviews.
