(They even offered to make a smaller portion for my partner and charged half price (even though we offered to pay full amount.. Now, that's courtesy!) (Then, again....our tastes and syrup formulas might have changed over time.) Nonetheless it was delightful. Sandwiches were pretty standard and tasty. A notable "plus" was my Tuesday Special...The "Jezebel". It was a nicely grilled chicken breast on toast with special "Temptation of Jezebel Sauce...a delicious combination of tropical pineapples, sweet apples, cracked black pepper and a little horseradish for a hint of "bite." (Captain Rodney's is a Tennessee-based company located in Bell Buckle....nice!) plus grilled mushrooms, onion and cream cheese. Yes, I'd order again. My Chocolate shake had me doing a bit of a double take. Creamy and smooth to start; too thick to suck through a straw, BIG up front chocolate flavor...but, something seemed not quite what I had anticipated. The creaminess was a bit different from the old stand mixer style - although it was made in that kind of machine. And, the ice cream was almost like eating soft serve. BUT...this was a delightful, delectable, treat and worth a repeat. (For the record I was told they use Mayfair ice cream and milkshake mix. Good stuff.) This truck is parked in Madison, not Nashville. If you're looking for it and can't find it, you might be looking in the wrong city. 3.) The meats/tastes/appearances were indistinguishable. That's a problem. Beef, chicken and pork come from different animals. They should taste and look different. 4.) The pricing is inconsistent, varying from person to person. 5.) Seeing as though the meats were indistinguishable and the pricing varied from me to the other people in line, I should have known better than to eat the food. I did not know better. I learned that Saturday in mid-summer. I had almost immediate stomach issues that lasted the weekend. 6.) To top off the above, the tortillas tore. Seeing as how the other reviews are years old (and, to be fair, so is this experience... but it's more recent than the others), I have to imagine that this trucks' heyday is in the past... or I got the 'special' treatment. In any event, there's no need to travel to Madison for this experience. Had I paid attention to the zip code and not the street address, I wouldn't have either.
