I came to Mami Panchi Grill specifically for one thing, pupusas. I am a huge fan of pupusas and this place did not disappoint. The pupusas were nice sized and were around three dollars each. It is a small restaurant, but it has a pleasant enough ambiance. My server was extremely friendly and professional. I went with three pupusas, two mixed and one steak and cheese. When my plate was brought, the pupusas looked great. They also tasted great. The cabbage was okay, but nothing special or great. Maybe even mediocre, but the pupusas were very good. Parking wasa bit limited in the front, but they had additional parking in the rear. I would definitely recommend Mami Panchi Gtill if you are in the Springfield, Tennessee area. I will give Mami Panchi Grill five stars. read more

When I'm away from home I always like to try something new, and usually something Hispanic. This time it was Mami Panchi, I had papusas which is basically an el Salvadoran pancake with cheese and meat on the inside. I had the lengua (beef tongue) the chicharron (pork skin) and the chorizo (sausage) all were very good and very filling. I didn't need 3 for sure. The chorizo was by far my favorite and I will def have it again sometime. I walked in and it was pretty slow for a lunch time. I walked right up and ordered at the counter. The girl was very nice and helpful and my food was out in about 10 minutes. I definitely recommend you try this spot out if you are in the Springfield area. read more

FANTASTIC little faith based Latin restaurant that made me reminisce for my time in Brasil. Yes, I spell the country's name as they do down there as I lived in country for almost a year. We had what I would assume was fresh juice to drink. I had pineapple and my wife had mango. We both enjoyed it! The food was ALL homemade from the tortillas to the refried beans, and yellow rice. My eggs came out perfect! My wife had eggs over easy, with bacon, homemade toasted bread, hash browns, and fresh red tomatoes. She really enjoyed her meal as well. They also had what appeared to be homemade Tres Leches (3 Milks) cake for dessert. It looked delicious but we were stuffed! We love that they had a love for Jesus in there! The service was quick and efficient. Restaurant was clean from out front, the dining area and the restroom. Really food quality for the money! We will definitely recommend to family, friends and will return for a dinner to try that out. read more

We loved that this restaurant didn't serve the standard "Mexican" fast food standards. All the menu items seemed to be original renditions of many different Latin American delicacies. The food was prepared well with fine ingredients arrived at our tables hot and was well plated. The Papusas were great, as were the black beans, and the kids menu was great. The only area where they didn't really excel in was beverages. They had almost no sodas, no sweet tea (they are in the south), only 1 diet beverage in the place. The staff was friendly and the environment was very appealing. They need a sign out front so more people would know they are there. Definitely will be coming back. read more

This is a new business, just opened up this last Friday. Their claim to fame is "Central American & Mexican restaurant" which means, among other things, PAPUSAS! YES! Also they are open for breakfast. The restaurant is small but homey. Tables or booths are available. From the placards on the wall this is a Christian business and it shows in the attitudes of the owners and servers as they accommodate you as their guests. The menu is in Spanish with English descriptions for those that aren't fluent in their spanish yet :-) Prices are very reasonable - example: my wife and I EACH had 2 bean and cheese papusas and 1 jalapeño and cheese papusa with a diet Coke and our tab only came to $17.01 - very reasonable. Any problems? I had to give them a mild suggestion that they serve a knife with their plate of papusas to make it easier to cut them other than with just a fork. They DO take credit cards unlike some mexican/central american restaurants, which is a blessing. I think this place will be very successful from what we see so far. We will return. read more

Quite possibly my favorite place to eat lunch in Springfield based purely on food, friendly service and value for the money. I almost always order pupusas, which are always thick, crispy and almost bursting with fillings. I also love their tacos, which are loaded with meats that are marinated to perfection. Absolutely delicious. The only things that I don't like about Mami Panchi's is that they often play music so loud that it makes conversation difficult. Also, there are a couple of televisions on which they play Netflix movies, and the movies have occasionally been unsuitable for a family environment. If not for those two things, I would give five stars. read more

Worst Mexican food by far! everything I had was bland and not good at all. Highly don't recommend. Best thing Was the Mango Fresca drink, and the guacamole. The beans were nasty, they serve yellow rice, and the rice is bland, it's eatable but if you actually like hispanic food DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!
