Wow! Such a fun time. Started with a mimosa while we waited for our table. Chairs and benches out front to sit and wait. Awesome coffee options to go with breakfast. Everything was delicious! Our server was so nice and funny. All of the servers were joking sound with each other. I love that! Such a good vibe. Our server let us know they homemake their baked goods. Cute and cozy cafe located in downtown Dunedin. First time here and really enjoyed the ambiance and service. The cafe is inside an old house with a nice patio with plenty of seating. They had a little wait but we were able to enjoy a bellini on the patio while waiting. I ordered the bacado omelette with sourdough. Nice taste. My friends ordered the quiche and a skillet and both enjoyed. To drink I had the coconut mocha iced latte. It was so delicious. Its definitely a laid back place. Id definitely come back read more

Cane for lunch at 1pm on a Sunday. I asked for a chicken salad sandwich, they brought out a grilled chicken sandwich instead. They forgot about the latte and Coca Cola that we ordered at the beginning. Service was a bit slow aside from that. Visiting from out of town makes this place a hard stop because I want one near me now! The house the cafe sits in is gorgeous and the staff is so welcoming and helpful. It is pet friendly and has a variety of indoor and outdoor seating options with a healthy menu of deliciously paired creations! I had the cantaloupe stuffed with chicken salad perfectly balanced with shredded chicken celery and mayo , sweet potato home fries with a gentle kick of spices ,a butterscotch muffin full of flavor that melts in your mouth served fresh and warm with a tulsi mango peach tea . Every bite was savored and I can't wait to return and try more things my next visit to the area!!!The owner was involved in Hallmark movies production and they sell some merch . Great little place tucked away in Dunedin. Service was great and the atmosphere was casual. They do let you know which "Hallmark" movies were shot there so if you like that sort of thing then look up the movies and watch them. The food was reasonable and tasty. My family and I got the wild Cobb salad (with the unique shrimp and crab medley), roasted beet salad, chicken salad stuffed cantaloupe, and Dunedin chicken sandwich. Loved the wild Cobb salad even though the shredded cheddar was an interesting and atypical choice. My sister is obsessed with the chicken salad in a half of cantaloupe. It comes with macaroni salad and either a blueberry muffin or peanut butter chocolate chip muffin. The Dunedin chicken sandwich was delicious, especially with the chili aioli, but was relatively small in size. It comes with a side - you can pick up from items like a quinoa salad or home fries. Visiting from out of town and daughter took us here. What a fun place for a relaxing breakfast, brunch or lunch. We sat on the outside patio which is in a garden like setting. Birds chirping flowering plants everywhere. Friendly service and delicious food. Had the guacamole toast with a poached with a pot of tea, and husband had the Hash and a cold brew. The bacon and avocado omelet was amazing. I had a piece of avocado in every bite. The biscuit was also very flaky and had layers to it which I really enjoyed. This restaurant has the cutest atmosphere. I love being able to sit outside. I noticed some toys in the back corner of the courtyard area so it would be a nice place to bring your kids and have a play date. The service was very good and the food came out very hot and quick. I came here for breakfast with my parents and was hopeful since I've always wanted to try this place and I ordered French toast. The first piece of French toast was fine but when I got to the middle of the second one the entire inside was covered and oozing in cold raw egg not cooked at all and I accidentally consumed some before realizing. The waitress was really nice the whole time, but when she took my plate she immediately realized it was raw. She told me I should've told her and I said "no it's okay" which is my fault because I should have said something, but I didn't want to cause an issue for them. The conversation ended at that, no compensation was offered, they kept it on our bill, we paid and left. Unfortunately we will not be returning here and it was not worth what we paid at all. read more

Was here once before when visiting Dunedin and thought it was fairly good. This time we were highly disappointed. Place opened at 8:00 we were there at 8:15 with only two other tables. Place is still really cute, but food lacked. We order a brisket hash, over easy eggs. The eggs were over hard like they had already been pre-cooked and waiting for an order, potatoes cold. I ordered the egg sandwich over medium with bacon on the side. Potatoes again cold but flavorful, egg over hard, and bacon on the sandwich barely cooked and not on the side. Waitress never checked on us until the end to even say anything. Do not think we will be returning anytime food should be hot and fresh in a place like this but especially when you are the first people in the place. read more

Been here maybe 4 times when visiting Dunedin. Cool little breakfast spot. Mostly outdoor seating which is ideal as a dog owner. Staff had always been friendly and the food has always been good. Try their crepes. Something not a lot of menus offer. read more

Came for a coffee in the morning. Got an iced vanilla latte and iced coconut latte. Service is great-friendly people and coffee came quick. I will say while the coffee had a nice flavor, the syrups were super sweet. Would go back but would definitely ask for less flavoring. It's like visiting an old friends old house, and sitting at the kids table with the different colored cafeteria-style dish ware. Friendly staff! Also, yummy breakfast and brunch options plus some adult beverages. My group (with mixed food allergies) enjoyed eggs and brisket with drinks. Wild Iris has gluten-free bread for toast. Everything tasted homemade. Our visit lasted way past closing time due to a downpour that staff generously let us watch from the cozy inside. Twice we've visited Dunedin, and twice we've had breakfast here. The Wild Iris is a cafe with both indoor and outdoor dining, and we always choose to eat outside. It's a very pleasant breakfast that affords a view of downtown Dunedin waking up for the day. Their staff are friendly and prompt, and it's all around a great choice for a good meal. From the description I thought it would be full of veggies but I didn't find any carrots and if there was kale or cucumbers they were chopped so fine I didn't see any and there were only a few slivers of tomato. This was my first visit. It's very quaint, lots of outdoor seating. Tried one of their herbal blend teas was very flavorful. The service was okay. The food was nicely presented. I had to add a little salt and pepper to my sweet potato bites. I had the chicken salad in a cantaloupe. It wasn't amazing but good. My main disappointment was that it comes with a muffin but my didn't have one. I asked and she said they ran out but could bring me a cookie instead. I was like okay but then they "found" a blueberry one. But as I left I saw like eight of them in a display. ‍ The muffin was homemade and that was delicious. My mom had what they called a skillet. She didn't realize it didn't come with bread but overall enjoyed. read more

We came, we tried, we failed, we left. Rustic place, busy. After 40 minutes all we had was 2 coffees and a juice. People after us served before us.. not so great. A real shame as this place was right next to where we were staying and we really wanted a nice breakfast. The young ladies who work there are very nice but need a customer service refresher course as they had no problem charging us the $10 for coffee and juice which obviously should have been comped.
