We were walking around the farmers market and wanted to check out this place. They have the menu posted outside the gate and I immediately noticed they had green tea! Of course I had to go in and get me an iced tea. When we walked up, they immediately greeted us and asked if we needed a table. I said I was wanting a tea so she walked me over to the shelf where they had their tea selection. I chose the tropical tea which was a black tea but very very good. She allowed me to sneak the tea in the container before selecting which was nice! Immediately upon smelling this wonderful tea I just had to have some ! It has great flavor even without any added sweetener. They serve Davidson tea and because it was so good I went home and ordered some so I could have it on hand and brew myself! Next time I'm in Dunedin I'm definitely going to have to try dining her also. Staff is very welcoming! read more

Our experience here was for breakfast. A nice quaint little place that appears to be mainly outdoor seating in a relaxing, peaceful environment. The menu is a bit lean, but certainly enough items to pick from. The wait staff is very friendly and able to provide guidance on the menu if you are not sure. The food came out in good timing, accurate and well presented. Best of all, the food was "really" good too! Another good item is their location. They are just steps away from where Dunedin holds a number of their markets and entertainment. So you can come here early for breakfast and then enjoy the market. read more

I am always weary of virtue signaling signs in restaurants that claim to welcome everyone. 99 percent of the time they are the most bigoted. You will not be disappointed at Wild Iris. As far as the food is concerned the omlet portion was good, the advertised toast was 1 slice cut in half and the potatoes were undercooked and very small . I loved the vibrant energy of this restaurant especially the outside seating. It was dog friendly and welcoming. The service was quick and friendly. We didn't have to wait for a table. It's first come first serve and they have an abundance of tables available. The person I met for brunch with had the carmel iced coffee which was delicious and the right type of cold on this hot Sunday in Florida. She also had the raspberry iced tea and liked the taste of it as well. She ordered the french toast and said she enjoyed it. I ordered the meat skillet and it hit the spot. Loved having brunch here outside under the oaks with our pup! The staff was super friendly and food was great. I ordered the veggie quiche and the flavor and portion were outstanding! It comes with a choice of side AND a freshly baked muffin. You should order this but also don't because I don't want them selling out by the time I get there. I'm a late riser! My husband got the skillet breakfast and due to the severity of his dairy allergy, they were able to cook his food separately on a pan instead of the buttered griddle. So thankful they could make this exception! I got the speciality coffee with mocha and coconut flavoring but I think I'd skip it next time for something more simple. The prices are a little high and the wait is a little long, but they are in a prime location in downtown Dunedin so I would say it's worth it. read more

It feels like you just walked into a Nancy Meyers film! Quirky, cozy, friendly, beachy. The wait staff are friendly and attentive. My coffee cup was never empty. The menu isn't huge but everything I've had has always been consistently delicious! There is a massive tree in the restaurant courtyard that has so many stories to tell! I like sitting on the porch but you can't go wrong- it's all quintessential beach town vibes. I finished my Nova Lox Benedict before I realized I hadn't taken pictures. I didn't take a picture afterwards because who wants to see a spotlessly clean empty plate. It was delicious. My wife had a typical eggs, bacon, potatoes breakfast which she too ate up happily. The lattes... straight hot latte here is a good hot latte. Many such diners say they do lattes and it tastes like they used brewed coffee or the same grounds they use for brewed coffee. Not here! This can be a one stop diner where you happily eat and drink your lattes, rather than getting a latte separately a block away. We enjoyed the Coconut Mocha Lattes. I don't really like flavored syrups, but this was a good combo anyway. I'll get the straight latte next time, but we liked this one. The cafe was homey in an old house and felt like home. The service was with a smile. Dana waited on us with a great attitude and made good recommendations. We especially loved her tshirt. We're getting one for our daughter if we can find it somewhere. This was my experience. I'm sure it is nice otherwise, for the reviews I see on here, for the people who were eating and waiting to eat. We waited close to an hour, after being told a 40 minute wait, to be sat at a table off to the side, in a sandy, dirty area. Sam's club folding table. No cute patio table. No cute umbrella. "Forgotten service area". We observed the patrons at that table before us, not get any checkins, except to get the extra chairs taken away for use at other tables. My wife thinks they got drinks after the food...?!? Idk... After waiting as long as we did, we did not even sit 5 minutes before deciding not to wait any longer. In my opinion, since I waited long enough to try it, the experience and the food, please, make me feel like I am welcomed as a valued patron, not as an extra dollar. I understand the necessity of an overflow area, if it's busy, but it was one table. I'd have waited for regular table on the patio. Maybe next time... Sorry for the negative review, but we wasted an hour for nothing. read more

quinoa salad was listed as providing protein, yes, there were a few specs of goat cheese, but hardly any quinoa, mostly greens. Certainly not a protein grain salad! Also very bland. No taste. No seasonings at all. Maybe their main chef was off today? I came home hungry and ate another whole meal. My friends portions were also very small. I wouldn't be surprised if they're using a scale and weighing but it was nice sitting outside in the shade. I understand coffee and breakfast are much better here! Cute cafe in Dunedin that I can't believe we haven't been to before! I got the iced mocha for my drink and my husband got the cold brew. For breakfast, I ordered their veggie quiche of the day which was HUGE and delicious. It also came with a muffin and your choice of side. I got grits as my side, but they weren't the slow grits I'm fond of. My husband really enjoyed his bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on a brioche bun with a side of home fries. Great service from the hosts to the servers. The eggs Benedict were delicious and the outside patio area made for a perfect breakfast!

It's a fun, casual vibe and very good food. We sat inside, and there is outdoor seating on the porch and scattered around the property. My wife got the Power Quinoa Salad with Turkey, and I got the Turkey Melt with Macaroni Salad. Our food came out quickly and was fresh and tasty. There is a small cooler with a selection of beer, and they have a variety of teas as well. Overall a very nice lunch and good service. read more
