You pay a lot of money, and you take nature walks, eat raw foods, and go to bed early. Again, not a bad thing per se, but quite a lot for the money. we didn't do the spa/resort package, we just rented the condo. Every time we had an issue, the proprietor would say "you are not part of the resort, you rented the condo". As if it's a distinction with a difference. Really annoying service, but they are committed to what they want to be, which would explain why there were only 4 cars in the lot during Memorial Day weekend. Beautiful place. Phoenicia is cool. Woodstock is cool. But if you book here, don't ever think you're booking at a normal hotel. It's not. It's a beautiful place with beautiful scenery, but the service is next to zero, and it's basically a rehab facility. If you're looking for a fun time in the Catskills, this ain't it.
