Closed in 2023. Now a coffee shop, gallery, and live music venue. Plus alterations. And plant based inks made by the owners.

The quality is good. You place your order as soon as you enter. We were unsure as to how it worked so went to look at the salad bar. It was ok nothing spectacular. They also had soup. All food in this area is weighed and you pay by the ounce. Reminded me of a hospital cafeteria except it was more expensive. I was never sure how much per ounce. A friend had the chicken salad sandwich which was on the most wonderful croissant. Chicken salad is very thickly applied. It was good not over the top but good also we split a coconut cream pie. It was on the heavy side a lot of coconut and not much pudding. I like my coconut cream nice and fluffy. . For a very small salad and the chicken sandwich, it was 39. Dollars a bit much.

Then the worker came over to check how our food was and if we needed anything else. Highly recommend the BLT or the BBQ Grilled Cheese. If you do the meal, get the parmesan ranch style chips. The portions were great! The interior has a small store and a dining area beside the salad bar. The restroom is small but has a baby changing area if needed.

When we entered, we were told to sit anywhere. We passed several un-bussed and dirty tables before finding a spot in the back. In general, the place could use a good cleaning and a facelift. They seemed to be understaffed with one server running around. Our service was good with glasses full, orders taken and a covered milk cup for my granddaughter. Food came out relatively quickly. They serve breakfast and lunch. The menu is broad with lots of tempting options. My husband had the patty melt, which he loved. The burger was juicy. The fries were ok. My granddaughter had the kid's chicken tenders with fries. The chicken was battered and delicious. Her meal came with a large glass of milk. It was a winner. I had the BLT. There was a generous portion of bacon on the sandwich, but some of the bacon was undercooked. I ended up pulling out the undercooked bacon. I should have said something, but I didn't want to make a fuss. There's plenty of parking.

The restaurant is small and homey. Our server was very friendly and attentive even though she was quite busy! She checked in on us several times while enjoying our food. We ordered coffees while reviewing the menu and decided on the 2 egg basket (2 eggs of choice, toast, choice of meat and hash browns) and the haystack. Our food came out quickly and was hot. This is the perfect breakfast spot, I am looking forward to stopping in for lunch sometime!

Kelley was fantastic, sharing her knowledge of sustainable beekeeping and the care that goes into producing pure, organic honey straight from the hive. The farm gift shop was stocked with incredible raw, unprocessed honey, honeycomb, and beeswax products--we left with plenty! We're so excited to come back this summer for the Honey House Tour, Beehive Tour, Forestry Tour, and Queen Special Tour! Getting to work a live beehive with a beekeeper and see the honey extraction process will be unforgettable. If you're looking for the best raw, organic honey in Indiana and a truly unique farm experience, Hunter's Honey Farm is a must-visit!

So many cool things about that experience... 1) I used a chainsaw for the first time and now I want to cut down all the trees! 2) We put something that wouldn't fit in our car in our relatively new truck bed... it was sooooo big! 3) While I was there, I bought several jars of their honey (again)! They have completely embraced the "hot honey" trend and are making some amazing honeys that are perfect for a nice "drizzle" on pizza, a Christmas ham or even as a sweetener in your green beans or spaghetti sauce! Their service is fantastic and you're even able to taste a few before buying! Go see them for gift baskets or to join their "honey (not jelly) of the month club" #iykyk
