However, it was uniform in color, no apparent smoke ring, and thinly sliced. The service was especially attentive and friendly. The time to serve the food was perhaps a little slow at a time then the place was maybe 1/4 full of customers.

The food choices made it hard to make a selection. Due to my limited options of foods I can eat I went with the oxtail starter and dinner with the crawfish étouffée. My husband got the blackened salmon with a side of greens and Mac n Cheese. My guest went with the surf and turf pasta. One had brisket and the other got chicken with shrimp. The food was good but got cold really quickly. It's hidden in a neighbor and a must try if you're in the area. The atmosphere is welcoming and great for groups.

Let me just say what I got served looks as if the grease needed to be changed. They came out grayish, and I know it wasn't seasoning. They saw it didn't look right but served it to me anyway. I would not recommend it. I wasn't impressed with the food. The vibe was off. I didn't feel welcomed when we entered the location. And we were the ONLY paying folks seated in the restaurant. Total disappointment! The restroom are shared with other businesses attached to the location at the rear.
