For the main course, I ordered the Mexican interpretation of Bucatini al Nero. As someone who loves the Italian original, I was amazed. It kept the spirit of the dish while adding a Mexican twist that somehow made it even better. It wasn't simply Italian or Mexican cuisine--it became something entirely its own. My wife chose the Triangoli de Humita. The name might sound unusual, but so was the dish--in the best possible way. It was far more than a corn ravioli. The incredible depth of flavor, paired with a rich, dark mushroom sauce, made it one of the standout dishes of the evening.
