Wine Gallery is the best wine shop in town because they have the best deals and provide the best customer service. I've been here about 10 times in the last year and it's always been a great wine buying experience. Each person whose helped me with picking out wine has been pretty knowledgeable and friendly and that's why I keep coming back. I love their sale that they always have going on which is the $6 for $60 deal. It makes my monthly wine purchase very affordable. I've gone to other wine stores and they don't even come close to this kind of deal and selection. I don't even know how I found this place but totally glad I did. Calling all winos! They have so many wines to choose from! I bought some Brie at Trader Joe's and I was thinking, why not get some wine to go with it? The nice lady at the counter was very kind as to help me pick out a white and a red that would compliment the cheese. She suggested a buttery Chardonnay and a full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon, and I'm excited to try one of them tonight after studying pharmacology. The lay out of the store is warm and inviting. The tinted glass sets the ambience so it's not too bright inside. They also have wine tasting on the weekends, I believe. They also have pick 6 for $60, but only the ones with the red tags that say 6 for $60, which is a great deal of your coming in with a friend you can split the cost! read more

After driving in circles around Colorado Springs, learning that grocery stores don't carry wine, and liquor stores mostly had yellow tail and Andre, I turned to yelp (what took me so long) and realized this super cute shop was less than a mile from our hotel! Both women were extremely helpful and the store is beautiful inside, with dark woods and tons of wine. They helped me find a bubbly rose which we enjoyed so much in this hot weather that we will probably get another one today before we change hotels. They also own the spa next door (Mateos), which I toured. Good selection of retail products like candles, soaps and lotions. read more

This is a great liquor store in the Rockrimmon area. A much needed addition for quality wine, spirits, and beer. It's not a warehouse with gut bomb stuff. I was looking for a place close by and withnangeeat variety of wine and definitely found it! The guy that was working (sorry didn't get his name) was extremely knowledgeable. He was able to tell us what wine met our wants and needs. They were swperated by regions and then from sweet to dry. They have high end wine, but also a lot of wines that averaged from $11-$18. The best things about here is they offer a 6 for $60 with around thirty wines to choose from! If wine isn't your drink of desire they offer liquor and beers that are not your average Coors Light or Ciroc. They are more specialities that can nit be found everywhere. On Saturday from 2-7 I believe they do a wine tasting that includes their 6 for $60 wines and others. If you are in the neighborhood definitely stop by! read more

Traveling out of state and wanted to pick up a gift for our friends. We were warmly greeted upon entering. This store is beautifully set up, has great selections in all price ranges, and many other things which are perfect for gift baskets/boxes. The owner ended up helping us and she was very knowledgeable. Also, the store uses beautiful wood crates to display your gift of wine. Notable Northern Italian selection that equals any other place in town, but since it's detailed better (you can find stuff and run into other stuff while hunting) it's just more fun. My friend and I stopped here on our way to Pueblo because it looked easily accessible from the freeway. We were happily surprised to see the voluminous display of wines, many priced under $20, as well as a variety of limited productions. Two guys working there worked with us to choose 4 bottles, including a pinotage from South Africa and a Columbia Valley Syrah. The employees are super knowledgeable and so friendly! The atmosphere is very inviting and the shop is thoughtfully arranged and easy to navigate. There is a 6 for $60 deal on select bottles of wine which is great if you're looking to buy more than a couple bottles. They also host free wine tastings on the weekends paired with cheeses and small bites that they also sell at the shop. I wish I lived closer and could frequent this wine shop. I was so excited to find The Wine Gallery last month when I first moved to Colorado Springs because it is more than an adventure to find quality, diverse wine in this town due to the strange liquor laws. I visited twice and had a great time talking with the staff / hearing their recommendations to round out my six bottles for the 6 / $60 - they truly are knowledgeable. Given my previous positive experiences, I was incredibly disappointed with my visit this evening. My boyfriend and I were going to enjoy the complimentary wine tasting and of course - buy some wine for the upcoming Thanksgiving festivities. The tasting room was packed when we arrived, so we opted to browse and snag a seat once the back room cleared out some. Finally - success! We grabbed two bar stools at a table of eight and waited eagerly to partake in snacks and good wine. Unfortunately, the servers working the tasting room serviced and acknowledged everyone except for me and my boyfriend for nearly twenty minutes; mind you, EVERYONE else at the table was spoken to, given refills, and asked how things were going. I was cutting them some slack and trying to suppress my "am I being ignored because I'm black / in an interracial relationship / do they think I'm broke" internal alarm UNTIL an older white couple sat down next to us (super sweet and friendly folks!) and you guessed it - the duo was immediately greeted, handed snacks, and walked through the wine. I walked out, without the six bottles of wine that I planned to buy because I just couldn't support a business that refused to acknowledge my presence - it was as if I had on an invisibility cloak. Sorry to the very nice guy up front with glasses who was helping us, because I know you had to restock the wine that I abandoned...also thanks to him for going into the packed tasting room when no seating was available to bring the ONE glass that I did get to try out to the floor - bravo to you! read more

Very nice wine shop, and the staff are always helpful and knowledgeable. I used to go out of my way for the 6/$60 deal, really because they didn't actually make you buy 6 bottles to get the deal (usually we'd buy 3-4)...but today the salesman said I had to purchase 6. That seems fair, but not really worth the drive when I can get similar at my local shop. My sister and I stopped here Saturday for the wine tasting. The tasting room was small but the people very knowledgeable. After we had our 4 tastes we walked around to pick something out. We eventually asked for help and I am so glad we did! The guy who helped us was wonderful and really wanted to know what we liked before recommending something. And he asked about our budget. We told him it was Girl's Night and that we would be enjoying our wine with popcorn and a movie and he made an excellent suggestion for us.
