I do not recommend this company! Just note that the $1500 you pay for is literally nothing but a Uber service to take you to 4 different winery's, w/ a lunch. It'll be much more cost effective to just get an actual Uber! They didn't even make us aware that they had rented a different van for our group of 12, apparently the original van had broken down and they didn't feel the need to let us know. The van we had was a big white tacky van with no side step to get in, especially for one of the women in our group that had a hard time getting in, so much of a hard time that our driver had to find a curb high enough so she can get it. The Driver seemed he was irritated from the Moment he picked us up, which was a bummer being that it was my bachelorette party it kinda put a damper throughout our "tour" the van kept jerking as it was switching gears, and to make things worse he drove that van as if it were a small car. All in all it was the worst experience of my bachelorette weekend. Do yourself and your group a favor, Save your $ and look at other options. The wine line is NOT the way to go. read more

I highly recommend The Wine Line when you are in Paso Robles! My husband and I chose the complete all-inclusive package with lunch and tastings and we are so glad we did! Our driver was Cat and we had a great time. She was fun and extremely knowledgeable about the Paso area as she has lived there since the 70s! I recommend the all-inclusive package with lunch as most wineries do not have lunch options. The lunch was a great sandwich and side from Jeffry's Country BBQ. If you do not eat sandwiches, they do have salad options. Cat was SO KIND and brought the lunch out to us and made us feel special, instead of just handing us the bag of food. She made us feel 'served.' We picked 4 wineries to visit on the tour, and Cat never made us feel rushed and even came back to pick us up as we weren't ready to leave. So sweet! When Cat was dropping off another couple in Downtown Paso, we thought it would be fun to stay in town as well so she brought the wine we brought to our hotel so we didn't have to lug it all over downtown! My wife and I recently used The Wine Line on July 5th. We had an amazing time. From the minute we were picked up, our driver Larry made our wine tasting adventure a great one. The Wine Line gives its users a lot of freedom by allowing you to choose the wineries you would like to visit from a long list. Since it was our first time to Paso Robles, we let Larry choose the wineries for us. His selections were great. We ended up visiting the west side and made stops at Hunt Cellars, Midnight Cellars, Austin Hope/Treana Winery and Summerwood Winery. Each stop was approximately 45-60 minutes. We highly recommend Hunt Cellars and Austin Hope/Treana Winery. Hunt's tasting experience was great. The number of wines they offered was surprising. They also offered a tasting of their ports which was fun. Austin Hope/Treana Winery has a very chill vibe and it was just fun to sit on the couch and taste wines! We also purchase lunch through The Wine Line. The food quality was great and it was nice not to have to worry about finding lunch somewhere. We ended up eating our lunch at Summerwood on the patio which offered some great views of the surrounding area. The van that transported us from location to location was nice and clean with good air conditioning. There is a cooler in the back that they will store all of your purchases in throughout the day. The van was also stocked with lots of water and some simple snacks which was great! Tip - Take a HydroFlask/water bottle with you. Most of the wineries have water coolers but only provide you with a tiny cup. Got to keep hydrated! Overall, The Wine Line was a great experience. read more

First, let me say that I've been on a number of organised wine trips around the world. Both private and mixed groups. I don't think I have ever had a bad experience. The Wine Line definitely didn't damage that statement. The pre-trip messaging and information was excellent. A reminder the day before and a call on the morning to give an exact pickup time. And the pickup was prompt too, right on the schedule. Anyone that has done a group tour before will know that all people have different speeds at each venue. When timings don't go quite to plan you need an experienced driver to know what you can pick up later and when the group needs a little nudge. Liz our driver was excellent. Managing to keep the group close to time, but with the flexibility to let all do their own thing without ever seeming like it was a bother. Lunch was also way better than I was expecting for a pre-ordered boxed snack. All in all a very enjoyable day, thanks to the Wine Line team. read more

Not to mention, you will have a designated driver, so you can imbibe without worry. We booked the 'eastern loop' route for my birthday and Jason was super helpful in the planning for me and 8 other friends! He coordinated everything from our lunch orders, to our winery appointments, and was super communicative and responsive! He also knows the area well and helped with recommendations. Larry was our driver who was also super wonderful and patient with our group of 9 girls! He walked us in to every winery and helped with our purchases. You have to do this! My 45th birthday, I had to do something fun, so myself and my two girlfriends booked the semi-private all inclusive tour( boxed lunch + all winery fees included). Jason was our driver and he was amazing! Super sweet and personable, he drove us to our wineries (I picked 3 out of the 4), and we had an itinerary, so we knew when he'd be there for the next one. My girlfriend joined Vina Robles wine club, which hands down was the best all day. I don't really know anything about wine, but I hear this is a good idea. 4. Total flexibility. You can stay 40 minutes at one winery and move on, or you can stay all day. I really liked that instead of waiting outside for us to let him know what we wanted to do, Sam actually came inside each winery to check on us. Beyond cool. 5. Discounts. The Wine Line hooks you up with a nifty bracelet that comes with perks, such as free tastings at certain wineries and discounts on wine purchases at others. 6. New friends and lots of fun. From start to finish, AMAZING. When I called to book the trip, Jason was absolutely fantastic. Extremely nice and accommodating. The day of our excursion, our driver, Eric, called me at about 10:00 AM to let me know he would be there at about 10:30. And that, he was! The van was stocked with plenty of bottles of water and some munchies. Eric was so friendly, nice, and knowledgable. It was our first time wine tasting, and we had very minimal information about the area. He answered any questions we had and gave great suggestions. We had one other couple on our trip who wanted to do mostly east-side wineries (we were partial to the west), and Eric split our time between both. We let him pick the wineries and he took us to Via Vega, which ended up being our favorite stop of the trip. The owner, Larry, is awesome, and the wines are fantastic. Nick was a very cool driver. Very insightful and helpful. Tried not to push us to any winery, but still able to make recommendations. His timing was almost always perfect. We almost never waited on each other. We went to six wineries on the west side. The $59 per person minus $10 for booking online was a decent value, especially if that comes with some free tastings. Our only issue was actually the van itself. The graphics over the windows made it impossible to see outside on a cloudy day, and was actually a bit claustrophobic. August 5, 2013 Hubby and I went to PR 1st time for wine tasting. We didn't know much about the area. Wine Line was booked a week out, and they delivered. We took the West side tour recommended by Jason. Next trip we'll try the East side. Jason called my cell as promised with a pick up time. We stayed at The Inn at Opolo. It's a FABULOUS 1st class B&B. Jason picked us up on time, 10:45 at the Opolo wine tasting room. One down, 7 to go. Jason gave us our wrist bands, checked our ID's, and set the stool out for me EVERY time, offering a gentleman's' hand. :-) It was Monday, and I'm guessing a slower day for tasting. We had a private guided tour. It was just the two of us and Jason all day. We hit a total of 8 tasting rooms, including Opolo. We got lucky, typically I think it's usually more like 4-5 Castoro Cellars was our 4th tasting room and the perfect location to sit under the trellised vines overlooking the vineyards. We ordered the box lunch in advance, and it was REALLY tasty. It hit the spot, and saved time. Jason was very good about walking us in and introducing us to the staff at each tasting room. Although we weren't fans of all the wines or every tasting room, the staff was all very nice and accommodating. Jeff was prompt ,yet patient while we closed up our wine tabs. We never felt hurried. He carried out and secured all our wine orders each time. All in all it was a great experience. Four of the tasting rooms had $5-$10 tasting fees that were waived if you made a purchase. Most, also allowed us to share our tastes, which was perfect half way through the day. You don't need to get toasted when tasting. We came home with well over a case of wine. 1. We had an amazing time wine tasting on The wine line. We to Paso Robles for our daughters 21 birthday. My daughter wanted to try some sparkling wines so Jason made sure we went to a couple of wineries that offered it. We had a private tour and we were very well taken care of. Lots of fun. Thank you to Jason and to our driver Kyle for an amazing honeymoon experience. We booked an all inclusive tour and Kyle was amazing. He was knowledge about the area and we learned a lot while riding from place to place. Kyle actually walked up with us and introduced us to every tasting room we went to. We felt like we were getting the VIP treatment not only because we were honeymooners, but because we chose to "hop on" and were guests of the wine line.
