He loves coming in, we've had him board as well, he gets his grooming done by Gilbert nothing but great things. They have lovely events, seasonal pictures & just so involved with all fur babies! Thank you Sophia, management & everyone else!

I had my Sheltie in for grooming yesterday, and prior to the appointment, I spoke with the groomer…read moreby phone to clearly explain what I wanted -- a trim and to have her undercoat brushed out. When I arrived to pick her up, I was absolutely shocked to find that she had been completely shaved. This is not only negligent but demonstrates a serious lack of understanding of proper grooming for this breed. Shaving a Sheltie is harmful and can cause permanent coat damage, skin irritation, and increased risk of sunburn and heat stress. My dog is a beautiful, lively Sable Sheltie, and now she looks and feels nothing like herself. I am extremely upset and disappointed with the service I received. For reference, it is never appropriate to shave a Shetland Sheepdog. Their double coat serves to regulate temperature, protect from sun and moisture, and insulate against both heat and cold. Shaving removes this essential protection and can cause irreversible harm. I provided explicit instructions for a trim and brush-out only, so I am at a loss as to how this happened. I will be posting a detailed review with before and after photos. I have had her at this groomer before and it was done properly. I don't know if I can trust to bring her back again. If I could give negative stars I would.

They've taken good care of her while she's in their care. I've had no issues whatsoever. I love the new location, super roomie and welcoming. Colleen is truly the best! This is by far the worst grooming place I have ever taken my dog. They poked my dogs eye with the…read morescissors and did not tell me I called them and they denied it. We picked him up and literally within 10 minutes his eyes swollen up and we took him to the ER Where they said he had blunt forced to his eye. They didn't even do a good job overall this place is actually quite sketchy. I have taken my dog to other places and this was the second chance I gave them. I can't believe these vulgar beasts treat our fur babies in such a manner. They are the worst groomers please please do not take your fur babies to them. The lady who helped me was the heavyset younger woman I should have left when I got there. The older lady also heavyset kind of dragged him in. He didn't want to go, and I figured he was just being a little sketchy cause he doesn't like to leave my side Believe me when I say this they are horrendous. My dog is a $5000 miniature doodle and they poked him in the eye and then denied it. It ended up costing me over $1100 to take him to the ER. These beasts will definitely be hearing from my attorney.
