Stopped in this premium pet food shop after getting a massage next door at a JoJo. They have a large array of premium dog and cat products ranging from dry, canned, freeze dried, refrigerated and frozen foods. I picked up some freeze dried Instinct brand raw boost mixers to supplement lil Lucie's dry food. The staff was friendly and helpful. I don't know how competitive pricing is here compared to other shops but I liked this place regardless. read more

Love the store but the inability to keep stock of my cat's Almo Nature Tuna in Broth(Pacific and Atlantic) has drove me to Amazon. When speaking with the workers about it, we are told "some guy buys the entire case when they come in". We have special ordered through them and received it, but that's an additional hassle that we don't need. Please work on your Perpetual Inventory software to keep an additional 1-2 cases in stock at all times. It's obviously a big seller, so sell it..... read more

Cute little boutique-ish shop in Lincoln. We needed to stock up on Fussie Cat wet food right before we left on our trip and our usual pet store had them on back order. So we came here. Their prices are considerably more expensive than what we normally pay (86 cents versus $1.19 per can). But they seemed to have some cute items that you might not find in a big chain store. read more

I usually go to petsmart or whatever chain they have in town. We went on vacation and my neighbor watched my dog at her house, along w her other fur babies. Unfortunately my dog eats more when other dogs are around. He ran out and she fed him some of hers. He seems to really like it and it also helps keep his poops solid and small. I called around and this was the place to buy it from. I did a delivery and it was beautifully on time. Once I run out I'll be purchasing from here again. The owner seems awesome. Leave the politics at the door and have some concern for your customers. I have been a repeat customer for about 5 months and the staff is knowledgeable. I visited the store yesterday and I was shocked on what I encountered. Upon walking in the store, I observed three customers not wearing masks and two employees did not have masks on as well. Very disappointing and serious risk for all in the store and patrons, talk about a liability issue. For a store that models its approach for the safety and well being of pets, very disappointed the ownership does not follow this model for its patrons but instead turns this into a political opportunity (see his response in September). Regardless of your political beliefs and understanding of "facts" when it comes to this pandemic why put your store in the middle of varying opinion, especially when the base of your customers are seniors (Del Web) living in the community and health is critical to their well-being. Glad to take my $200 monthly contribution elsewhere. And yes Mr. Owner, this platform is the basis to evaluate whether a business is successful based on operation standards so leave that out of your counter response (see the two stars - "could have been better". read more

The first time I went to this store was about in the month of May 2021. The store is clean and they have good quality food for both cats and dogs. Though I had seen certain dry cat food bags that had vegetables in them with some meat products, something that Petsmart does not sell in certain brands. Cats are 100% carnivores, unlike dogs that are about 60-70%. Cats do not care for fruits and vegetables in their diet, but Wheatgrass extract would be a great option in cat kibble! I purchased a powder probiotic for dogs, a gift for someone I know who has aging dogs. The one thing that turned me off from wanting to return was the woman behind the desk, who had brown hair, fairly young and wore glasses; she was cold and unfriendly. She never asked me, as I was the only one in the store with her, if I needed help finding anything, or did she greet me. She was eerie. She looked sad, angry, depressed and she did not smile one time. I felt a little at ease when another female customer came into the store, but not enough, to ever return. People who work in customer service need to be friendly and open enough to engage other people for whom they do not know. read more

Ben's is the only place I trust with my dog's health and nutritional needs. I go to the Lincoln and Roseville store and both are wonderful. The owners are incredibly knowledgeable. There have been countless times over the past many years that Brad and Sally have helped me with issues concerning my dog. Just recently I have met Zanna at the Lincoln location. She has been AMAZING. My puppy had a negative reaction following a vaccine that the vet could not fix. I was told by the vet that it could not be related to the vaccine. Several expensive and useless tests later they tried to tell me he needed an ultrasound to check for genetic abnormalities and possibly medication for life. I went to Ben's and Zanna informed me she has seen this before following vaccines. She gave me a combination of herbs and natural anti inflammatory supplements. Within just a few days, my puppy's issue was completely gone. It's been 6 weeks now with not a single issue. Ben's is not JUST for pet food. Although they do carry all the best food and treats. They really can assist you with the overall health of your dog! read more

Great local pet food store! I stopped in here a few weeks ago as I have an adult cat who likes to barf food up on random occasions no matter how many foods I tried. The associate was SO helpful and sent me home with 4 samples. All 4 samples were great for my cats so I stopped back in today to pick up a full bag. Today's associate was helpful, kind, and new information about the products. I love that they have a rewards program and she even carried the food to the car for me. We will be back! read more

Very disappointed with the poor and dangerous advice provided by female store clerk, J****. She was kind and welcoming but recommended reducing feed to my 11-week old puppy by 75%, incorrectly assessing that he's overweight so at risk for metabolic or ligament problems. My veterinarian said she's completely wrong!! He said my pup's weight is optimal as growing puppies under 16 weeks normally accrue baby fat which rapidly disappears after that stage of development. This store sells only grain-exclusive food and though this subject is controversial employees parroted pseudoscience, false statistics, and incorrect biochemical mechanisms which they do not understand. That controversy has little scientific merit so matters little to me but wrong information staunchly presented as if evidence based facts creates mistrust. A little knowledge can be dangerous when misapplied. I would have been happy with this clean & friendly pet health food store if they simply offered their vast food & treat selection and balanced recommendations without bogus advice or unproven claims. read more

I recently took my cat to the vet and she need a more heavy protein diet. She recommended this place and the food is great nutrition wise. They have a few to pick from that is just straight protein. It's A-Bit pricey but there are a lot of coupons, five star, and there own buy 12 bags get the 13th free kinda thing. Worth it for my kitty. Also helps that there just down the road. I love this place - the owners are very sweet & knowledgeable about all of the food that they sell. They have a HUGE selection of dry & wet food for your pet and it is all the healthy good stuff! I am always greeted by my name and they chat with me about my kiddies and asks how they are doing all the time. I buy the FROMM Game Bird cat food for all of my babies, including my fosters!
