The Mill is only open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, roughly during business hours. Pretty much something for everybody here, the converted mill has a variety of stores with vintage and local items. Each of the stores have their own flavor and personality. You can find furniture, books, kitchenware, music (variety of vinyl), clothing, and all sorts of antiques. You could definitely spend hours here, as the place is quite large. Most of the businesses are on the first floor, while there are other businesses (like photography and music recording rooms) on upper floors. There's also a music lounge, though I haven't been. And hey, if you can't find anything here, or if you have kids that are fussy, there's Hometown Arcade for old school (and some newer) arcade and video games. What a cool place!! I've never heard about The Winsmith Mill until last week when I heard there was a Christmas market of vendors happening in one of their buildings so I just went this weekend to check it out. I can confirm I've never seen anything quite like this place! This industrial building (which is a 165 year old mill complex) has converted into hallways of boutique shops filled with local businesses and it's truly got something for everyone. I loved walking by and taking a peak in at everything. My favorite was one particular vendor who had crates of vinyls, and a section of $1 vinyls as well as really cool old school art for sale. There's also stores selling second hand clothing, furniture for your home, purses, candles, etc. Such a unique setup and it's all to spread the local love! The mill is only open Friday - Sunday but I'd definitely suggest checking it out. There's plenty of parking as you're driving in as well as a whole parking lot area in the back if you keep driving straight through. read more

This place was fun! There is a range of stores anywhere from artisan goods and flipped refinished furniture in stylized shops to your good old estate sale flea market places. The prices vary by store, but I thought the estate sale place (ReMarkable Cleanouts) had stellar prices for furniture, much of which was solid and good quality brands. I was able to find a beautiful, like new dining room hutch for $85 which I thought was super reasonable. The other artisan type stores were certainly more expensive (not really "thrift" store prices) but they were still fun to look through nonetheless! I'd definitely come back here for another day of hunting! read more

Favorite vintage shop(s) of all time. They have five incredible and super unique separate stores all bundled into a massive barn/warehouse - literally something there for everyone. I go with my mom a bunch, but I've now brought at least four friends, my brother, and my dad - they all were OBSESSED. There's a mostly mid-century place (White Dog Vintage) , a farmhouse chic shop (Channel Shabby Rose) , a truly antique and estate sale vibe (Remarkable Cleanouts) , a shop with new, old, and vintage artisanal pieces all together (Shiplap and Chandeliers), and my FAVORITE is the queer-owned vintage and plants shop with a little section for events and crafting (Out of the Closet). If you are considering renting a unit from Norwood Commerce Center at the Winsmith Mills, I strongly urge you to reconsider. My business rented a unit from them starting in 2019. The building conditions and most importantly management's negligence regarding safety conditions was very concerning. I pointed out clear fire code violations to building management in writing several times and these were never fixed. I was in the building in October 2020 when there was a fire, and I heard NO fire alarm or smoke detector. The only way I knew to leave the building was that another tenant came to a unit and banged on my door, and I came out to a hallway entirely filled with smoke. After the fire department shut the building down for over a year (and counting) management continued to deal with tenants with utter disregard for both safety and their businesses and livelihoods. Sadly I know numerous former tenants who lost their businesses and their livelihoods because of the mismanagement of this building. Long story short - if you're looking to rent a space for your business, stay far away from the Norwood Commerce Center. They have shown blatant disregard for the safety, wellbeing, and livelihoods of their tenants. There are many much better and safer landlords out there. read more

Great fun to look around at assorted Objects. All the Area/stores are connected With ramps. Technically one floor. There are plenty of space for parking. So if needed you could park on one side goes through to drive down to Finish the other stores. When I was there they did have a food truck but otherwise than that not Much to get. Warning the facility Is not air conditioners, They do have fans through the building and one of the areas they do offer free water. Make sure you wear good shoes. Some of the entrance ways do not have handrails. Bring something to drink read more

Such a cool experience! It was like going to Brimfield without the hassle! Worth it! They had many storefronts inside the huge industrial building, ranging from staged one-room displays to jam packed rooms of stacked picture frames. A sublime location for anyone who is fond of antique/vintage stores. It's a building with 2 floors of vintage treasures, which are offered up Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I only found some small household decor here, but there is so much to see! The vendors are friendly and not pushy at all; I only encountered one who told me about each item as I looked at it, but that wasn't really a deterrent. Prices vary, as there are individual vendors and some have items much older than others. Some basics to note: * Lots of vintage/antique jewelry, furniture and collectibles. Not a great deal in the way of clothing, at least on the weekend I chose. * Cash and carry. I think at least one of the shops takes credit/debit, but it may be only over a certain amount. The building does have an elevator, and at least one shop offers a service to help you bring large items to your car. * Plan to spend at least a few hours there. There are so many shops that lead to other shops, and you can easily lose track of time (as I did)! Take your time too! One vendor expressed lament to me that a lot of people only poke their heads in, then promptly look to the next shop, assuming that she won't have what they may want. I spent about 40 minutes in her shop (admittedly, it was my favorite that I'd seen), and upon my bringing my purchase to the counter, she observed "I like a woman who looks at everything!" It's a unique, wondrous place, and assuming antiques and vintage items are of interest to you, it's quite a pleasure to truly spend the time looking over it all. read more

All sorts of styles, used, re purposed, different price ranges, even a little cafe. Witnessed some very reasonable bargaining as I believe many of the vendors don't want to leave with stuff at the end of the weekend. This place is amazing! Its a hidden treaure. I could literally spend a whole week going through all the different vintage and antiques stores. There are basically 15 different antique and vintage shops at this location and each have a different style and something else to offer. There is also a Design Center and this really AMAZING woodworking shop called K international Woodoworking, that makes stunning decor and furniture as well as refinishing (which comes handy when you find something cool at the antique shops). I buy EVERYTHING that i need for my home here. From furniture to holiday decorations, to gardening/ craft tools to gift wrapping and gift items. I mean EVERYTHIG, I even got my dehuminifyer here for $40 at Remarkable Cleanouts. Overall this place is really the WOW factor, its amazing and fun to shop at and have everything I need. Wow, there is just so much here to see, it's unbelievable. The building used to be an old Tannery, from what I'm told, but it's now an antiques mall. Some are individual shops and some are larger shops where vendors rent individual booths or sections. There's so much to look through and there are really some gems to be found. There's even a little table labeled "coffee shop" with a Keurig and a jar with a $1.00 price tag. It's honor system, place your dollar in the jar and make yourself a coffee. Kind of a nice touch. There's a lot of repurposed and refinished items as well as an art gallery on the third floor. I believe they're primarily open weekends. I definitely recommend this place to any bargain hunters or antiques lovers. There really seems to be something for everyone here. read more

I originally thought this place was the Norwood Antique Mall. Can you tell I'm not from the area? They have something for everyone! It's not over crowded with customers, but a lot of people come in and out. I found so much amazing furniture that I only wish I could ship back to Chicago area.
