Just three adults trying to jump around. Decided to check out this place on a Friday around noon. The perfect time, not a lot of people. We got a great deal on groupon. The admission for us was $10 and $3 for the socks for 90 minutes. (Your welcome!) I've seen bigger locations, but this one did the job. They have it spaced out well so you don't feel as close to other jumpers. We played dodge ball, basketball and swung into the pit. I asked how they clean the pit since there are hundreds of foam pieces in there. I was told from a staff member they switch the foam out with new ones every 6 months. I got my flu shot so I'll be fine lol. This place is not just for kids! We got a workout. I burned 600 calories roughly in an hour. The amount of strength it takes to get through these obstacles is crazy. I left there feeling like I had worked out at a gym. Now go get your Groupon!

I was not as pleased with how they were handling COVID restrictions. They do have a sign stating masks are required, but it was quite a few people with them down under there chins or not wearing them; and talking and interacting with people. The staff should be encouraging it more in that type of environment with people constantly interacting In the main area of check in and the jumping area this was noticed. I did bring it to one of the staffs attention about the masks and she stated 6years and younger no mask, and that they are going to make more signs. Social distancing was followed mostly. I guess with that teen to young adult population it's harder to get the importance across too. I don't think I will be bringing my family back during a Saturday again.

Looking for a place for your 6 year old to meetup with her classmate for a playdate? Defy Gravity Raleigh is a trampoline park that my kid loves! We went on a Saturday for a 1:30pm jump. The girls agreed they only wanted to do 30 mininutes which proved to be enough time for them to have fun. You do have the option to sign your waiver online of you are a first time jumper. If you are a returning jumper, your information is saved and sign in process is easy. For both girls to jump plus socks(it is required that you buy their grip socks) it came to $22, which me and the other Mom split the cost. The girls lined up in the ramp with their cute matching socks (that they get to keep) to listen to rules /instructions. When the big digital clock turned to 1:30p, the group of kids were let in to get their jump on! There are parent viewing areas on the upper level but we chose to stay close to our girls. There is plenty of staff on hand also to watch the kids for their safety. Besides the trampolines, there are foam pits which our girls enjoyed jumping into. Overall it was a fun playdate for them and a great, reasonably priced choice for us Moms.

I purchased 1.5 hr jump passes off groupon for my kids 9 and 14 and 2 of my sons 14 yr old friends. It was a Sat night and we decided to go at 8 pm. Prior to arriving I tried calling several times to find out more information. I didn't want to arrive and find out that they were at capacity and drive out there for nothing. I called for about 30 min and no answer. If you don't already have the socks for jumping then you can purchase some for 3.00. Luckily, everyone in our group already had the socks. Once we checked in girl at the counter told me that even though we had 1.5 hr jump passes, my youngest would have to come off at 9pm because after 9pm was for 13 or older. I didn't see this on the web site(it's probably on there, just not easy to navigate when you're in a hurry)and this was part of the reason I wanted to call. If you are a non-jumper there is an observation area, wifi, comfy chairs and tv upstairs where you can look out over the jumpers. If you bring $$ there are massage chairs, vending machines, and some video games too. There are cubbies for the kids to put their shoes in or you can rent a locker. I held on to everyone's cell phones while they jumped. However, you might want to have something w a zip pocket or rent a locker if you don't have a safe place for your phone. All the boys had fun. They were all super tired (and smelly) after all that jumping. It is a bit pricey, but worth it from the perspective of the kids.

This was our first visit to any type of trampoline park. We received a groupon gift and came around 11am. The staff was friendly, explained the process well and made me feel like a valued customer. My 3 children, all 5 and under had a fabulous time! I was very pleased and will definitely be back to visit in the near future. Thank you Defy Gravity Raleigh for making our first experience a memorable one!

Despite confirming details in advance and paying nearly $700, the event was disorganized from the start. We were given the wrong party room number, causing delays, and when the kids were ready to eat, the room and food were not prepared on time. The biggest issue was the ice cream. I had paid for ice cream for all guests, but only after the party started was I told they were out. I was advised mid party to buy something next door at Food Lion so my husband went to get ice cream--only for the manager to confront me in front of guests saying I couldn't serve it due to policy. After an embarrassing back‑and‑forth, they eventually allowed it, but the damage was done. My son's party was disrupted, and my guests witnessed unnecessary conflict. To make matters worse, billing confusion at the end left me feeling accused of not covering a guest, only for it to later be revealed as a miscommunication that left me feeling awkward because the venue involved the other family by calling them. The entire experience was stressful, embarrassing, and poorly handled. While the party host tried to be helpful, the management's lack of communication and professionalism ruined the celebration. I've been a loyal customer since they opened, but after this ordeal I am cancelling my membership. Customer service matters, and this event showed me Big Air Raleigh does not value it.

Mostly, the evening kids…read moreclasses, but she has also been a drop in for a day at camp, and she went to a birthday party of a friend she met through Warrior Tech. In all three instances, I would give this facility a 5/5 review. What I appreciate most is how much the instructors (aka techs, aka trainers) care and the values they are emphasizing. Obviously they are looking to promote healthy habits through diet and exercise. But more than that, I am seeing them instill values of good sportsmanship and teamwork. Seeing my daughter cheer on the kids in her class and then seeing the other kids rooting her on....I just love it. And when I see one child helping another do a skill or obstacle, working together.... I have no words. Competition is not a bad thing. It definitely has its place, but the ability to work as a team is a far more valuable skill and one that may not come as naturally as competitiveness. The techs are passionate about what they are doing and seem genuinely proud when a child gets a little further up the warped wall then they did last time they tried. Or when a child has better form on pushups than he/she did the prior class. I love seeing the pride and confidence my daughter emits when she figures out a new skill and I feel that same pride and genuine positivity from the instructors as well. She has spent a good bit of time at Warrior Tech, but never gets bored. The instructors are so creative in setting up new obstacles, exercises, and games. I will say they can be strict...but only when it comes to safety and never without good reason. This is, obviously, not a bad thing. When these obstacles are potentially dangerous, I want safety emphasized and I'm grateful for a reasonable amount discipline in the pursuit of a safe environment. If my child were doing something that increases risk of injury (to her or someone else), I would rather her receive a few stern words than a broken bone. As far as the birthday party we attended, it was a great time. So much so, that I booked my daughter's party at Warrior Tech as well. If you have really young ones, I don't know that I would recommend Warrior Tech. I would say at least age 5 on up to adulthood. Honestly, I wouldn't mind having my birthday party here and from what I understand, they have hosted parties for adults! The kids were completely engaged in the activities during the party. Again, you felt the teamwork and camaraderie as the kids ran through the obstacle race with their friends chanting their name. The vibes here are just great! Positive energy. Enthusiastic and encouraging employees. Overall, a great place to work out and have some fun for both kids and adults.

If your kid has no interest in playing on workout equipment and completing obstacles all day, please don't sign them up for the camp. It makes it less fun for the others who are there to get better at their skills. But, if your kid loves running, climbing, and all things ninja warrior, then this is definitely the right place!

Although, the class times we wanted (Saturday or late weekday) were filled up (shocker) the staffer was able to recommend options for us, such as enrolling in the open class and place our name on a wait list (we would have been first) for the Saturday class and that we could do a free trial to see if we like the coach and class time. We ended up enrolling in the 4pm weekday class, which wasn't ideal since my DH and I both work in Durham but the gym has WiFi. So I can work during the 2 hours waiting for my daughter and make up the time leaving work early. No problem. My 12yo likes her class and coach, who is attentive to each child's skill set. Pluses: + Large gym and plenty of apparatus to work on + Staff/coaches are professional and seem to know the kids well. They're there for the kids not for us parents and that's the way it should be. Besides, a lot goes on during the class transitions and there's just no time to be chatting with parents when you're making sure that the right kids are going home with the right parents, and the kids are going to the right coaches for class. + Free trial class + Offer summer camps, track out camps and tumbling clinics + Offer big viewing room on the second floor with picnic tables and benches, and bleachers + WiFi available All in all, I'd recommend giving Gymcarolina a try.
