I popped into this place for a teacher workday with my two sons who are under a year and just under 6 years. They really liked it. My younger son played in his area while the older one pretended to be a construction worker and a fire fighter and a race car driver. It was a lot of fun. The place is alright. They did a nice job decorating for Halloween and the workers did the best they could cleaning up but it's a bit sparse with toys. The back room with darker lighting doesn't have much equipment and some of the toys seemed dated and needed to be replaced. And for $15 per kid, no free coffee or tea for parents seems a bit cheap. Had my 3 year olds party recently!! We love this play space and have been many times for special events and general play! They did a great job with an add-on for the balloon arch request. The 30 minute set up time is great because of a lot of places only give you 15 minutes and then the staff doesn't help with any set up. it's always tough being a frazzled mom trying to get everything together before people start going showing up so it was great that they continuously offered to help to get things set up. The playhouse has several "buildings" to make a small town. The construction house, the personal home, the doctor office, police station, mechanic shop, barnyard, dance stage and treehouse. There is also an enclosed area for babies and a reading area for toddlers. The stations are packed with relatable toys and the reception area offers snacks and coffee. If you forget your socks, they sell children's and adult socks for a small price. There is a nice area for parents to wait or work and inside the play area, there are benches and chairs. The restrooms are family restrooms stocked with items that parents may need for their littles. We love Piney Town and look forward to many more visits! read more

We took our grandkids here a couple weeks ago and they had a great time. The place was clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly.

I have been to Piney Town Playhouse a handful of times with my 3 year old. It's an awesome place to beat the heat or rainy day and your child can't get any outdoor play time. My daughter always has a blast when we go. Love the coffee bar available and the staff are always so friendly. We went to one of their events over the weekend. Princess party and princess Belle appeared. My daughter absolutely loved it. We would definitely attend another event. read more

At first when I drove out here I was expecting a museum. Something similar to Marbles museum in Raleigh. Basically it's just several playhouses in a space in a strip mall. My friend said she liked it better than Marbles. For us it's the same distance to here and marbles. But this place takes the stress out with parking. They have their own parking lot so you don't need to worry about finding/paying for parking. Also you don't have to deal with all the downtown Raleigh traffic. This place was really cute it had serve all play houses. One was a house with dress up clothes and laundry play things. Doctors office, grocery store, ice cream cart, mechanic shop, construction area, farm house, and a play pen for younger kids. And for about $10 you can get admission for your child and 2 adults. This place is great! My daughter loved it. Also when it got to be lunch time there are a few restaurants around we could just walk to. read more

overcrowded. Older kids bullying the little ones. I think this place should reconsider the amount of children they allow into the place and have a bigger area for the crawlers. I liked the coffee bar area inside. The staff were nice. Had a maybe 6-7 year old taunting my 2 year old with a toy she wanted. I was able to get her away but the little girl followed holding it out to her and then running away multiple times as I tried to heard my kid away from them. we ended up leaving after 30 minutes. We miss our old play museum back home for sure. it was never like that. read more

We had our daughter's 3rd birthday at Piney Town today and it was absolutely awesome! The hosts met us at the door, helped us unload the car, decorated, greeted our guests, played games with the kids, ensured that we didn't need anything, several times, made great coffee drinks for the adults, served refreshments, and cleaned up. It really took away some of the task and work of having your child's birthday party and allowed me to be more present and just enjoy the time. Thank you so much for such a wonderful play for children to play and adults be able to enjoy themselves too. We live a little further away so it was many of our guests first visit, but I don't think it will be their last! See y'all again soon! read more

My friends and I brought our daughters here and we really liked it! We were there for 2 hours and the babies (15-19 months) still could have continued playing. This is a cute place for babies to toddler age to play. Pros: Quality interactive toys. I noticed that many of the toys we're from the Melissa and Doug brand. There were some Farm Hoppers that the kids could bounce on so I thought that was really cute. Cons: No place for the kids to snack inside due to allergies. I guess this could be a pro, depending on who you're asking. So I had to take my daughter outside in the cold to give her a few snacks to hold her over until the rest of our group was ready to leave. I would definitely visit there again. There was a lot of cute photos of my baby girl I took there! I just wish it was closer to me. read more

Adorable place for kids from the age of 1 to grade school. The owners really thought it through as to what interests kids. At first I was skeptical because although it's adorable upon walking in, you don't really see how much fun it has to offer. I took my two and four year old boys. They had so much fun we ended up staying three hours! The admission is an all day pass so you're welcome to come and go until closing. I thought that was a really cool idea so you could go grab lunch and then come back without repaying. So, inside, this place has so many options for your kiddos from a 2 and younger area to big imaginative spaces like a farm and a grocery store. My boys loved the fire truck and Medical make believe center. At one point every kid in there were playing together in the medical area. It was adorable. I loved that the kids, regardless of age, had so much fun playing together. The owners also think of everything for parents. There are hand sanitizers in several areas, two baths stocked with diapers and other baby essentials. It's kept very clean and the staff were very friendly. We definitely plan on going back many times! read more

Took my son here with my friend and her son and the boys had a blast! It's hard to get him out of the house since recently having twins and not only was he able to get some much needed energy out but they had great benches/space and were super welcoming with me bringing the babies along. Some of these reviews are kind of ridiculous. It's a place for children, NOT Adults. It's a great place for children to interact and there's so much room for imagination.
