My grandsons love coming here, it's one of their favorite spots to play. There's a great dedicated baby/toddler area that's perfect for the little ones, snacks available for purchase, and clean restrooms (which is always a win for parents and grandparents alike!). I also appreciate that shoes aren't allowed inside, it keeps the play space nice and clean. Overall, it's a fun, safe, and well-maintained place for kids to burn off energy. read more

Large open space with plenty of play centers and area to run around. My toddler aged kids liked it, but did seem overwhelmed as it was very busy when we went but this is expected for a weekend visit. My opinion is the open area seems to be more suitable for ages 5-10. There is a gated infant area though (did not use). Nice cafe area for parents. Downside for me was the cleanliness. Despite the no shoe policy, most mats, netting and toys were starting to get visibly worn or discolored. Bathroom was also dirty. Not sure if I'll return with toddlers but would consider it if the space was refreshed. read more

We were invited for a birthday party hosted during a set time in one of the two back rooms. The facility itself is spacious and clean and laid out nicely to encourage play. There are slides, big magnets to build structures, sliding carts, a net ladder to climb and a baby area. The staff that does the check-in was not friendly and just barked rules at us and would not let children enter unless she saw them put hand sanitizer on their hands in front of her. My suggestion would be to move the check-in area or at least the welcome person to the front door instead of right in the play space. Children come in and are so eager to run and play that they take off and the rule speech had to be given first. This happened to other families and we weren't the only ones "reprimanded". A suggestion would be to put all the rules in the waver you sign ahead of time or in a note to save unpleasant encounters at the entry way. No shoes allowed- only socks for everyone and they have a cubby space for personal belongings. Foods are only allowed in the cafe area in the back or the 2 rooms. There are lots of rules on the rocket ship slide as well that are marked on the rocket. Fill out the waiver ahead of time to not stumble on your phone in the waiting area. This facility is a good option for indoor play when it is raining yet I don't plan on brining my family back after the unfriendly welcome. read more

My family decided to go here for the kids to burn off some of their energy. It's space themed with tons of open play space. They have swings, a rope course, rock climbing wall, and so much more. They even had a little toddler area. We spent about an hour here. There's a cafe towards the back that you could get snacks, drinks or coffee. It's all self checkout. They have rooms for birthday parties and I saw signs for track out. Seems like a great place to go on rainy days for stay at home moms. read more

I came for a birthday party, and my two daughters really enjoyed this indoor play space. The different activities were well spaced out, and there was a variety of climbing, building, obstacle coursing, tumbling, and imagining activities with plenty of space to do it all. There's even a separate space for calmer activities, which is nice for kids who don't like the overstimulation. The back has some rooms to hold parties, as well as an open seating area for adults to hang out while semi-watching their kids. For the size of the space, I think it has a good amount of things to keep a young kid occupied for an hour or so. It's probably best for ages 2-7, since younger kids who can't move around can't really enjoy it all and older kids may get bored easily. The place was all very clean, as they require shoes to be taken off before entering the play space. read more

Took my little guy here this morning as a part of a playground. They have open play for up to 9 families. At the 11 and 2 hour they offer storytime and an activity. Love this as it provides a break in the play space for staff to clean and sanitize. Socks must be worn and are available for purchase if you forget. Self serve cafe with lots of snacks at a reasonable price and an amazing cup of coffee (I got a mocha and added some syrups, so good!) The play space itself is SUPER spacious. Lots of space to run to and fro...probably helpful that they keep it to a max of 9 families. There is an area for really little to older (max 5 ish...a 6 yr old could have fun too if they has a friend or enjoyed playing solo.) On super hot days or rainy days this will be a great place to come and let your little ones burn some energy and meet a friend or two. read more

You have to make a reservation and pay $14 for one child before you go. Make sure you take socks for both you and your children. If you forget, they do have socks available. I took my 9 month old granddaughter thinking there is going to be lots for her to do there. I was sadly disappointed. In her section (a gate separates the rest of the children area but it does not click/lock for any older children to be able to get in the same area as the babies are in). I arrived and realized I forgot the socks because they were in my other diaper bag (one from my daughter and one is mine and I had hers). So, they gave me a pair for both of us. The area the babies are in has two small couches for crawling, cubbies with blocks, several foam pieces center of room but not setup and not enough to make anything and a toy on one side but the pieces were missing and a magnet board with twirling pieces and solid pieces stuck to it and a table and chairs. That was it. I would think before you open each day, the owner/employees would go in, clean the areas and make sure all toys were complete and foam pieces setup for crawlers, etc. I can't believe I had to make an appointment to go and pay $14! I was sorely disappointed! The libraries (free) offer Babytime for babies and mothers/grandmothers a chance to do things with their babies/granddaughters/grandsons that is so much more rewarding. I normally do not review places, but I wanted to save some mothers from wasting their time and money. Hope the owner of Over the Moon puts a little more effort into making the baby area more suitable for babies. read more

My kids had a blast! Owner is super nice and helpful. There is so much for the kids to do and explore. Even my 1.5 year old found a bunch of things he could do independently. The cleanliness of the place is amazing. I felt safe and did not feel like proper social distancing is an issue, since it's such a vast space and limited families capacity. I will never go back to over the moon. The staff were extremely rude and judgmental. I went this morning with my twin 2 year old boys (25mo's to be exact) and my friend with her 14mo old. I have been to so many play spaces and my boys absolutely love them because they get to be around other kids while just having fun and running around. Over The Moon's set up is just not safe at all. As a TWIN mom I cannot be in 2 places at once. I found one of my boys playing in the toilet because it's completely open access from the play area. The other at the very front door trying to get out. The play space itself is not gated in or anything to smaller tots like mine can just go literally anywhere. One of my sons kept going in the back area where they have STORAGE completely accessible. The 2 female staff kept getting annoyed and shaking their heads and talking crap about me between them. Like I'm sorry, how can I possibly be in 2 places at once. And why is this stuff openly accessible anyway??? Never have I ever been to a place space that isn't gated where kids can get out of the actual place space without assistance. Their set up is not tot friendly nor friendly to moms with multiples whatsoever. I don't think it would have been so bad had the staff not treated me the way they did. So unkind and unprofessional. Gate your entrance! Gate your back play area so smaller kids who don't know any better can't just go and get into things they shouldn't. Oh and all the while the workers, sat at the tables in the cafe on Facebook and texting. I saw their screens multiple times. No one was at the entrance. I will never go back. read more

Such a great place for toddlers and small children! The play space is outer-space/astronaut themed with a great mix of toys and activities to engage little ones. The price is very reasonable ($10/child with discounts for siblings) and reservations are for 80 minutes. The space is wide and open so parents/caretakers can always have a clear sight line to kids. I also really appreciated the thoughtful effort the owners put into creating COVID protocols. Only a certain number of reservations are taken each time slot, masks required for adults and children ages 5+, required to wash hands upon entry, several air purification systems throughout the facility, and the owner was visibly cleaning throughout the duration of our visit. Huge indoor playground for space enthusiasts of all ages. Have been bringing my little here since he was 12 months old. He loves exploring the space and running wild. They have climbing structures, a ninja course, a slide (with an awesome space ship cabin), a bouldering wall, a crawler area separate from the main floor, lots of puzzles, books, toys, giant Legos, etc. There's a cafe in the back where you and your offsprings can get a snack and rest, private party rooms, and clean bathrooms. I took the kids that I nanny here for the first time a few months ago and they love it! We've gone back a lot since. The stuff they have is super impressive and cool even if your kid isn't a mega space fan. They have lots of stuff to keep your kid busy! There's a giant spaceship, lots of stuff to build with, Magnatiles, Space crafts, etc...And as a bonus they have cute NASA space suits that the kids can dress up in :) Would recommend! read more

At first glance there doesn't look like much to do, but looks can be deceiving. There are just enough things to do to keep kids entertained without completely overwhelming them! Disclaimer: there is a HUGE concentration on STEM activities, but that's what my boys (7 and 4.5) love, so they are in heaven. 80 minute sessions are perfect. 35 minutes of play and then a 10 minute break in their cafe where you can get a drink and healthy snack without breaking the bank! Then another 35 minutes of play and time to go! It's a great way to exercise the mind AND body without getting overwhelmed and overstimulated. Well done! read more

Only complaint is that I wish it had more gymnasium/soft climbing type of activities for little kids, a little more like the Little Gym (who don't have open play ability much with constant classes) than Marbles, mostly due to the more compact space. read more

Fair indoor playground option. They advertise Launch Pad activities but it appears to now be closed with only limited craft activities and materials placed outside the door. As my grandchildren come here primarily to do crafts, Over the Moon has little appeal for them. Also, the staff are generally not kid friendly. read more

What a great play space for kids! My six year old loved it. There is an awesome rocket ship with a hidden 3rd floor space and a fun slide. There's a ropes course, magna tiles and Legos area with books and quiet space , climbing wall, area with pod chairs, rolling seats and wobble seats. I love the rubber/soft floor. There are two large climbing domes, large building blocks, tunnel and balance toys. It kept her entertained for the full 80 minute block of time we signed up for. Pricing was reasonable and the owner was super friendly. Socks and masks are required. It seemed to be very clean. There was a kitchen area where you could purchase drinks and snacks. This is not a place you go to play all day but it's great for a quick break to burn off some energy and get some exercise. We will definitely go back! read more

Do not waste your time here. Brought my family for a party. I was asked to put a mask on and I told the heavy set set lady I can't wear a mask due to COPD. I have a breathing issue. She didn't care she told me I had to put a mask on. I said again I can't wear a mask I actually have a medical exemption. She then got stern with me and demanded that I leave. After a heated conversation about how she can't discriminate against me and kick me out of a place because of health issue I have .... I was kicked out. If you or your child has a health issue and can't wear a mask DO NOT COME HERE YOU WILL BE DISCRIMINATED AGAINST. I will be contacting the Cary Chamber of Commerce and the BBB. read more

Took my son and twin babies to play. I've been to every play place in triangle and hands down my new fav. Great great space to run and get energy out. Very well maintained and clean. The man working was informative and there to watch without making it awkward and intrusive. My son and daughters both got energy out at age appropriate areas. Went in there recently and was VERY social distanced from everyone (except my 2 kids) and here comes some guy (assuming he works there) and rudely tells me to put my mask over my nose.
