Another place only takes phone calls and you may or may not speak a polite representative. 2. They deliver and stack the wood! That other place doesn't deliver. You have to go get the firewood or arrange delivery with someone else. 3. You get email confirmation with your expected delivery date. Yeah, that other place did none of that. 4. I got to provide delivery instructions during the sale, explaining which gate to enter and exactly where I wanted the wood. 5. I got text updates! On my delivery day, I got texts saying when to expect delivery. 6. They arrived when they said they would!!! Don't count on that with the other guys. 7. The delivery guy was not only polite but he was dressed well and appeared clean. I only mention the cleanliness thing as the others would smell, be unshaven and slovenly dressed. 8. Stacked neatly! They all clearly worked super hard especially in the very hot weather. I was satisfied with the work and I do recommend. Only weird thing: I had wanted the large branch of my ash tree preserved for me for firewood. I was told it was already on the truck and ash wood is not good for burning. (It was clearly rotted and missed by them initially, but I was foolishly still willing to give them my business) I was confused when Andrew in haste focused on doing non- essential work on the tree when I clearly just need to get this branch off so I can have the roofer come. He was pushing for more work to be done than I was requesting. I redirected back to the removal of the branch on my roof and for whatever reason felt it was appropriate to say several times how it's not worth his time and he would be "losing money" even though I was going to pay him what was quoted. He was "ugh"ing and sighing, i'm pretty much acting like this was the biggest inconvenience of his life. He even said something about if he's able to get enough money out of another client he'd be able to make it more worth his while. I am not exaggerating when I say five or six times he made these comments. I was genuinely shocked considering how much money I paid them to prevent this very thing from happening, he just blamed it on "a previous trimmer". Zero empathy, accountability, disgustingly rude and completely undeserving of any future business. I felt completely take advantage of as a young woman and absolutely disrespected. Andrew doesn't care about people or good business, and he couldn't care less about my damaged roof.
