Pros - eggs were delicious - latte was solid - wait staff was friendly - water for folks who were waiting in line - they were busy, but went through orders quickly - everything was cooked to order where you could watch

    Full Irish Breakfast

I'm a big fan of full English breakfast so I wanted to see if there was anywhere for Irish breakfast. It's legitimately the same dish but I was happy to find it either way. I was t disappointed at all. The lady behind the counter started cooking it as soon as I ordered it and it didn't take long at all. The food had good flavor to it and it was reasonably priced at 13€ for the dish. My wife got a sausage roll and was pleased with it. We liked it so much we came back the next day. I got Peach Custard Danish and it was amazing. I could've eaten more than one of them. My wife got the butter and bread pudding, she was pleased again. I recommend it to others.

    Mini Irish Breakfast

Delicious food and great portions at a very affordable price. Lovely spot for breakfast. Highly recommend.

Stopped by as I was visiting Dublin and ordered a green tea and an eggs Benedict. The service was expectional and very quick. Its a very homey atmosphere which made my friends and I feel very welcomed :) hope to be back! Thanks pm

This is a must stop for breakfast in the city. We had the French toast, eggs Benedict, and peach and cream pastry. All were ridiculously tasty. Highly, highly recommend this place!

    Avocado and Poached Eggs

We went here for breakfast on our last morning in Dublin because it was close to our bnb. Immediately upon walking in I was impressed by the set up and display of delicious looking pastries. The decor was cute and friendly. Since we were hungry and wanted to fill up for the day, we opted for food and didn't get any pastries, even though they looked amazing. There isn't a wide range of food options, but they have staples like eggs and French toast. I got the Avocado and Poached Eggs with cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, and tomato over brown bread. It was absolutely fantastic - the cream cheese was somehow toasted and meshed so well with the avocado. While it took longer than I expected for the food to come, the wait was worth it. The price was also acceptable for the amount of food we got. Next time I'm in Dublin I'm coming back here!

My full Irish was fantastic. However, the person I was with had salmon and eggs benedict and the salmon was quite rubbery. The coffees were great and the rest of the food was fantastic but unfortunately the salmon needs to be addressed promptly before I can give this establishment the full five stars. The service was excellent though.

yummy food and got seated easily on a busy morning! smoothies taste fresh and the hashbrowns were great. poached eggs weren't runny but still enjoyable. overall lovely experience and would recommend for an affordable, tasty brunch :)

Stumbled upon this place while walking around Grafton street. We came in on a weekday for breakfast, we placed our order and sat ourselves. My husband and I ordered full breakfasts with coffee. We were pleasantly surprised at how big the portions were, we had to take one of our pastries to go. Overall, loved the ambiance and the food, would definitely recommend.

The Wooden Whisk should be your no. 1 spot for great breakfast in central Dublin! The selection of home made scones is awesome (especially the rasperry scone). They have a huge amount of home made pastries and cakes. I had the luck to try the Bailey's cheescake. Just lovely! Good service and a not so touristic atmosphere complete this great café.

Cute place, quite busy on weekend mornings. Had avocado toast with poached eggs. Delicious, and the portion size was good. They also have a large selection of pastries. Didn't try but they def look good. Nothing too special about this place, just a good classic brunch spot.

Nice casual place for lunch, dessert, or great coffee, and wine! No need for Starbucks in Ireland. These guys have it covered. Great service! One suggestion: they heat the wraps, so if you don't want them heated, let them know when you order.

This place caught my eye because of their colorful and scrumptious cakes display. It reminded me of traditional Portuguese and Brazilian bakeries so I had to surrender to my sweet tooth and give it a go. The location is great - 2 min walk from the Spire. There are some good prices depending on your choice but a big cup of americano goes for 2.50 and there are plenty of pastries, sandwiches, take away fresh baguettes and almondino (superb almond cake really moist and sweet). Right next to where you pay they have some "samples of the day"- like bread and chilli sauce for example. The only problem would be that many people arrive and sit and after waiting for a while realize that you must go to the counter to order and pay. And the place is very small with a couple of wooden chairs that are ok but not the most comfortable seating.

We just missed the cutoff for lunch and didn't want to wait until 6pm for them to start dinner service again. We found this place by accident after asking the locals for a recommendation on good food options. There are so many options in Philsboro but we didn't have internet access to check Yelp. Woodstock is a cafe/Hofbrau that serves comfort food that I know and love. They have a very good roast pork option that has the crispy skin attached. You get several slices of thinly sliced pork with an enormous helping of vegetables and potatoes. The meat was well seasoned and tender. I was given two kinds of gravy and it worked out quite well. For about €13.50, you will be stuffed. The staff here are very friendly and we were given a small side of applesauce for desert. They are an ace in my book.

You'll find all walks of life here and it's brilliant! They do a savage, cheap breakfast; total comfort food. You are charged by item and you also get tea/coffee and toast with it. It's amazing value. It's buffet style so you tell them what you want and staff will serve you up a generous portion of each item. The food itself is simple but really hearty and high quality. There's a room at the back that you might not spot on first glance that's got lots of extra seating, should you come in at a busy time. Worth a try if you're looking for something cheap, filling and like what your Mammy'd make ya! :)
