Tuscan beans on toast and ricotta toast special
    Audrey F.

Amazing spot all around! Togo coffees and fresh baked pastries available, as well as sit down tables for a full menu service. High quality ingredients and fresh seasonal produce incorporated. Small market as well, with unique small batch products and sauces. Big windows with lots of light.

Local, fresh, FULL of flavor, friendly staff, cool vibe....YES! I can't wait to come back here to eat everything. Luckily I can because it's one block from where I'm staying. You MUST come here when in Dublin. Forget the tourist trap restaurants downtown, this is it. My partner had the special sandwich of the day, steak, and it was fresh and hearty. Not a heavy steak sandwich. I had the lentils of the day, which were Mexican and it was so full of flavor. Going to grab a pastry to go now and plan my next visit here!

A lovely place with a great concept. Local produce and products sold in the shop and a small but varying menu in the cafe. We went here for a late lunch and I am afraid was quite disappointed. They had run out of most things when we arrived. How a cafe runs out of half the fishes in a 5-6 fish menu is beyond me, in any case, I chose one of the dishes they did have. It arrived luke warm and lacked any flavor. A chili lentil dish that was neither hot or spicy and lacked seasoning. I wanted a piece of carrot cake and by the time I got around to ordering they had run out of that too. The flourless chocolate cake was nice and I liked the taste but too dense for my liking. Coffee was way to sour for my liking and I left half of it behind. Maybe it was an off day but this place is not cheap and I expected more. The shop itself is lovely and they have some nice things but overpriced in my opinion. Staff were nice and friendly and the ambience made up for some of the disappointment. Will give it another go and see.

    Ricotta toast w honey

The vibe of this place is unmatched. Stopped in with grand plans to get an arancini plate and a glass of wine to kill time until dinner - I ended up not loving the arancini special of the day - but think that I was happier with my pivot than I would have been with arancini. I ended up getting the sourdough toast w ricotta and honey - in my mind this was going to be one lame slice of [probably still pretty good] sourdough with toppings. NOPE. You get two giant slices of bomb sourdough and then a full vat of whipped ricotta with honey. Exceeded expectations. Wine was just ok (by the glass options limited, red was sweeter/lighter than I would have liked) but man that toast!

Stopped in on a Friday morning- My only regret is that I didn't find this sooner while on holiday! It's a great space to have a meal and catch up on some work. I ordered the vegan toast and a side of eggs. This is not meant to be hyperbole: one of the best breakfasts I've had in a quite a long time. I almost ordered a second serving, but I didn't want to be a weirdo Patrons are advised that tables should be shared- Make a new friend!

Positive and chill vibes all around!

Lovedddd this place. Wanted to return but trying to experience a spread of restaurants while on holiday. Awesome atmosphere, cool art, and great food. I loved by beans and eggs dish -- tons of flavor and a generous portion, tasty sourdough bread underneath. Partner enjoyed a more simple egg and toast dish with tomatoes. We split the hot smoked ham which was delicious. A fantastic find we happened to stumble upon whole heading into Dublin city center. It was quite busy, a sign of a good spot. Stop by here if you're in the neighborhood -- you won't regret it!

    Croissant and pain au chocolat

Delightfully delicious. Eaten here twice and both times were deeply satisfying. Also, they sell pain au chocolat that is a work of art. Had a pulled pork sandwich with miso mayo and a citrus slaw that made me smile; it was so good. Also had the green eggs and ham with such fresh ingredients and tasty meat. I would eat here anytime.

Excellent food and service. The only problem was limiting myself to just one dish as everything looked so good. Espresso drinks excellent and I had the salads which were such a refreshing mix of roasted veggies, pickled veggies and herbs and fruits served with a delish piece of foccacia.

I'm curious as to what inspired this premier and unique looking coffee shop! Upon entering this place, you wouldn't think they serve food or drinks. The decor all over the place make it seem like you're at an art exhibit combined with a local farmer's market and your own living room. Nothing matches, but everything about it looks comforting. As for their coffee, I ordered an expresso by accident, but the guy working there was cool enough to convert it into a cappuccino. And supposedly, they use a double shot in every coffee cup so you can really smell the flavor and savor the taste. I really enjoyed my cappuccino! That's another great thing about this place. You can see them create your coffee. It's like art! The kitchen area is also open, so you can see them prepare your sandwiches or plate. They even offer fresh fruits and delicious looking pastries for your coffee. You gotta check out my pics! Give Starbucks a rest and give these guys a try!

I'm a huge a fan of this hipster cafe. I thought it would be super pretentious, but the staff was really friendly and it has a cool vibe. It was quite busy mid-morning on a Friday. I had a cappuccino, toast, and a blackberry financier. Everything was delicious. Toast sounds boring, but the bread was amazing, and I loved the marmalade. The blackberry pastry complemented the cappuccino perfectly. If you are looking for breakfast and great coffee, you'll be happy you tried The Fumbally.

My favorite place I visited in Dublin. I went around breakfast time and ordered The Fumbally eggs. De-lish!!! I've never thought to do bruschetta on a breakfast sandwich but it is genius. The atmosphere is so calming and relaxing. I wasted to stay here all day. If I lived in Dublin, I would definitely spend a lot of time here. If you get a chance, give The Fumbally a visit. You will not be disappointed!

Since I don't eat red meat, I was very excited to see a vegetarian Irish breakfast option. I ordered this as well as a mocha latte. Despite the rain, my friend and I sat outside since all of the indoor seating was occupied. Thankfully some heaters provided warmth for what could've been a chilly breakfast. Very quickly the lattes came out which my friend and I sipped on. They were soooo cute, mine had the design of a little bear on top! The latte itself was hot and not too sweet, the perfect start to the experience. After a few short minutes, the food came out! Immediately, my friend and I dug in. It was honestly everything I expected and even more! There were no weak links on the plate and there were generous portions as well. I sat there for a while working my way through my delicious plate!! Overall, I was very happy with my experience at Beanhive. It was an aesthetic cafe that also provided a hearty breakfast. I would definitely recommend.

I didn't wait more than 5/10 minutes. I grabbed a couple of different things for us to try -- the focaccia, morning bun, salted caramel roll, and the cinnamon roll. My favorite was easily the focaccia, which could compete with the best I had in Italy -- so good. The morning bun was good, but nothing crazy exciting. The salted caramel roll had to be the least caramel-y caramel roll I've ever had, but it didn't taste bad and the salted part was interesting (in a good way!). The Cinnamon roll was unique, which I appreciate. It had a big glob of cream cheese frosting (too much for me, but I imagine it would float a lot of folks' boats) and some orange flavoring! I quite liked the orange. I wanted to get a matcha to go, but they said they didn't have disposable cups. You could buy a 5 euro reusable one and then if you brought it back you'd get a refund... interesting, but I was leaving that day and wouldn't be back in the area. I can't speak to the ambiance because we were in and out, but it looked like they had a decent amount of space. All in all, I would recommend this place! It was a wonderful pile of meat overflowing out of a little skillet with a stack of soda bread and butter. Truly it was a delight. I also ordered up their irish coffee. This was especially fun because it's not a simple shot of whiskey, coffee and cream. They create a brown sugar syrup blended with the whiskey to cook off the alcohol but retain the flavor.
