We had delicious meals, the service was excellent and we loved the wine and beer. We were told we would have a 30 minute wait which was only 10 minutes at the most! Drawing at 6; we show up way before that have apps, entree, and when I ask 10 after 6 when's the raffle they say "oh it was outside". My wife and I had an early dinner prior to a show in Jupiter and were disappointed. We both started with soup, she had lobster bisque which was excellent and had large chunks of lobster. I ordered the onion soup which was rather ordinary with bland mozzarella cheese on top rather than a gruyere. The cheese was bland and stringy. my wife had the ribeye sandwich that was tender but under seasoned. Th ribeye lacked any taste. I had the prime hamburger that was overcooked as I had ordered rare and looked like a quarter pounder. 2 Miller lights and 2 cups of coffee we had a tab of $78.00. Got a favorite...MacMurray Pinot Noir for only about $10 to $15 more than retail. Yes, it's loud. Lots of games going on, but hey, it's an upscale sports-themed establishment. I just had the worst experience. They have the worst customer service and the manager Rachel is not a very Friendly kind person. I sat at the bar by myself and it took a long time for someone to take my order . The manager and these other ladies were not even making eye contact to me. It was like I didn't even existed to take my order. The bar was pretty empty, now I know why that restaurant was so empty on a Saturday night . My food never arrived , I had to cancel my order, left hungry and this woman called Rachel not even apologized. I went early on a Sunday....around 5:30 PM....to try to beat the crowds since they don't take reservations....yet. Even though it was busy, I got a table right away (just for me....celebrating my BD). It was a mix of club, nice casual, and sports bar. Lots of people due to football watching. Tons of screens all over but appropriate. Noise level up there but you get used to it. Impressive happy hour.....almost half off premium specialty drinks. I had a Smoked Old Fashioned. That was different, and fun! The wine wall was impressive but I went with the standard cocktail. Now for the main dish: Prime Ribeye. I'm a steak snob and don't eat anything less than prime. It was cooked medium, which was perfect. A nice cut of beef and very tender. I was a little disappointed in the flavor. Flemings and Morton's still reign supreme. DESSERT: Chocolate Stout Cake.....totally yummy. It came with 3 candied bacon pieces. The candy crust was a bit too hard. Better with a lighter coating next time. I don't like biting into something to have the hard caramel stuck in my teeth. To go with dessert, which is really dessert in itself....Keoke coffee with whip. This is one of my go-to favs but this particular one had a little different flavor. It was still good....just not a traditional Keoke coffee. Since I was alone, it worked out great because I had a good view of the TV screens and got to watch my top team, Seahawks, playing another one of my top teams (SF 49ers). Yes, I used to be a West Coast girl! My server was wonderful (thank you, Kevin!), as were the rest of the staff. They got into it in taking my picture so I can send to friends "back home". And for my BD, my cake was comped! The bill comes in a golf score card.....clever. A fun evening!!! Looking forward to coming back! P.S. There is garage parking and valet parking. We came here for apps and drinks and I was so impressed from start to finish. We got the passion fruit martini and Bloody Mary - both were so good. I absolutely loved everything about my experience at The Woods. The food was amazing! We had several appetizers at our table...my favorite being the lamb chops, which were perfectly cooked, and the oysters which were just heavenly! The service was impeccable, all the way from the hostess, who was sweet, to the manager RJ Zinner, who made sure to stop by our table. Our server, Kevin O'Brian was courteous and attentive, always available when needed. I would highly recommend The Woods to anyone. The setup of the place makes for a relaxed atmosphere that is great for watching sports. The appetizers are excellent, especially the buffalo calamari. The portions for the salads are entrees are excellent, and the quality of the food is outstanding. I have been there twice, and have also been very impressed with the service and attention to detail and concern of the management team of RJ and Brad. My advice would be if you are looking for the sports bar experience with way better food (at a higher cost), this is your place. If you are looking for a less expensive and, or don't like TV's with sports then its probably not going to be for you. read more

We arrive at 6:50 for our 7:00 res. We were told our table was not ready and would be texted when ready. Inquired at 7:15 and were told we did not respond to the text so our table was given away. Turns out they texted the wrong number??? Noise level was unbearable. Drinks at the bar were poured short and expensive. Seated at 7:45 to an area that had many empty tables, again??? Service was passable, food was mediocre at best. What was supposed to be served cold was warm/limp, hot was room temp and the burger was overcooked and tasteless. Lamb chops were burnt and inedible. Ended with a $7.00 valet parking fee. Perhaps The Woods should validate parking receipts to permit free parking as most other Florida restaurants. Would not go back. read more

This is a very clean nicer version of a sports bar with a bar side and a sit down side with big huge booths with tv's on both side !! Sweet if you like sports ! Ha they have private rooms if you have an event they have great prices and the menu is very good! Get the truffle fries with anything and the French onion soup. had to say that this was a wonderful experience overall. one of the best steaks I have ever had! their steaks rival any of the best steak houses in the country and I challenge you all to go try them! We came on a friday night and although they were slammed the server, who was wonderful by the way, sold me on the 32oz Prime porterhouse steak (wow!) my wife decided on the 7oz filet, both were tender, juicy and cooked perfectly. This was the worst experience we walked out after an hour and a quarter of no service and no food. We ordered 4 hamburgers and they could not get it together to make them in the 75 minutes. The service was non existent the waitress never came over once. One of our party found her and asked her to see what was going on. She never came back and when we were walking out she was rude enough to say I can't help it if the kitchen is busy. I will never go there again and will let all my friends and family know. I attended a Christmas Party here. I loved the place and anyone that reads my reviews know I am no pushover. They served a New England lobster appetizer that was fresh, cold, and delicious. Eh was our response to everything. Ordered a few beers and shared a few items for lunch. Lobster bisque had chunks of (previously frozen) lobster claw meat, but the bisque itself had very little flavor. We also shared a bruschetta flatbread which was awful. The crust was like a stale Bertolli flatbread, i.e spongy cardboard. We also ordered the steak tacos with a side of truffle fries. The meat had decent flavor and I enjoyed that you could ask for a specific temperature. My partner was not enthusiastic about them though. The truffle fries were soggy and had a watered down flavor. Other notes, the pepper shaker was ridiculous and shook out 3 pepper flakes per hour (slight exaggeration) but the styling does need to be functional. Maybe try a finer grind. Well, guys another splendid dining experience at this restaurant if you have not visit TheWoods you don't know what you are missing. If you want a really fine dining experience you need to go tomorrow. Our waitress this time was Kelsey and she really is an asset to this establishment. Great personality and she really has great knowledge of the menu. We started with the tuna tartare, what a presentation, not to mention the taste of it. Our son had a bowl of the lobster bisque soup that was outstanding. We also had the lump lobster crab cake sandwich withe truffle fries what a unique treat. Finish the meal with a couple of sweet treats, we had the stout chocolate cake with bacon, yes with chocolate bacon don't need to say anymore to die for, also had the creme brûlée. Wow. For those that really enjoy a great cocktail try the smoke old fashion a signature drink of the house. This restaurant is what all restaurants should model themselves to.
