A nice local (family owned) restaurant located on Donald Ross about 1/4 mile on the right heading west toward the bridge from US 1. First time trying out this place which serves breakfast, lunch & dinner. We came in for dinner and had a very nice meal. I had the Greek salad with Mahi Mahi & avocado and my wife had the Mahi Mahi bowl both of which were very good. The Mahi Mahi was cooked perfectly with a wonderful texture & flavor. Our server was very friendly and provided excellent service. Thank you for a nice experience! The restaurant has a nice feel with counter/bar seating (about 5 chairs) along with a variety of tables that seat 2, 4 & 6 patrons. Check it out! read more

Stopped in a little after lunch rush on a Friday. The restaurant itself is very clean, cute, local decor, and cozy. The wait staff was sweet as can be, knowledgeable, and extremely personable. We ordered the lobster bisque to start and one chicken Cesar salad and one buffalo chicken wrap for mains. When I say this was the best lobster bisque I have ever had I mean the best. The flavor on everything including the grilled chicken in the salad, the buffalo sauce and the fries- absolutely delicious. Everything was full of flavor, seasoned to perfection. We will most definitely be back to try their weekend breakfast and have some captains bites with their live music for dinner. Must try in Juno and finally something affordable and casual. read more

Go here!!! We stopped here before hitting up the Loggerhead Museum. All of us absolutely loved the food, the staff and especially the owner. I can't speak highly enough of this place. We ordered the chicken tenders, grouper sandwich, a chicken wrap and a kids pasta meal. My husband got sweet potato fries, and the owner brought out some extra with powdered sugar on top. Delicious!!! The chicken tenders were on point, crispy and just the kind you want to eat. The grouper sandwich was nice and light, with mango salsa and a tangy sauce on it. So good!! The regular fries were equally as good. Get those too! My 13 year old daughter was in a mood and both the server and owner tried to make her smile, despite her attitude. They offered ice cream, cake and cannolis. She didn't budge. He worked hard to help us... and the owner walked out and brought both of my kids these cute sea turtle key chains. The people working here were incredibly kind and thoughtful. The owner talked to us for a while, giving us ideas of where to bring our kids around the area. What a wonderful place!! We came here on a whim after going to Loggerhead. Best decision! The food was phenomenal and the owners and staff were so friendly! They were so unbelievably kind to our kids who left saying the Rusty Hook Tavern is their absolute favorite place. I had the grouper sandwich - truly so flavorful, crispy and the best fish sandwich I've ever had. My husband had the Mahi Mahi sandwich which he was raving about and said it was the best Mahi Mahi he's ever had. Since we were on vacation in the area, we made it a point of stopping by a second time and had the same wonderful experience. Our family who lives in the area joined us and now love this restaurant too! We can't wait to come back when we come and visit next year! This place used to be my go to place for breakfast under the old ownership. Their difference was things like Texas Toast .. great portions. So I was gone for 3 months due to having surgery, upon my return the place was sold. I ordered my usual .. but instead of a $13 ticket, it was over $20. All I had were 2 eggs & hashbrowns & toast & coffee. They toast was reduced by 1 slice. Now I see they put new tables & chairs inside/outside, the menu has some nice options, a bit more appealing selection than the previous owner. But the prices are OUTRAGEOUS .. walk across the street to the Juno Beach Cafe .. great price, great service & great tasting food. Rusty Hook is banking on the business from the new condos being built .. but any1 with 1/2 a brain will quickly go elsewhere .. too bad .. I want them to succeed .. but just not at my expense. read more

Run don't walk! This place was awesome. I had the Captain's Crunchy Grouper Sandwich and it was delicious a must order. I don't remember the last restaurant that I went to that served hand cut fries. Little hole in the wall mom and pop place, does not look like much from the outside but it's very good. About $2-4 overpriced (depending on what you order) but food is amazing. There were not a lot of people this evening so service was also very good. read more

Good place for breakfast. I sat at the bar and the owner was the server. He's a high-energy guy and very into Hard Rock Casino and Harley motorcycles I had the make your own omelet. It was large and tasted good. There are a lot of items on the menu. Prices are higher than diners but not bad. At 8:15 there were several other customers. Went to the restaurant on a Friday afternoon after seeing a lot of positive hubbub on social media about the place. It wasn't too busy when we arrived. We were quickly greeted and seated. The restaurant ambiance is just okay. It's a little noisy and echoey inside with the high ceilings, AC unit running and background noise making it hard to hear. Our server was friendly but spoke in such a soft voice that we couldn't hear much of what she said. Many menu items to choose from. A couple items were very pricey - salmon fillet for $34. Wife ordered the crunch grouper and she said it was very yummy. I ordered the nightly special: blackened chicken Alfredo with pasta and broccoli. Both dishes arrived freshly made and hot. My Alfredo plate was tasty but it didn't have any broccoli as advertised. Wife ordered a specialty rum drink on sale for $5. I ordered a draft lite beer but was given bottled beer instead for $7. Total bill was $69 plus we left a $13 tip. Overall, it was okay. We were glad we tried the restaurant but will probably not return. read more

I used to really love this place when it was Garden City Cafe. Ate here a few times since it changed hands... each time was worse. Prices are too high for what you get. I stopped in for an early dinner the first week of October. We ordered the Rusty Hook Burger...horrible!! Very salty and I could tell it was a frozen burger not hand formed. Did not taste like beef or any meat at all. The burger and fries were dumped on the plate. The ketchup and condiments on the table were filthy. I used a napkin to use it. The entire restaurant including the bathroom was in need of deep cleaning. Not a place I would recommend or return to!!! Don't waste your money. read more

Three of us enjoyed an early dinner at the Rusty Hook Tavern. We selected our seats after a nice greeting. Our server quickly made us comfortable and helped us order beverages. We enjoyed salmon, chicken tenders and chicken franchese. Portions were well prepared and accompanied by our choice of sides. My book club of 23 ladies held their monthly meeting at the Rusty Hook Tavern yesterday. I was impressed by the efficiency and friendliness of the wait staff. Our drinks were kept filled, special requests met, and food delivered promptly. My blacked mahi sandwich was tasty, and the four other ladies at my table were pleased with their orders of shrimp wraps and flat breads. The restaurant was clean.
