It was not only live spiders, it was dead bugs riddled along the walls. Whether the filth was behind the bed or underneath it is semantics and just goes to show you fail to take responsibility for anything. Not only that, but Jamie received 0 hostility from our party months before the wedding. The first time we met Jamie was for our walk through in July and we certainly notified him of our walk through time. He failed to check his emails. If Ben was fired due to unprofessionalism, why did you tell my coordinator that all brides would hire him directly? I'll post that screenshot below. He must not have been that bad if you were willing to reinstate him in future packages. If your package doesn't include a coordinator then don't include it on your website. Simple. Besides all of this, we're also now finding out Jamie scheduled 2 couples to do their food tasting on our wedding day, but told the caterer he only scheduled one. When the second couple arrived, they were given a portion of OUR extra food. You guys never confirmed this with us. So not only were strangers at our wedding, you gave them our food, which according to Jamie, is customary for your venue. We've also been made aware that Jamie's real name is Tim, so for every time we thought we were communicating with you, we communicated with Jamie the ENTIRE time. I did not post a review until now because with the type of business you run, I was concerned if we left a bad review we would not get our security deposit back, as you tried to do to another bride. It's a shame that you have such a beautiful venue, because an owner like you that fails to take accountability ruins it. Hopefully whoever decides to buy it in the future will run it better. If, according to you, the brides happiness is first priority, then you've done an absolutely horrible job at showing it! I'll make sure to respect this in my other reviews as well.     I'm giving five stars because overall it met our needs over multiple stays in Fall 2025…read more We have stayed at this hotel three times over multiple days within the last seven weeks due to family emergencies in the area. The first time we stayed; the lounger in the room was stained with a less than sanitary look. It was hidden by the table so you couldn't see the stain until you walked around to go to the window. It was taken care of by the staff and they replaced it with a more acceptable lounger. Each time we have stayed; it was very comfortable after long days. The water pressure in the showers is good. The soap,shampoo and conditioner is by Dove. The hallway rugs definitely need to be cleaned more or replaced. The breakfast in the morning was a nice perk. The Starbucks across the street was convenient too. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing to look at is the alarm clock in the room. It kept going off at midnight and I couldn't figure out how to not have it go off so I changed the alarm to go off during a time we weren't in the room.

Unfortunately, my interaction with Dani, the girl that answered the phone today completely changed that. I simply needed to "request a bed change" for a reservation that's still three weeks away. Since we booked through Hotels.com, they directed us to call the hotel directly. When we did, Danni immediately told us, "They lied to you, they scammed you and I can't do anything about this. You need to go back to them," in a very harsh and dismissive tone and we hung up. So we again contacted Hotels.com, and they once again instructed me to call the hotel because it was a simple bed change request. When I called the hotel back, Danni answered again. Her attitude was just as rude and unhelpful as before, and I told what we were trying simply change the bed from a king to two queens, and as someone in customer service, if she could try to help me that would be appreciated.... she got really snotty with me, and started talking me in a very sarcastic tone, and became very dismissive and even more rude than she was the first time! I have NEVER written review --but this experience was so shocking, and I felt others should know about the customer service that could have been an easy assist! I've been a loyal guest for years and have never been treated this way by the staff. I understand that employees have policies they must follow, but there's a big difference between saying "I'm sorry to hear this, here's what I can do to try to assist you today" but speaking to a loyal guest in a dismissive, confrontational, snotty manner is so unprofessional and a hotel as large as Holiday Inn. Dani could benefit from additional customer service training in how to treat paying customers with very simple requests, with some professional communication. I sincerely hope management addresses this, along with her rude attitude, because the hotel itself has been a place I've enjoyed staying in the past.
