I was unfortunately late for both my trial hair appointment and the wedding day appointment, BUT they were very accommodating and reassured me that they would still take care of me. I even asked if they have a makeup artist in case mine flaked to which they would be more than happy to assist with also. Thankfully I didn't need the backup makeup artist, but it was nice to have that option. Thank you Mojy for taking the time to help me with my hair for the wedding. I had a trial a few months prior where we got to talk about my ideas and concerns and Lexi was an expert listener, clarified what I meant, asked for input, and explained her rationale when giving suggestions. I have long, super fine, super curly hair and I'm always a little anxious letting anyone else do it, but Lexi was a pro. The style held up through the night and looked great in photos. No smoothing down frizzies or constantly tucking in bobby pins! I don't usually wear a ton of make-up and wanted to look like myself, and Lexi was totally on board for my vision. We tweaked a couple things day-of (softening the contour, change up the lip color a little bit) and it turned out so perfect in photos. But the thing that impressed me the most was Lexi's ability to be flexible and inclusive of the needs of my bridal party. I had an attendant who had recently come out as non-binary, and was feeling anxious about the hair/make-up process, not wanting to feel forced into a style that was too femme. They were unable to do a trial due to living out of state, but Lexi had them find photos of styles they were drawn to and send them along. She was patient as my attendant waded through the options to find something that felt right, and when they landed on the style they liked, Lexi totally delivered. She listened carefully, adjusted to their needs, and they felt so seen, heard, and loved in the process. It totally changed the tone of the day for them.
