WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! Wow where do I start? I hired Thomas September 2018 and he has been my…read moreattorney for over a year now. My ex continues to make false bs claims such as false child abuse claims and a false restraining order claim. Needless to say he continues to lose and I always win. In fact Thomas even got my ex less time and I was granted a year of backpay in child support in addition to everything I wanted after mediation. Thomas is the most brilliant, ruthless, savage man in the courtroom. He argues so well and knows the law better than any of those other basic attorneys that the last time we went to court he did so well that people were going up to Thomas asking for a business card to retain him! Although he hurts my wallet every time I retain him lol he is completely WORTH IT and there is no one else I'd trust as my attorney. I can see the fear it the other attorneys faces when they have to fight against him and I love to watch him argue. He keeps his composure and backfires to opposing counsel and I always feel so much better when I see him because he really does know his shit and court is stressful enough. But with the right attorney, it makes a huge difference. I cant thank him enough for everything he has done for me and I am forever grateful to Thomas for all he's done for me. We go back next month for sanctions and attorney fees and I am certain we will win that too! HIRE HIM - you wont find a better qualified man to destroy opposing party and win your case.

I had a previous attorney and ended up wasting nearly $15,000 from start to finish -- and by "finish," I mean the point where I finally had to let him go. He was a nice guy, but "nice" wasn't getting me results. I needed someone attentive, educated, aggressive, proactive -- someone who truly fights for their clients. That's exactly what I got with VANESSA GNEWKOW and her team. They were so on top of everything that at times they were stressing me out because I couldn't keep up with how proactive they were. That's the kind of attorney you want in your corner! Time is money. If you want to spend months going back and forth, wasting time and paying more money with the wrong attorney, keep scrolling. But if you're tired, frustrated, and ready to finally get through whatever situation you're dealing with and move on in life, call her office IMMEDIATELY and schedule a consultation. Make sure to tell her you read ANTHONY DEL TORO's review and you are ready to retain her immediately!!! Moral of the story: When you hire Vanessa Gnewkow, other attorneys will tuck their tails between their legs. I HIGHLY recommend Vanessa and her team. 5 stars all the way!!! Unfortunately, my experience fell short of these expectations. There was a lack of effective communication, timely updates, and diligent case management from Julianne and her office. On multiple occasions, I felt overlooked, misled, and lost throughout the process. Mediation was scheduled, and I reached out via email to seek guidance. I was scheduled for a telephone appointment with Julianne on Sunday afternoon, the day before the mediation, but no specific time was provided. I waited all day for the call and eventually emailed the office at 8:06 p.m. Julianne responded the following morning at 9:11 a.m., after the mediation had already concluded. The mediation itself was highly distressing; I left the session feeling as though I had done something wrong. The mediator remarked that I was too emotional and advised me to "get myself together," which only added to the frustration of an already difficult experience. I retained an attorney to help guide me through this tremendously difficult process, but I was left feeling overwhelmed, confused, and fearful. My initial court hearing was scheduled for mid-July 2023 but was postponed the Friday prior due to a family emergency involving Julianne. The rescheduled hearing did not take place until October 2023. I met with Julianne for the first and ONLY time at the October 2023 hearing. By February 2024, I had incurred over $10,000 in legal fees while still attempting to resolve my case, with monthly billing for services that were unclear. There were extended periods with no communication from the office. I was fighting for retirement accounts that, based on my understanding of California law, should be considered community property and divided equally in a long-term marriage. In mid-February 2024, I received a $3,000 invoice from the office. When I sought clarification and requested a call with Julianne, I was instead sent an email stating: "Unfortunately, we cannot begin working on responding to this until you have replenished your trust account in the amount of $3,000.00. Please be sure to speak to Diana, our billing specialist, at your earliest convenience. Once you have deposited the necessary amount, we will be in contact with you to ascertain the triable issues in your case in order to respond accordingly." My interaction with Diana from the billing department was particularly disheartening, as she was rude and unprofessional. Despite my concerns, I replenished the trust account, as the first status conference was scheduled for March 2024. However, I had no clear understanding of the purpose of the conference, and no explanation was provided. Furthermore, I was informed that Julianne would be on vacation and unavailable to attend Daniel her associate attended in her place. By late May 2024, after incurring $12,000 in legal fees, I found myself unable to continue paying Julianne for her services. I felt completely overwhelmed and taken advantage of, having to navigate my court case independently without prior knowledge of divorce, custody, or the associated legal complexities. While I recognize that legal matters can be intricate, the lack of professionalism, communication, and commitment I experienced only exacerbated an already stressful situation. I cannot recommend the Law Office of Julianne Vandergrift to others undergoing a divorce unless significant improvements are made in their services.

He is expensive, but you absolutely get what you pay for. The hardest thing is bedside manner. He's not gentle, he's not nice, he'll call you out straight to your face. She assured me it would be okay. I rushed home while on the call and around 4:30 I asked Ms Allen if I could send her the papers. She said it was too late, but then continued to say she needed to see the papers before she could answer a specific question I had. I said again I could send it to her right now, since I rushed home for this exact purpose. She said we were already at the 45 minute mark and now was the time to say if I wanted to work with them or not. I was very disaapointed with the call and feel really ripped off. She didn't help me in any way besides telling me I didn't have a chance. She charged me $200 and didn't even review my papers. If it wasn't possible, the recepistionist should have told me to reschedule it. I would have rathered that than waste my money on something I got no value from. She was not kind or helpful, can't imagine hiring her to represent me and think about my best interests in court. I had better consults from a free lawyer and even one that just charged $40. She was rude and pushy too. No thanks.
