Cajun seasoning is sooo good. We love their boneless and bone in wings. Perfect for a rainy day.

Great time of her for Octoberfest! They serve great specials daily. I love their pierogies. My husband always gets their fish and chips; he loves it. My son got chicken tenders and fries. They also serve a great meatloaf here! They were super busy on Friday night when we went. Good came out quick. Our cups were full. Service was good. Love all their seasonal decor as well. Can't wait to go bank!

Great spot and great food and burgers. It does get very crowded however. Weekdays are probably the best

Excellent Tavern!! My wife and I went at dinner service and we were seated next to live music. The band was great and the volume was not too loud. It was a great experience we had an attentive server and the food was delicious. We were very impressed by the burger salad, the garlic parm wings and the chili!! The artichoke dip was not bad either but was more average. This was such a great experience! 5/5 reccomend!

Dry rub Smokey Mesquite wings, at The Yarde Tavern in Enfield, CT.

1st Timers to The Yarde Tavern in Enfield this afternoon. We started off with ten of the dry rub Smokey Mesquite wings -- excellent wings, some of the best we've ever had anywhere. Meaty. For our meals, my wife ordered the Chicken Milanese, and I went with the Fish n' Chips. HUGE portions. I felt her meal was slightly better than mine, but both were still stellar. Everything really hit the spot, we were very satisfied, and left with full tummies. Total (before tax), with drinks, was only $86. We felt that was very reasonable for the outstanding meals we had received. All in all, a great experience at Yarde Tavern this afternoon, we'd certainly come back again when in the area. An Easy 5 Star review.

Great experience today at The Yarde Tavern. Really enjoyed the Big E menu, the pierogies, pulled pork sundae, and the fried Oreos...great fair food without the crowds! Plus Rohn really enjoyed his water dish, burger, and chicken tenders! The staff was very attentive and showed lots of love to our big boy! Thank you for a great experience today!

We tried it here for lunch recently. The ambience was nice. There was a very large bar and lots of dining room seating. We ordered a tuna melt and a mediterranean panini wrap with chicken. Both were very good and so were the fries. They had a big menu with lots of other things we would try so we will be back when in the area.

We visited the Yarde Tavern after exploring the New England Air Museum, and were immediately greeted by Blues Brothers statues at the entrance, setting the tone for the fun and casual atmosphere of the restaurant. We opted to sit outside on the deck, which was comfortable but could get warm with the clear paneled roof on hotter days. The servers were friendly and attentive, and our food arrived promptly. I ordered an Allagash White beer, but was disappointed to find that it tasted old and was nearly turning, despite it being the start of summer. For starters, we tried the chicken parm eggrolls, which were perfectly cooked and seasoned, served with a delicious homemade marinara sauce. I then had the lobster roll, which was tender and a great summer dish, accompanied by crispy, salty fries and coleslaw. My only wish was for a side of melted butter for dipping. My partner ordered the pastrami reuben, which featured well-cooked and flavorful pastrami. However, they weren't a fan of the finely minced sauerkraut, which made a bit of a mess. All in all we would go back if were in the area again but probably change up a few items.

This is a hidden gem! I can't speak enough about their mozzarella moons. I always get the chicken parmigiana (Yarde Parm) and it NEVER disappoints. Found this place over a year ago and it is DEFINITELY worth the value. Fresh ingredients. The server ensured there wasn't certain ingredients in the food that I'm allergic too. Definitely worth going to. The music is also very nice. It's a nice atmosphere.

Ate a bunch of appetizers and had a drink delicious. This was our first time here. Took us over an hour to get here, but it's only worth it.

Came with no rez on Mother's day. Hostess let us know it would be 45 min. They had us seated in 20. Melt in your mouth pastrami, fresh fried whole bellies, summer cocktails. Yes please.

Solidly decent food, ample portions but lackluster execution. This place was on our list to try because of the reviews and the interesting wings. I happened to need to meet up with an old boss of mine, so we decided to give this place a try. Coming in, looks like a pretty big dive bar. dark, old, and a couple of blues brothers guys towards the front. Inside looks a lot like the outside, lots of dark wood and a pretty extensive bar with a small stage in the corner with a solo artist playing. We take a seat and order some wings. I ordered a kids fish and chips, while the girlfriend got the special scallop salad and the boss got a rodeo cheeseburger. We don't wait long, food comes out and we dig in. Overall, not bad. Everything was a little greasy. Wings were cooked well but lacking flavor. the dressings were good though, could tell they made them in house because of the amount of seasoning used. Pretty tasty, but the wings themselves were lacking. Same with the salad and the fish n chips. Fries were generic bagged, the fish was fresh and battered well, but it wasn't seasoned and very greasy. needed to be drained a little more and hit with a little salt. The salad was very one-note: Sweet. It tasted just like sugar with no reprieve. The scallops were cooked well though. Seasoned and seared well, the best bite. The burger was okay, at least according to the boss. very big, but needed salt. Overall, the food isn't stellar but the portions are large. you won't go home hungry, but it won't be tasty. Good if you need a pint and need to fill the belly

We love the Yarde. Food is always good. It's loud in the dining room but it is a Tavern.

The service was wonderful and attentive - all with a smile. Special shout out to Bramwell for going above and beyond. The colonial era home and quintessential New England village were the icing on the BBQ. We're not from the area, but when we are back this way, we are stopping in again for sure.

"And there's fire on the mountain Lightening in the air…read moreGold in them hills and it's waiting for me there" (Marshall Tucker Band) Fire On the Mountain has one of the most unique menus I've ever encountered. Seriously, where else have you ever seen breakfast quesadillas, catfish and grits, cheesecake cornbread waffles, smoked brisket hash, deep fried pork ribs, catfish, mushroom, and alligator tacos, and a Puerto Rican Rice Bowl all happily living in the same menu's neighborhood? And then, the icing on the cake was our server - a charismatic and uber-friendly gent named Bromwell who lights up the room with his personality. He made my list of the five greatest servers I interacted with this year. The restaurant's location is as unusual as its menu. You'll find it occupying the front space at the Suffield Commons Senior Living Apartments! Yup, as you walk through the restaurant and out their back door, you actually enter a common space for the housing complex. The restaurant itself has two dining rooms with booths, tables, and chairs and a bar with dining room chairs. That eclectic menu is chock full of breakfast, lunch, and dinner choices with Mexican and barbecue flairs. We were there for lunch and ordered two things. The first was an enormous Cheese Quesadilla ($9.35) with pork ($3.12) on a grilled flour tortilla served with sour cream and pico. It was a thing of beauty, cut into five thick wedges loaded with smoked pork. Our second item was a Caesar Salad (Half size for $6.23) with a side of smoked brisket ($9.36). I passed on the croutons and Caesar dressing in lieu of barbecue sauce as my dressing. I gotta tell you, the brisket was GREAT, a big serving of tender and juicy smoked beef cut into four slabs that must have totaled close to a half pound. We loved everything about Fire On the Mountain and agreed that we need to return for a proper breakfast when we are out that way or making a morning airport run. PRO TIP The restrooms are located in the housing complex's common space I described earlier/ Just exit the restaurant by the door in the rear dining room, and you're just about there.

The place was packed when I got there, lots of locals all enjoying their company and their dishes. Got a seat at the counter right away, grabbed a menu and checked through their offerings. Decided on French toast with real maple syrup and biscuits and gravy. Food came out quick especially with the crowd. Everything was cooked, the French toast was okay. Not soaked enough, toasted with butter but not a lot of cinnamon in the dredge. Not great, but very functional. The biscuits and gravy were very much a northern take on the southern classic. Grands biscuits grilled on the flat top with grey goopy gravy on top. Very lackluster. The staff was very friendly, and the price was very cheap. Even with the golden delicious branded syrup upcharge the bill was only 12 dollars. Which is very affordable given the quality was not so great. As a generic diner, it does basic dishes well enough. There's not a ton of breakfast spots around, so it does well as that local greasy spoon. Doesn't need to be fancy, cause it's one of the few places in town and they are serviceable. I wouldn't drop by on my travels, but if you need cheap eats then this place will fit the bill
