I've stopped here multiple times over my work trips. The service is great, friendly and fast whether ordering online or in person. Atmosphere is cozy and inviting whether by yourself or with others. Some of my favorite food items are the deviled egg toast, Cronut, strawberry danish as well as a loaf of fresh bread. Perfect stop when heading to or from the airport!

Food is amazing, service prompt but attitudes can be more friendlier. Clean and really cute inside. It's really busy on Sundays I dont recommend going on a Sunday. Because they're busy it seems like the food is rushed out and the quality goes down. Now I thoroughly enjoy this restaurant it's one of my favorite places to eat at. But it's really busy and I hate that it messes up the quality of the food and what I mean quality is like burnt eggs over cooked steak and not so friendly presence. Other than that I highly recommend.

I enjoy Doro. I've only gone a handful of times but never left disappointment. Everything always tastes incredible and full of flavor. Even got it for take out delivered to my work and it still holds its quality. I absolutely love their breakfast potatoes as they are perfectly crisp on the outside and so soft and fluffy on the inside, with great seasoning! Even the toast is perfectly warm and crisped with some butter. Such a simple dish (two eggs over potatoes and toast) makes me feel like I am eating at a much more elevated establishment. My tiramisu latte came with a thick creamy foam that balanced the drink and my fiancés strawberry boba was light in flavor. We would both come back again for breakfast and to try some of their pastries on display!

What a cool spot near the airport. Great food I wish I was hungrier. Everything looked so good it was hard to choose. Service was friendly no matter who. Great to-go selection as well. I'll be back!

Great experience overall. The customer service was exceptional, and the atmosphere felt both cozy and spotless. My food was delicious, and the coffee--clearly made with a high-quality espresso machine--was outstanding and worth the investment. I ordered a sugar-free latte with a substitution, and it was still perfectly sweet. My only critique is that, for the price, the coffee could have been slightly larger. The prices are reasonable. My husband and I love the location as well.

I was blown away by Doro Marketplace!! The atmosphere was super clean and fancy! I love black coffee and can quickly tell good coffee and they have amazing coffee hear! I still think about that cup of coffee! The location is perfect and if BDL is using 15/33 you can view departures and arrivals outside! The food was so delicious and this will be my go to spot when I am in the area!!

This was a really great brunch before heading to our flight. It's next to the airport and the food comes out at a descent pace! You can also get some ready stuff that expedites how quick you can get through the line! I would recommend ordering ahead if you are in a big rush though because the line can get long and finding a table can be tough on Sunday morning

Lots of positives, the location, space, ambiance, friendly staff. I ordered avocado toast, added Egg white & sausage for $1.5 each, & the food is 5 star delicious, healthy & reasonably priced. They did make the egg white brown like I asked too, thank you! I did find a hair in it which I decided to ignore. I wonder if anyone is wearing hair nest? Most of them seem to sport a long hair style. Hair nest would be a plus when handling food especially with long hairs. The part I dislike the most is that the place is among the new trend of Fast Casual dining. You pay at the counter & take a number like you'd do at chick filet , but it does tip suggestions 15% & up when paying. It makes me uncomfortable to select "no tip" under the staff's nose, will he/she spit into my food? I am sure not, but the thought itself is enough to ruin a perfect breakfast experience. Since you don't do sit down orders at the table, Maybe you can at least make the tip suggestion start lower, 5% or 10% like Hot Table panini place does? In the end, I did tip some cash but I don't always have loose cash with me.

Dont judge, I will probably get more before I leave!

Had to drop folks at the airport and then wait 30 minutes for them to open.100% worth it! This visit is the reason I volunteered to drive to the airport at 5:30am!! Best coffee and egg sandwich to start the day, and take away pastries to get me through the day. Everything is freshly made, why would you go for pre-made microwaved stuff? Why do you you hate yourself? Nourish to flourish, I see you!

I was near Hartford for the night and looking for a healthy dinner and Doro came up in the search so I placed an online order. i got the hummus toast and a side of sweet potatoes and brussels sprouts. The hummus toast was a decent size and had cucumbers and tomatoes on top. the bread and veggies on top were decent but the hummus was average. the sweet potatoes were good and cooked well as were the brussels sprouts which were cooked and flavored well. i also got a chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookie and both were excellent!

Doro's staff is super friendly and always welcoming. Their bakery is amazing and always tastes fresh. We also tried the lox bagel. We would definitely get it again. Thank you, Doro.

Good coffee and quick bites, higher priced but good quality Doro is one of those places that works great for a meeting spot before going to Bradley to catch a plane. It's easy to get to, plenty of parking and adjacent parking. Close to the bowling alley and lots of sweet treats and some healthy food options. It's a little pricy, but the quality of everything is usually pretty good to great. You order, get a placard, and unless it's already made it gets sent to your table. I've had many items from them over the months, and I enjoy their coffee. The rotisserie chicken is usually pretty good, and their sandwiches are a little better than Panera. Never was a fan of their cookies, always too crunchy. Need to be warmed up to soften. But it's a nice place, relatively clean and plenty of seating. It's great for a meeting spot and a quick bite

Stopped by Doro for the first time a few weeks ago on the way home. We were looking for something quick and convenient, and my wife suggested we give it a try. My first impression? It's like a more upscale Panera Bread. The space has a clean, modern vibe with a nice parking lot, good lighting, and a well-kept interior--everything seemed very clean. The staff was super friendly and professional, even though we arrived close to closing time. It was clear they were committed to providing good service. As for the food, it felt a little on the pricier side for what it is, but you get what you pay for. The quality was definitely above average. It's a solid spot if you're craving something fresh and quick. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area and need a light, satisfying meal. If you're headed to or from the airport, it's a great option that won't disappoint!

It's a painting, an arts and craft, a bakery, and a coffee shop. Great place for friends to get together and spend quality time, with great refreshment. This last attempt, there was a bunch of staff around so I got the full experience. The staff were very friendly and informative. They explained the pottery painting side of things to anyone painting a piece. They had a wealth of knowledge in that regard, explaining how to get the best results for each medium. I wasn't here for the pottery, I was here for the food. So they sat at a 4 top and let me go up to the cafe to order. The menu is basic, egg sandwiches, avocado toast, French toast, coffees and lattes. Some fresh baked pastries available but mostly simple dishes. I opted for their French toast latte and an egg sandwiches with bacon. Also got a cinnamon roll that was baked that morning. Food came out after a few minutes. Not speedy but not slow. Took some pics and dug in. There's a fundamental rule that I follow when reviewing. "The flavors on the description need to match the flavors of the dish." There's sandwich did this exemplary. The garlic aoli had a strong but slightly acidic bite to it, which helped the arugula's bitterness. The egg was fluffy, the tomato grilled and salted, and the bacon perfectly crispy. The soft home made bread was almost too soft, compressing down to nothing after each bite. If anything, the bread could've been grilled to give it a bit more structure. But besides that gripe, it's one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had. The latte, that's what took the star off. The coffee is giv beans, so a good quality product. The problem was it was extremely, overbearingly bitter. With a French toast latte, you'd expect the sweet to counteract the bitter. But nope, the sweet came from the cold foam and the concentrated coffee at the base led to straight sips of cringingly bitter coffee. After mixing the cold foam into the coffee, it became more bearable. But the damage was done by that point, and my pallet was shot. Had to dump most of the coffee. Overall, it's a neat place to go to. It's rare to have activities along with good food, and the staff there make the experience great. Not too much a fan of the specialty coffee, but the food is well worth the price. A solid food choice for Main Street.

It's a good bakery, stuff is always fresh and the flavors in each of their cupcakes, muffins, breads, and other misc bakery items is present and forward. They know that they are good, and charge accordingly. Given that there's no direct competition in a 10 mile radius (and I would argue even past that 10 mile radius the pickings are slim) the price is justifiable for the quality you get. As someone who treks a lot around the state, I find that there are many bakeries that do similar if not better items for comparable if not lower prices. But to ask someone to drive 30-60 minutes just to get something a couple bucks cheaper that's tastes about the same? It's a hard sale. I will say that Luanne's is the best in that area of the state, not including the small boutique places that are well off the beaten path. I still come here for the view and ambiance, but I don't order much of their food.

"I walked in, the baker said everything was sold I found out…read moreshe saved me some sweet jelly roll Yes, the baker shop boogie" (Willie Nix) Since we're friends, let me ask you a personal question--so tell me this: what's your official dessert policy? Are you a "dessert is a human right" kind of person who enjoys something sweet every night after dinner? Do you ceremoniously pair your evening coffee with a treat like it's a sacred ritual? Or are you more of a free range snacker who grazes on cookies and pastries whenever the mood strikes? At our place, we've somehow drifted into the habit of having a bakery item most nights. Could be a cookie. Could be a pastry. Could be a slice of something. All this brings me to yesterday's visit to the Hartford Baking Company in South Windsor, where we are now pretty well stocked for a week's worth of upcoming desserts, and maybe a breakfast or two. They have four locations in the Greater Hartford area, all selling the same amazing product line of bread, ciabatta, and rolls. But for the sweet tooth fiends out there, well get psyched for their scones, muffins, Walnut Coffee Cake, Financiers (a French almond cookie), brownies and bars, cookies, biscotti, shortbreads, Danish, Cinnamon buns, Pecan-Walnut Sticky Buns, Brioche Pastries, fruit tarts, and quiches. We were running errands in South Windsor yesterday, popped into Hartford Baking, and walked out with a bounty of wonderful looking goodies- brownies, a croissant, a chocolate banana muffin, a rectangular Financier, and a slice of coffee cake. We should be set for a while in the dessert department. I had the Financier last night, and never having heard of the word before, I consulted the old Google machine for some research and found a very cool origin-story. In the late 1800's there was a pastry shop located near the Paris Stock Exchange. The shop sold very popular small almond cakes that were baked in small rectangular molds resembling gold bars. They were a hit with the busy bankers who frequented his shop. The name "financier" stuck because of both the clientele and the gold bar shape. I have to tell ya, that Financier was amazing. It was dense and delicious and overflowing with almond flavor. I loved it. I also had a teense of the Banana Muffin this morning, and it was excellent as well. Loved that banana flavor and those chocolate chips. OK, so file away "Hartford Bakery" on your short list of "must visit" dessert destinations, because I assure you that you'll walk out a satisfied customer.

And to make things even better was the generous spacing between the tables, so you never get the feeling that you're crammed in next to another party who might overhear your deepest darkest self-incriminating statements. We stopped in for late morning coffee and pastries, and learned their coffee is a special kind of coffee. Their coffee is "shade-grown" meaning the beans are allowed to ripen more slowly to enhance the flavor. We ordered an Americano (2 oz. Espresso, 6 oz. Water for $3.50), a drip coffee, a Cinnamon Bun ($4.50), and a Spinach Feta Danish. I had the Americano and the Danish and they were both very good. I never heard of "shade grown" coffee before, but I was impressed with the flavor profile. And that Spinach Feta Danish was fantastic. Congamond has a big food and drink menu with coffees, lattes, chais, smoothies, and hot chocolate, breakfast, lunch, and snack selections. The only less than stellar component of our experience was customer service. Yes, our orders were taken and announced promptly, but there was no hint of friendliness, courtesy, or customer engagement at all. Perfunctory kind of says it best.
