Grilled pork chops with hashbrown casserole was very good. Burgers great. Service quick and friendly. Ask for recommendations or daily specials.

Not the worst plate of food, but could win an "Unspectacular" award. Chicken was passable, greens almost passable, fries undercooked and unseasoned, and cornbread dry. Remember when "home cooking" meant it was going to be good?

Amazing food! Definitely worth checking out this cafe if you find yourself in the area. We sat outside with our two dogs. I had the fried green tomatoes which were excellent and chicken strips which were fried perfectly and had a homemade honey mustard dipping sauce which was divine. The sides that I recommend are the squash casserole and the collard greens. And of course I had to order a slice of Buttermilk pie. Southern Living was right because It was the best pie I've ever had in my life! I decided to order a whole pie and take it home for Thanksgiving and my family raves about it.

Thought I'd try this place seeming that it was busy. I ordered unsweetened tea but they gave me sweet tea I ordered the chopped steak which is basically Salisbury steak. I picked Mac n cheese and green beans as my sides. The chopped steak was tender and flavorful. The green beans were also great with a buttery flavor and perfect texture. As busy as this place is I assumed their Mac n Cheese would be awesome, but to my disappointment it lacked flavor and was dry I have to that the staff is absolutely awesome!!! I'll try them again but next time I think I'll get just a burger you can't beat the hospitality that's for

Delicious food - fried fish for me and pork chop for my boo! Couldn't stop raving about the food and cute little town...

Food and southern hospitality was spot on. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant!! Look forward to our return!

Get the Buttermilk Custard Pie. If you leave without trying this it's like missing out on one of the Top 1,000 places to visit before you die. Friendly, comfortable atmosphere.

Half way between Atlanta and Augusta and never disappoints. Good food and service. Check out the old jailhouse across the street too.

Your hours state until 9:00 PM on Saturdays. How disappointing that it isn't 8:30 PM and you are closed. Smh.

We didn't want or wait for anything! The decor inside was modern yet still cozy, perfect blend of home vibe with some modern touches. The outside still has that small time feel. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! I had the steak biscuit and I'm telling you this (definitely homemade) biscuit (so much yum) was the size of my plate as was the chicken fried steak! I ordered a side of sausage gravy to dip it in which I definitely recommend. The gravy was so delicious! My dining companion got the biscuits and gravy (tasting their gravy is what made me want my own side of it). We also ordered an appetizer of the cheese balls with marinara which was a hit as well. We also ordered some meals to go since we were dropping off food. I didn't get to try those but I did get a bite of the fried green tomatoes appetizer. These are the best I've had in so long, if ever! They know what they are doing and they do it right! This is the place for good southern cookin'

There were plenty other options in both the special and cooked-to -order menu, I just don't remember them all. There were about 8-10 yummy sides to choose from. I had meat-loaf with brown gravy (could have been ketchup), collard greens, mashed potatoes with brown gravy and cornbread. I enjoyed it all. My companion had a fried pork-chop and it looked delicious. He seemed very pleased. It's a small old building that's kinda out of the way. It doesn't look like much from the road. If you happened to be driving on its back road you could easily miss it if you weren't looking for it. Found with Apple Maps. It was counter service. Small dining room. It was clean as far as I could tell. Single bathroom was old but well maintained. They had several takeout orders while I was there at late lunch time. The dining room was pretty full with three groups including mine. My only criticism was the fountain drinks were very limited. There were no diet sodas. There was unsweet tea available though.

It's nothing fancy, the cafe is in what looks like a redone modular home. You order your meat and two sides at the counter and get your own drinks. The iced tea was good. There are two long tables in the center so you eat family style but on the Sunday afternoon we went we were the only ones at one of the tables. They were doing a brisk takeout business. The lady who waited on us was very nice. My DD got the grilled pork chop, black eyed peas and macaroni and cheese with a hoe cake. I had pulled turkey with dressing and turkey gravy, sweet potato casserole and collards with a roll (I should have picked the hoe cake). Everything was fabulous with special accolades to the black eyed peas, the mac & cheese and the collards. There were lots of choices too with everything from fried shrimp to chitterlings and ox tails. If you find yourself in Eatonton and you like a meat and two sides search out Ms. Stellas, you won't be sorry.
