Super CA YUTE place! Back to the Future vibes, we loved our brunch today! Place is super clean, retro decor. Server was great, efficient and friendly. Menu has something for everyone. We had the Fried Green Tomato BLT with a side salad, and the breakfast special. Crisp bacon, tasty home fries, big portions. The sandwich was hearty and I loved the honey mustard dressing for my salad. The coffee is great too! Full flavor,no watery stuff here. Definitely would return. =)

This place had been open less than two weeks when our group of four arrived a little before 11am on a Sunday morning. The wait was short, maybe 10 minutes or so. Let me start by saying the place is adorable! It is homey, welcoming, and comfortable! I opted for the french toast, which is generally served with maple syrup and whipped topping. I opted for some butter, powder sugar and a bit of maple syrup. The french toast was an entire plate-sized portion and very tasty. The bread was thick, a brioche bread perhaps. The only other item that came with my meal was an orange slice. I would have preferred to have a smaller bread slice and perhaps sausage or bacon. I felt my breakfast was not quite complete. That being said, this place is great! It's very popular. The food is good. Highly recommend. Conveniently located in downtown Madison, behind the post office building.

Stopped in early on a Sunday at their temporary pop up spot. Food was good, and staff was friendly.

The food was great, and so was the service. A perfect spot to sit outside and look on the square. Everything was freshly prepared.

The Lavender Blueberrty Moscow Mule is phenomenal! And so was the Spinach Goat Cheese pizza on cauliflower crust. We also wholeheartedly enjoyed the awesome Steakhouse burger and Truffle Fries. Beautiful Setting, Disappointing Service…read more We frequent this restaurant because the venue itself is a great place to spend time. Unfortunately, the food has consistently been mediocre, and today's brunch was no exception. What really prompted this review, though, was the service. At her meal-arrival check-in, I told our server that we were missing a side item, and she acknowledged it. At the end of the meal, after the entrée had been eaten, I again confirmed that the side had never arrived. Since it was too late to receive the item, I asked whether they would consider taking a percentage off the bill. Rather than addressing my request or apologizing for the oversight, the server asked my dining companion whether he would prefer the missing item packaged to go. That was an odd assumption; not only that he should be the one to decide, but that he was necessarily the person paying for the inadequate meal. The bigger issue is that when a customer expresses dissatisfaction, the server should listen, apologize, and, involve management to determine how to make the situation right. At minimum, an apology would have gone a long way; unfortunately, none was offered. With the prices being charged and the food being only so-so, this restaurant really needs to capitalize on what it does have going for it, the beautiful setting. By making the service experience exceptional, a lot of faults could be overlooked. We enjoy coming here and would love to see the restaurant do better.

Stopped by here to pickup breakfast this morning to-go…read more ***Location: Downtown Monroe. There's not unlimited parking on the street but I always manage to find a spot. All spots along the street are 2 hour parking, but way down the street you can park in a small lot behind the salon or at city hall. All parking is free. ***Staff: I would say pretty average. Not overly friendly but not rude. ***Experience: The line was pretty long to get breakfast. I walked in and was going to possibly stay to work there hut didn't see a sign for wifi and it was more restaurant vibes than cafe vibes, but I wasn't sure as I had never been. I checked on my phone and they do have free wifi though, no password needed. I was looking at the tables though and they were all dirty and with the line being long it was a bit noisy. It didn't seem like a great atmosphere to work. On the outside you would think it was a coffee shop but it is really a breakfast/brunch/donut shop. There were some donuts in the case but they were sold out of some flavors. I will have to try one next time, but wasn't looking for anything sweet this time. They look interesting. They kind of look dry on the outside but I will definitely have to test them out to see! ***Food: I ordered an egg and cheese biscuit and side of pimento cheese grits. They don't have egg and cheese biscuit on the menu, only ones with bacon or sausage, so you do get charged for one with meat even if you have it taken off unfortunately. Both were good but not overly amazing. I would definitely eat it again but price-wise it was pretty expensive for what it was. The grits serving was pretty large and at 3$ I think it was worth it. My biscuit however was pretty thin and was 7$. I don't think the biscuit is worth that much even with meat honestly. For me, I could go to Chick-fil-A and get the exact same thing (egg and cheese) for half the price and it would be a lot thicker. So I probably wouldn't come here again for the biscuit but the grits were pretty good! I ended up paying 11$ in total with tax. I am glad when restaurants can leave meat off to make things vegetarian but I do wish they had more options for vegetarians so we don't have to pay extra for meat we aren't eating (or for people who don't eat pork, since the options were just sausage and bacon). But that would really be my only recommendation I guess, food-wise. ***Improvements: I'm expérience was fine but nothing extraordinary. I think the inside could've been cleaner and the staff could've been a bit friendlier. The girl who handed me my Togo order just set it on the table and didn't say anything so it was kind of a weird vibe. I think a few small adjustments and it would've been a 5 star experience :)
