This shop is much more like a highly compressed department store. The items are all very well organized. You can go in and look for just the type of clothing item that you are seeking. Of course, this is a great shop to go into not expecting to find anything. Because for sure, you will find something interesting. Overall, this store has a lot of great stuff. That's the main thing to remember. It's a great place to get that unique piece of clothing and/or other apparel item that can really set your outfit in just the right direction.

If you are into horror and such this is definitely a spot you would like. There are a variety of items to purchase here. Some are more run of the mill mass produced items like candles, purses, slippers, books and such. While other items were clearly thrifted and one of a kind or vintage. Very neat to have that kind of a variety. For example you can get a $20 skill candle or a $400 old operating table. See what I mean? It's definitely a great store to browse around. I easily spent 20 minutes just looking between their three rooms. The reason I did dock one star though is that while it was fun to browse, it's not necessarily my kind of merch. To each their own. Even more so I did find some of the prices to be a little high, maybe it's just me. One example I could give was I found a pretty simple necklace with a bat and heart that I've literally seen a hundred times over at Claire's. That necklace easily is about $7 or so, but here they were selling it for $35. I get they need to make a profit but the quality wasn't there and it was giving child's costume jewelry at a more expensive price. Surely they need to make the rent and knowing that a lot of people who come in are more so "just looking around" it makes sense prices need to be adjusted. A final positive to end on a good note is that the staff are absolutely lovely here. There were multiple staff working which I appreciated. Everyone was very very nice and welcoming. I love their passion for this store and enthusiasm. Nice people work here and I'm glad there is a store like this around for those who can truly appreciate what it has to offer.

Tierra's Treasures embodies what a great thrift shop is all about: interesting finds & bargain prices. While I wasn't looking for anything in particular, I was WOWED the moment I set foot inside, as each section of the shop felt like a perfectly organized little time capsule. From fun holiday items, flatware with quirky stems, well-preserved vintage & antique photos (yes, antique photos) & baby shoes, to an impressive collection of Pillsbury Doughboy kitchen items (who knew he had his own tea kettle?), I was beyond intrigued. None of the clothing & shoes were my size, however, the prices were great...FOUR dollars for a fancy cocktail dress that would then get reduced to $2 because of the day's surprise sale? Say whaaat?!?! The rear wall was dedicated to children's clothing on the left & toys on the right. And then, as I slowly made my way back to the front of the store, I spotted vintage vinyls! To me, record albums are hallmarks of a true secondhand shop & it's been nearly 10 years since I've seen old records in ANY thrift store; this one housed albums from Gladys Knight, Barbra Streisand & the late, great Lena Horne. There were Barbies, enamel pins, Star Wars figurines, a typewriter, a Twilight DVD, etc. A large BB-8 model priced around $8k was also available. There was a friendly staff member there. He greeted us when we entered the store. He answered questions when customers had them. Parking is plenty all around. There were spaces in front of the store and a large parking structure across the street.

He said he's descended from Spanish and Italian, so his last name is Tigere, means Tiger. He's really friendly and chatty about the over 100 countries he's been to, the culture and the conversation spans to rocks of all forms including dinosaurs poops and crocodile teeth. It was very interesting and time flies talking to him. The rocks in the store prices 30,40,50+ bucks but there's no pressure from buying. The store covers old comics to rocks of all forms to small cultural artifacts of all kinds. It's worth spending time there but I felt like without Mr Tiger telling you the stories and explanations, it's a lot less interesting. He said he's there into the nights, so the ideal time to visit is probably late afternoon into the evening.

An abosutely amazing find. The building has a few rooms, gatheting items of all sorts left behind. Each piece has a story that Tiger will surely tell. The hours are a little iffy. If he is open go inside. This is defiently one of my favorite new shops.
