One of my go to spots for vinyl shopping. Great selection of punk, goth, post punk, psychobilly. Prices are reasonable considering their location right in the heart of Melrose. Street metered parking close by. If vinyls are not your thing (but they should be) , you can pick up some great band tees, books, leather jackets and chains. Now what sets this place apart from other stores is the exceptional quality of their merchandise and the owner is amazing. Top notch customer service! PUNK RECORDS ONLY. I happened to stop by here looking for some used LPs. My bad for not reading the description but I didn't know they only carried punk vinyl. They had a few records I knew like The Clash but most were deep cuts from the punk scene. They carry a lot of apparel and posters too. The worker was real friendly and helped me find another store that might have what I was looking for. Also for the pandemic curious they were taking steps to reduce risk. read more

My friends and I unfortunately ended up at some ridiculous record shop down the street prior to coming here. Upon coming here, the gentleman working was so sweet. I described bands that my boyfriend listens to and he helped me find a new vinyl for him. The vinyl chosen was from the band Cat Party (Found them on Spotify later and I'm in love). He then gave me stickers and I felt like an excited idiotic child. All around a good vibe here and I highly recommend it. The best!!! Incredible selection of punk and hardcore records and cds I've ever seen. Also tons of t-shirts, posters, etc. The owner is the best. He gets so excited helping relative novices, like me. Just tell him what you already like and he'll start pulling out recommendations. He never pressures a sale or makes you feel embarrassed for not knowing something. I stopped in with my fiancé earlier this week and had an amazing experience. Originally went in to look at records. I found a Cramps shirt I've been looking for, for a very long time. (Yellow bad music for bad people with the additional artwork on the back). Got a few more things, patches and a ****crass 7" original pressing*****. Not only did I find stuff I've been wanting... I had an amazing customer service experience as well. The guy at the counter who was helping us was so awesome. He is so knowledgeable about music, it made my experience SO MUCH BETTER!!!! The majority of the time when I look for records the person helping me doesn't know anything about what I'm looking for. If I could give a million stars I would. I feel like anyone who leaves a bad review about this place probably isn't very punk rock haha read more

This is like the type of record store high schoolers from Fairfax high go to a lot and get their music from which is cool cause punk isn't dead right? That being said if you want to pick up a punk shirt and you are close by this is the place to do so. They have a HUGE selection and I bought a crass shirt here myself. They have pins and patches but NONE of the 7" I wanted, which is fine cause my main reason for coming in was to get the shirt. If you are a punk beginner then this is a cool place but if you are looking for more obscure or foreign punk try maybe online. The owner of this place is super nice and chill HOWEVER the other guy who is usually there: some bitter dude who always has an attitude problem.. he needs to go. This is a rad record shop that I just discovered yesterday. They have a huge selection of shirts that honestly impressed me. I found a cool GBH shirt that I've never seen in any other record store.
