I'm seriously obsessed with this place. Like- on more than one occasion I've entertained the idea of driving to Hampton Bays from the city every Monday for yoga and kirtan. First things first- Kara, the studio owner, is wonderful. Her energy is so positive, she's welcoming and a talented teacher. She shares a lot of funny anecdotes during practice, but it does not take away from her clear instruction and balanced classes. The space itself is large and airy. There is no dedicated changing/lobby area, which makes the space feel even more intimate. I purchased the month long unlimited package for August. The studio was a short drive from Southampton. I love the studio so much that I try to make it an every day. In addition to traditional yoga classes, they offer lots of other wonderful extras, like reiki, kirtan, lunar classes, beach yoga, etc. I highly recommend these offerings. I really LOVE this studio- it's warm, unpretentious and totally non-competitive and I wish I could gently pick it up and place it next door to my apartment on the Upper East Side. Until then, I'll keep coming back to this studio whenever I'm out east. read more

Wow always a great experience here! You feel so welcomed as soon as you walk in the door. Kara is a superb yoga teacher, her staff is incredible to take a class with. You not only get awesome classes you can also have a fabulous massage or a nice relaxing facial. I have done it all and will continue to treat myself. Best yoga in the Hamptons! Not the most advanced yoga (there's nothing like yoga in NYC) but a very welcoming place. I took Sara's class and she was great! I loved the energy of the class, she led us through a lovely sequence of asana followed by a short meditation. What I loved the most was that the instructor respected my practice as my own and encouraged me to take it as far as I needed. I took off a star because there are not enough classes/variety. I would include a level 2 with more inversions? I'm so happy to have found a great studio in the Hamptons! read more

Great place all around!! Yoga classes are wonderful and taught by some amazing instructors! Classes are frequent and at all times of the day, so finding a time to go is not a problem. It's more like a community than a yoga studio. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. They have so many other wonderful things going on as well, like massage, sauna, facials, too many things to list. I called House of Wellness for the first time today because I work in the area and my back has a nasty knot in it. I called to schedule a quick 30 min massage that I could go to on my lunch break. They couldn't get me in right away (understandably being that this was a last minute call) but they were able to schedule an appointment for me a little later in the afternoon. I ended up calling around just to get an earlier appointment at another place and ended up going elsewhere for the actual massage, so I can't attest to the services of House of Wellness, but I can say that their customer service seems amazing. They were really kind when I called and explained how my back was hurting and they got back to me with an appointment time almost immediately. read more

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. I started off with the yoga class for everyone and immediately had a great feeling. Kara is so sweet and personable and she really made me laugh through the yoga class. I was feeling low that day and after I left I immediately felt uplifted and my body felt stretched out and great. Normally I find yoga classes boring but the time really went by quickly with the amazing music and Kara's amazing style of humor and interactions throughout the class and storytelling! I have since been there twice for the Sauna sessions and man did it help my complexion immensely. The first time I went for 45 minutes and the second time for 60. Now the studio is offering unlimited sauna for $249 a month. Highly recommend for those looking to clear their complexion and rid toxins through sweating. Wow! I took a LOVELY class with Kara today. The pace of the class was amazing and Kara's energy was warm. The studio provides a welcoming feeling and Kara makes you feel like you're at home-not to mention reasonable prices considering the area. I went this morning and going back at 430.
