The 54th season is off to a great start so far! We saw an Iliad for opening night over the weekend and were so impressed with the 90-minute one-man show. So many lines to memorize and so captivating for the entire duration! It's wonderful to see so many favorite actors return this summer too! We have already subscribed and scheduled tickets for the rest of this summer's offerings: Richard II, The Story of My Life, As You Like It, and the Importance of Being Earnest. It's certainly worth the drive to Monmouth for those of us who don't live in the area! read more

This is a great little theater tucked away in a small Maine town. Top notch acting and directing here during the summer season. If you're going to spend 37 bucks for one show opt for the season pass instead and see them all, it's well worth it! Don't forget to check out the merchandise and snack shack outside! Midsummers night dream was a hoot! With a creative, hard working, talented bunch of actors. A little slower with the dialogue would be helpful though. I'm in with the masking, never liked getting a cold, flu, etc. Staff was forgiving when I messed up on my ticket date. And my mother (91) gets a great nights worth of entertainment. We always go to at least two plays a year in Monmouth. This small town in Maine has a very large and beautiful theater called Comstock Hall. The town collaborates to bring in superb talent from 'down south' and supports them in putting on very high quality plays. Plays are classical and often European. There is always one children's play, and they are very creative. TAM always does things to make their classic plays interesting. For example we once saw Taming of the Shrew performed in a Wild West setting. A must do. read more

What a wonderful surprise. Excellent, professional summer theater in Southern Maine. We saw 5 plays in 4 days and all were superbly done. Stoppard, Coward, Shakespeare (Winter's Tale and Midsummer Night's Dream) and an adaptation of "Turn of the Screw". All standouts with a repertory cast. The theater is of an intimate size (and comfortable temperature) in a historic community building (Cumston Hall) that also contains the Monmouth library. read more

This theater is a little jewel tucked away in mid-state Maine. We've been to a number of production over several years and have enjoyed almost all of them. I will say that that last play we saw, Cyrano, was a clunker. read more

Micheivious Elves! Santaland Diaries! What a disappointment! Kept waiting for it to be funny! The theater it's self is very quaint and well kept! The play was just very disappointing! I went with my sister and daughter and they felt the same! 2 1/2 hours we'll never get back! The idea of the play could be quite humorous however it fell flat! read more
