Theory Outlet is my favorite place for work clothes! The sales are always excellent! Prices are 40-60% off retail. Many of the same items at the outlet store are sold for full price online or at regular retail stores. I just purchased two suits for about $500! Extra perk is that I can wear Theory off-the-rack, while my other suits require some sort of alternation. Theory is one of the best quality brands I've ever worn. I wear a particular Theory suit about once a week and it has yet to show any signs of wear! They are quite pricey, but well worth it in my opinion. read more

I was shopping in this store yesterday, normally I shop online. I encountered an employee who should be fired. I hate to be that harsh but he was rude, unhelpful and on top of treating customers poorly, he was rude to other employees. I asked his name and he said "why" excuse me? His name, which he likely made up, was Christiam. I will NEVER shop there again. If this is the staff they have, no thanks. Unprofessional is an understatement. This is a review not for the store (never been) but for the customer service. I've been buying Theory over the phone from this store for a couple years now and the service is awesome! I tell them what I want and they send it to me with a lovely hand written note. They'll even email me pictures of something I'm interested in...now that's service! I like that they have my size and let me know when they have sales. I love the cut and drape (my friend compares it to Prada) which makes me look skinny so I'm a lifelong fan. I have a clear obsession and it's called Theory... My addiction has grown to become an obvious problem, to a point where I lie awake in the middle fo the night thinking of a scheme to get the outlets. You see, I probably would be sort of broke if I bought everything at Theory off the rack retail therefore, my girlfriend and I make it a point do our pilgrimmage to this particular Theory at least once a year. And yes, in the middle of summer. We're really not as stupid as we sound, as it's obviously off season, hence having more selection of inventory on our very sizes, sans the Japanese tourist busses dumping off Harajuku girls who would potentially snag your size. Wait. Harajuku girls don't like Theory. But you get the picture. My gf and I both played hookie & took vacation day from work just for this pilgrimmage and was it ever a successful attempt! Holy mother of god, the cut and simple lines of Theory appareal is really what keeps me coming back. Not to mention the outrageous deals we got here. I hate wearing pant suits... and with us being the LA office it has really gotten much more relaxed around the office where I often see myself in either skirts or dresses. But when I do need to throw on pant suit, you know where I go. I once found the Max C suit at Bloomies and actually paid at least 50% off retail at this outlet for the very same suit. Many of my co-workers call in and order from this outlet and have items sent to them. Another co-worker on the East Coast calls the Theory outlet in Orlando and does the same... I know you could do this at any old boutique, but there seems to be a cult following to do the same because it's pretty hard to find Theory at a discount anywhere and the styles and cut on their items seem to remain consistent so you could trust buying their items w/o really trying them on. If you know which size falls right in place with you, then you're in luck! I scored another pant suit for 75% off retail and there was a $29 dress rack where I picked up a sundress/cocktail dress in gunmetal gray that could be worn either dressed up or down depending on footwear. It retailed for $298! Seriously, a $29 Theory dress is something I've never even phathom. I picked up another one for my other friend who was unable to make the pilgrimmage. Definitely a work place savior, and obsession I can't live without. read more

Rundown - Great Service! - Ask for Edna. :) **i just found out that she no longer works here. :(** - Theory suits are great for petites women - Pricey but are worth it for the fit, cut and quality When I started grad school, I found out that I would be required to wear a suit for a presentation and started to panic since I didn't have a complete set. I knew that I wanted to purchase suit separates and work them into my work wardrobe when I didn't need to wear the set. I read on a few blogs that Theory makes great suits and they fit well on petite women. So I went online and almost passed out when I realized that I would almost spend $1000 on a Jacket, Pants, Skirt and Shirt. I remembered that there was a Theory outlet and decided to take a drive to see if I can find something that would work for me. With some help and advice from Edna, the nice store manager, I kid you not, I found a Jacket, Skirt and Slacks that fit perfectly. If anything, I could use a slight hem in the inseam for the slacks and skirt. I was surprised that I was able to find a suit that fits so well without major custom tailoring. *Victory!!!* I was very happy with my findings and I can't wait for the fall season to come along so I can order another set. read more

This is one of the outlets at Cabazon that is not "cheap." But Theory is not cheap clothing. This is an outlet where you need to dig to find a super-amazing "deal," but where it is incredibly easy to find something you love that has a few bucks knocked off. The big deal of the day was when Allison L. got a pewter-colored velvet blazer for 80 bucks, knocked down from 400. I spent 120 on a purple summer dress that had been 200. Percentage-wise, yeah, good deal. But compared to my flock of 17 dollar sweaters at J. Crew or the 18 dollar dresses at Marciano, come on. But it is a dress that I love. A dress that I would have possibly even bought at full price. In other news --- the store is nice, small, but well-organized. Staff is nice and there was no absurd fitting room wait. read more

My mother and aunt paid a visit to this store and unfortunately had to deal with the most disrespectful sales associate, Annie. They went back to inquire about a discount offered the previous day by a different associate, but Annie not only was unhelpful but was so rude and dismissive to the point that they felt humiliated and had to leave the store. It pains me to see your own mom and aunt be treated that way ever but angers me more that it happened in a retail store. read more

I think people should know by now, that you get what you pay for. This store is easy to shop in, clean, the staff is great. Paul is usually the guy that helps me out. I come out to this store when in the mood for a suit or some great shorts. They have plenty of sizes for guys. On a good day, a guy can find a full suit for $300, which is great compared to the $1100 you can spend at the full retail store. Happy shopping. read more
