I am currently working reduced hours on light duty, and still cannot schedule an evaluation without missing work. God forbid you ever try to come here for an L&I-covered injury--you would be better served just walking away. I have been treated (or attempted to be treated, at least) for three separate injuries at this office over the past three years, and each visit has been sincerely in enjoyable. It may have been the enormous bill I received after visit when my insurance was out of network, or their insistence that I MUST contact my physician, insurance provide, case manager to get treatment protocols and forms that ONLY THEY NEED related to treatment. Their therapists are great, but everything else related to this practice will give you an enormous headache!

But there was plenty that I learned from my road bike and mountain bike fit sessions with Erik. My riding position on my road bike now feels like it did when I was much more limber back in the 90s. After 4 months of riding in my new road bike position, the slight back pain that I had been experiencing is now completely gone. Also, some parts of my pedal stroke that I thought were not fixable such as my left foot rotating in and out during different parts of my pedal stroke were completely resolved with a repositioning of my pedal cleats. Fitting especially with road bikes is as much of an art as it is a science. I originally set my seat height and setback in the early 90s. With age, I've moved my handlebars higher and shortened my stem length. However, in doing so, I learned in my bike fit session with Erik that making the cockpit length too short can actually exacerbate back pain since too short of a reach can cause roundness of the back. Erik lengthened out my back position and it is now flat again. It's quite amazing that without any change in my stem or handlebar, that my riding position now feels SO much more comfortable. I will note that you may need to try out different handlebars, stem lengths & saddles to make your fit perfect. Corpore Sano is stocked like a bike shop with handlebars, stems and saddles to be able to experiment with these variables as part of a bike fit. The only caveat is make sure to schedule early if you need a bike fit or schedule your bike fit during the off-season.

He did not even bother to give his name until I asked. There was no warmth, no effort to connect, and no sign that he had any real interest in the patient in front of him. At times, he simply disappeared, leaving me without supervision. I also brought exercises from my physician, as recommended by my chiropractor. He flipped through them with complete indifference and offered no useful comment at all. I have been a patient at Kaufman since 2012, and I hold the doctors, billing staff, and front office in very high regard. They have earned my respect over the years. This review is about one rehab experience only and should not be taken as a reflection of the rest of the practice. Yes, I had been having multiple issues for years, from early signs of arthritis to Achillies Tendonitis. I couldn't walk for a long time without limping, and getting up from bed in the morning or getting off the car after a long drive was not easy. I won't even say my predicament for climbing a few stairs. Collin is knowledgeable, kind, and caring. He makes each session of PT a pretty enjoyable learning time for me. The location is convenient, the appointment times fit my schedule, and Diane is attentive at the desk. I have received the best therapy ever! They did a very thorough assessment the first session, taking lots of measurements to determine the exact extent of my lack of mobility. For treatment, they used a combination of massage, exercises, and electrical stimulation to get my arm moving and nerves calmed down. They finished each session with a really interesting cold therapy compression treatment called "Game Ready" that helped me leave feeling much less sore. Over the course of the treatment I think I saw almost every therapist there, they are all excellent! The front desk staff is also very friendly, helpful, and detail oriented. They sent me an email with my appointment schedule, and also sent a 24 hour text reminder before each appointment as well, which was helpful.
