I'll be honest, the myofascial release therapy was painful for me and I wanted to tap out many times. But Tamara's energy is so soothing I had complete faith in her and made it through. On my good days with pain meds are usually a 5-6 on a scale from 1-10. After my session with Tamara I was at a 1-2, and felt the best I have in years. After a quick conversation where we covered what I was looking for, she customized the 90 minutes to be the perfect combination of relaxing and therapeutic. I had all my knots and tension worked out without feeling like I had gotten beat up. She also gave the right amount of communication throughout the massage: attentive without being intrusive to the experience. The room itself wasn't mind-blowing, but I couldn't care less when my eyes are closed for 95% of my time spent there. I also liked the fact that she used grapeseed oil for the massage. I use that at home myself--it's amazing for the skin, and far better than the more popular pore-clogging alternatives. I wish I could've bought ten Groupons to see her. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, dim lighting, peaceful music, and even a heated table. By the end, I sincerely felt so much better.
