Don't wear masks or practice social distancing. Sorry a massage is not worth the risk. Disappointing.

I tried Zuri out with one of those packages they sell at a discounted price and it was clear right…read moreoff the bat that they don't like honoring those packages (which the spa has to agree to allow sales for and is supposed to support... so it doesn't make a lot of sense). I hate when people are pretentious or act so "high class" that they look their nose down at customers... I really hate that! That's why spas get a bad rap, I think, and Zuri is a shining example of that level of pretense. I waited for about 20 minutes after my appointment time... and didn't do so in a relaxation room or while enjoying fruit flavored water, instead I waited in their lobby for someone to arrive at the front desk. Annoying. From there I was taken to a room asked to change and immediately walked to a service room (no relaxing, no hot tea, nothing... just straight to my facial( where I endured the worst facial I've ever had followed by the worst massage I've ever had. An esthetician is supposed to ask you about your skin & your need and isn't supposed to make comments that are negative about your skin quality or tone... I'm supposed to feel amazing, not self conscious and unless you're just THAT GOOD (and this visit, she wasn't) you need to ask me about my skin. Extractions, while painful, are an important part of a facial and I had none. It was really just less than OK and that's unacceptable. My massage left even more to be desired. I took control and explained that I just wanted to relax... instead she asked me tons of questions and then talked for the majority of the massage. I HATE THAT! This isn't social hour and I don't want to be friends... I want a massage and I want to relax! I made mention that she was hurting me... and it was like I didn't say anything... I just tried to endure it and still left a good tip, but I really didn't want to. They didn't have tip envelopes and all just stared at me... waiting. That is sooo unprofessional, but I didn't expect much more after an overall bad experience. I had two more services on the package I'd booked, but I'm not going to use them. I would not recommend Zuri and it's too bad... because the alternative... Natural Oasis isn't great either!

They were very thorough on the intake form and reviewing my needs and desires from my services. Both practitioners were well educated and gave effective treatments. The Spa is a beautifully redone older home - it is serene, clean and very well maintained. Highly recommended you leave yourself extra time after your services to simply relax and have water and tea in their lounge room.

Upon check in, I was given a robe and slippers (lockers are provided) and once changed, was taken to a lounging room. There were various kinds of tea, water and a nice selection of nuts to snack on while waiting for the treatments to begin. Massage was with Zoe Greene--she asked all the right questions and we talked about what kind of massage I wanted and it was wonderful and relaxing. The facial was with Kelly Martin. I've had several facials in the past and this was by far one of the best! She explained everything she was doing and what she was putting on my face. My skin felt so good after the facial. Luxury mani/pedi was with Jennafer Rilling. Sweet girl who took her time and shaped my nails that way I liked. Would definitely recommend The Spa at Leiper's Fork!
