We've always found the building supplies to be top notch (and often better than the big-box places). If you're doing any kind of serious construction or want to talk with real pros, this is the place to visit. They can also help out with delivery--which was great when we were drywalling our whole first floor. They brought everything right into the house! They also had a larger range of standard sizes in the drywall, which helped reduce our costs, waste, and finishing time. Terrific service, great products, and solid pricing. What more could you want??

I prefer to do business with someone local, not a nation wide 'chain'. They have been around for…read moreages, but a couple of issues need mentioning; The receipts are hand written, but are hard to read without a clearly list of items especially if you save them to document purchases for specific projects and for future orders. They also don't have your name or business on the form either. Recently they have added the cost credit card companies charge them (3%) passing it discretely along to the customer.
