After arriving and paying a $40 copay , the doctor indicated that my wife's lab results that are highly elevated were nothing to be concerned about and that the pain she was experiencing could be attributed to a UTI. He also indicated that it was the medical assistants fault for the unnecessary appointment and would do nothing to get us a refund because the money doesn't go to him. His lack of professionalism, insight and any semblance of humanity has really soured me on the medical profession. The absolute worst medical experience I've ever witnessed.

Which is completely inappropriate. This time she rudely reminded me twice that I had gone to the wrong department and should have gone to primary care. She made me feel like she dismissed the my issue and just told me something that google could have answered. It's not my issue that the RN scheduled me in OBGYN for a woman related issue, instead of primary care. Dr. Gierut made me feel like my issues didn't matter. Just because a doctor is "higher" up and well known, does not mean they will give you the care you need. i don't just need a diagnosis but I want to feel like I am being heard and she cares about my health. She also kept questioning me and saying how "odd" and "strange" it was that I didn't go to the doctor who performed my biopsy ,last week, about this issue. Once again, not my problem they didn't give me a referral or a call back number. I get it's frustrating that other workers make mistakes but that isn't a patients issue. Ladies, stay safe out there and advocate for yourself.

They called me right away and communicated what was happening in a calm, professional, and kind manner which helped my panic calm down. When I arrived, the ER waiting room was overly packed. People were along the hallway with IV bags getting treated because the rooms/beds were full. Even with a packed ER and other patients yelling and being nasty to the medical staff, the staff all kept their cool and did their jobs in a kind yet professional manner. They gave us top of the line quality care. I watched them sew up my partner's face, wrap his broken bones, and give him tests. All were done with professionalism and care. The doctor attending to him was very communicative and explained everything thoroughly. The nurses were telling us stories and made sure my partner had everything he needed. They also have a parking garage which is helpful. It's a bit of a walk but they have someone with a golf cart giving people rides to and from the parking. Thank you all again!! Parking was a flat rate even though construction is a bit chaotic. I want to thank each and every person who helped me during my stint here. Barbara you are an angel! Praying over me with my mom when i needed it the most was just magic. Having a panic attack and nervous in preop was something unexpected. After you came into my room and just chit chatted with my mom and I , everything lifted. The warmth and energy that radiated throughout me is something I cant describe here , it meant alot. After care here was top notch, from start to finish. 5/5

All through this experience, I was made to feel as though it was my fault, or something natural that happened. Finally, almost two years later, I got help from a third party doctor that easily diagnosed me, and I am finally able to eat without physical or emotional pain. What happened to me, should have never happened. I am usually not one to write reviews, one way or another, however I think it is important in this circumstance.

Dr. Ralph Maeda was my surgeon and I met him as a result of my stay at Mission Hospital. He is a…read morecompassionate, thorough, experienced and knowledgeable surgeon. He takes his time and helps you understand what to expect. My oncologist explained to me that Dr. Maeda was very thorough, and he took the time to remove 29 lymph nodes for testing, when the average is 10 to 12 (my oncologist and surgeon work in completely different groups). Dr. Maeda is not only a skilled surgeon, he is a good man.
