One of the best salads I've ever had

The new location for these guys is absolutely gorgeous with waterfront views and plenty of parking. They always put out a solid product in terms of food and service. This time I had their summer salad which featured chicken, blueberries, fried goat cheese croquettes, mandarin oranges, and red onions on salad greens (if I forgot any ingredients I'm sorry). It came with a blueberry dressing that was absolutely to die for. The salad was incredible and I had half left for dinner that same night. Great vibes and one of the best options for a meal in the area.

The venue is fantastic! Right on the water with a nice breeze. The service was alright albeit a little gruff. It wasn't busy but the bartender was maybe having a bad day. It didn't take away from the experience at all. Just felt a little rough. The nachos were great! The sweet and savory of the tuna, seaweed and the aioli made the dish! I would come back again. Perfect spot for day drinking.

Great location right on the marina with a wonderful atmosphere. The food is very high quality. Portions are just right. I am a bit picky and can honestly say the chipotle wings were some of the best wings I have had. The steak 10oz portion was surprisingly well sized. Potatoes made fresh. Great vibe, great staff. All around a great experience!

Came by to meet up with friends at their new location at the Marina. Dinner portions were large enough that my friends had to take almost half home. We also had some appetizers that's were delicious and great portion. When we arrive the had a live band that had just finished playing and sadly they didn't have background music playing. We tried some great draft beers and left as the kitchen closed at 9pm and it looked like the bar was emptying out. Service was great as usual.

Thank you These Guys for hosting my family's private event last week! My (now) SIL had her rehearsal dinner at These Guys brewery, and everything was delicious and well organized and went very smoothly. First of all I LOVE that this is a female owned business. Secondly all the staff was very attentive and personal- I felt like I was a regular there, and i dont even live in CT. Thirdly they pumped out tons of hot delicious food which was nicely plated & everyone enjoyed. My favorite was the veggie stuffed mushrooms, and i liked the flatbreads and salad too. Last but not least the beer was delicious! I think my fav was Jeanne's dream, an apricot hazy fruit beer, but the strawberry blonde was also a personal favorite. They also have cocktails & wine to cover all their bases. Highly recommend These Guys for a private event and I bet the bar is a great spot any night of the week!

If it wasn't for the exceptional staff and service it would be hard to find any redeeming qualities here. The area: honestly seemed a little run down and sketchy. We couldn't even tell if the brewery was open. Wouldn't want to go there at night. The beer: I understand not every beer can't be treehouse quality but we tried a large variety and still couldn't find one we enjoyed. The food: it was fine. Some in our party weren't happy with how the food tasted. I saw the soup and it looked horrible tbh. The pricing: I could not believe how expensive the dinner options were!! This is a brewery, not fine dining. I'm not afraid to pay up for a great meal but this was true sticker shock, especially based on how average everything was. They do have a nice bar area with a decent bourbon selection so I'll give them that. With so many good breweries in CT, even in this area, I see no reason to visit this one again.

Ask the Community - These Guys Brewing Company

Are there any gluten free food options?

YES -Fries, salads, burgers and other without the buns...

Does this place offer WiFi connection?

    Yes, think so

Do they have vegan options here? I looked at their menu and I'm skeptical.

No, not really. Maybe one or two options, that's it. I am GF and I am limited to salads, pretty much. Go there for beer and cocktails, though.

The inside is super cute while the outside beer garden area has plenty of chairs and tables and a little stage area for the artists to perform. There are flights here if you wanted to try a little bit of different types of beers/ ciders. They also will give you samples before placing your order if you would like. Staff here were nice. I would come back here.

Been a minute since I've had a chance to review a brewery. Honestly not going on as many beer…read moreadventures as I once was, but there are still many out there that call my name to come and check them out with Kidd Squid Brewing being towards the top of that list. My wife and I finally gave them a shot a few weeks ago when we swung through Sag Harbor on our way back from Montauk. Now Kidd Squid kept popping up on social media as one of the more "beautiful" or "pretty" breweries on Long Island, and perhaps I can jive with that as they do lean into the pink realm with some floral notes and a sort of Victorian/vintage vibe in their decor. They're definitely a warm weather spot with most seating being outside, but there's a decent amount of space and on the late Tuesday afternoon we visited there were plenty of places to sit. There were also plenty of suds to sip as their menu had a reasonably nice variety of beers to try. The staff member behind the counter was friendly and gave me a few recommendations for what was going to be my flight of four. Price on that was $14 which these days is fine, though my wife grabbed a lemonade of some brand from the fridge which cost $6...too bad she doesn't drink beer otherwise she could've ordered a half pint for that price! Anyways, my beers were all of a lighter, crispier, semi-hoppy/hazier, supposedly fruitier direction. This worked on this relatively warm summer day especially with the Kidd Pilsner as that's one of their flagship beers and it truly was crispy and felt like something I could've drank all dang day. Next up were the Longfin IPA and Bigfin DIPA which both had just the right amount of bitter kick from their respective hops to be solid brews. The only downer was the No.25 which listed as a mega-fruited ale yet I felt like it really didn't taste like much of anything. Can't win em all. Overall though I'm happy to have finally checked out Kidd Squid Brewing as they definitely have a lot to like here. Sag Harbor is usually quite out of the way for me, but I do know Kidd Squid cans a lot of their beers so perhaps I'll come in contact with them again at my local beverage spot. If not, I'll know that this was a brewery itch that was happily scratched and a place that I'd recommend to other beer fans, especially on a hot LI day.

It's not very local nor particularly convenient to any of my normal routes, but it was a nice stop on the way home recently. They're in the back section of a multi-tenant complex, sharing part of a steel / metal siding "Butler" building with a few others such as a cross-fit place. Decent enough parking, huge indoor space with games, some TV's, a large bar and very nice, newly built restrooms. The beer overall was pretty good. All seemed clean, refreshing, and of sufficient quality, but none of the ones I tried were enticing enough for me to consider any to go. The sour was probably my favorite overall. The water station needs work. It doesn't work all that well / kind of slow, and it's frustrating to find yet another business won't serve water (even when not busy, and apparently even if you're seated at the bar. I get it, that costs time and thus money, but it seems odd to expect people seated at the bar to get up and walk away for a water. If there wasn't any bar seating, it would make more sense to me. We got flatbreads, nachos, Mac and cheese, wings and an order of hush puppies. They left more than half of everything and said it was just ok. I spent $120 between food and drinks.. but the real kicker is *it's not a real restaurant* you go up and order like a Burger King and then you go up and pick up like Burger King but they still want a 20% tip. so I don't know what they want their 20% tip for when no one comes to you, no one checks on you. No one to ask you how it is. they don't care. also, they only sell single serve bottles of soda so there's no refills. We ended up spending like $22 on soda alone. * I noticed on their Facebook that they were complaining that people who were doing cornhole tournaments were bringing outside food and instead of reassessing their situation and what they're serving, they threatened to cancel the cornhole. If you served better food, people would buy it. It's not rocket science. Yours is 5/10 and there's other options out there that are cheaper and better than what you're currently offering. You don't take away the cornhole from people who are giving you any bit of business, you make it better for them.. so they want to buy it and they want to spend money and they want to eat your food. *since my teens aren't old enough to drink, there really isn't much to offer there in the way of food so we won't be coming back because there's no reason to.
