I parked my car and ran in here with my bike and they were extremely friendly and very helpful. They filled my tires for free and sent me on my way. I had to bring my bike in for some maintenance in April 2020 during the coronavirus/covid shutdown. Biketek still offered fast and reliable service, setting me up with a new bottom bracket in just a couple days, despite being short-staffed due to the pandemic. I really appreciate how accommodating they have continued to be during this time. Outdoor activities are one of the only fun things we can do right now, so I'm very glad to have a working bike! Their prices for parts and maintenance seem in line with what I would expect.

They've got so much stuff packed in making so much for the eye to see. Many, many treasures. This is the oldest bicycle shop/museum in the world!! All sorts of fun displays, over 3,500 bikes. When I walked through the door, I was surprised by the volume of bike related merchandise and bikes in for repairs. The owner greeted me right away and helped me with my questions about used and new bike costs to help me pick the right gift amount. He chatted with me about how many new bikes were on back order due to the Pandemic (more than 300!!) and said it would be Spring before a new bike might be available. I was impressed by how big the place is and appreciated the owner taking time to educate me. I look forward to stopping by again.

Dude left two high- end bikes unattended/ unlocked in his driveway, no one answering door or phone…read morewhen I came to pick mine up... When I pointed out it out I got, 'you're in the safest neighborhood in Pittsburgh... and my wife was home." Maybe so, but she didn't answer and wasn't close if someone decided to snag my bike. I even opened the unlocked basement door and yelled. So I guess no bikes ever get stolen in Forest Hills, but I can tell you where to find one. Didn't appreciate the lackadaisical attitude. Got our bikes back to the tune of $500, BFs rear hub was loose, my gears skipped after new drivetrain installed, had to abort first ride after picking it up. Bf ended up tweaking everything rather than taking them back. He didn't bother to call him about the rear hub. BF wanted to try out local bike shop bc they're 5 minutes from my house, but this guy didn't impress me. I'll go back to Kindred.
