We were On a road trip and my son had a slight cough (2 year old). We stopped at a gas station to…read moreget gas, and noticed my son's breathing was labored, so we decided to go to the nearest urgent care. The PA, Rhonda snuck him in right away and only took a few minutes to evaluate him before sending us to the ER. My son was reluctant to participate in any type of prodding or evaluation. Very thankful she was patient and so good with him, and they didn't end up charging us since no treatment was given. I was a little leery when driving up to a grocery store to get care, but they were very professional (the nurse and PA) and I'd absolutely go there again.

This is at least my second visit here in the last year or so. It's easy to get to. It's just inside…read morethe west Ames Hy-Vee. And about 10 steps from their pharmacy. So I was able to be seen for my sinus and ear infection and get my meds without going from one business to another. Clean. Family friendly. Friendly staff. Marcy'sDinerTantrumScale 5/5- NoScreamingKids. I do know over the years that the meds that are prescribed for sinus infections has changed. And I'm willing and able to accept that. The last one I had was completely healed with the same med they ordered today. It's not the same ones Docs used to prescribe, but it's effective. And that's what matters. To use the top line of antibiotics immediately leaves nothing to go to if that infection doesn't clear up. No point in creating superbugs, right?!
