Awesome bagel/breakfast stop in Marquette! Located not near downtown and in a more residential area (maybe closer to campus) is Third Street Bagel. My friend who went to Northern recommended this place so we came here for some bagel sandwiches. The staff was super nice and they have a ton of bagel sandwiches that are vegetarian-friendly! My husband and I both ordered the Santa Fe breakfast sandwich on a jalapeno cheddar bagel. The sandwich consisted of egg, pepperjack cheese, jalapenos and something else I can't remember. It was SO spicy!! We each other their cold brew which was really delicious. The sandwiches are also HUGE so you are defintiely getting your monies worth. We were able to eat outside since we and the dog, and they even brought my dog a biscuit which was so sweet of them. I'd definitely recommend this place! read more

I decided to go out on a limb. Try something new. I got a plain bagel with Nutella and strawberry. It was so disgusting I couldn't even eat it. It was absolutely drenched in Nutella. The service was horrible. Such a long wait and they didn't even get my name right. Hailey sounds nothing like hylie. Very rude when I even mentions that it's not hylie, it's Hailey. I had the Lox Bagel and it was amazing!! We both enjoyed our bagel sandwiches and the smoothies were fantastic with easy to drink wide straws. My fiancé stopped here on a Saturday over 4th of July weekend. The place was busy but for good reason! The bagels were amazing. They were chewy yet crispy in all of the best ways. The flavors were amazing and the options were there. The staff was friendly and appeared to be working very hard. I make the long drive from the Keweenaw to southeast Michigan about 10 times a year, and this place is always my lunch stop on the way. I grab a bagel sandwich & half a dozen bagels to put in the freezer. It's downtown, so a little off my direct route home, but well worth the trip. First, the cashier messed up my order. Ordered a BLT bagel, got a bacon/egg breakfast bagel instead. When I got the wrong sandwich I saw the bacon wasn't strips, it was bits and mostly burnt. Took it back and got the correct order. While the BLT bagel tasted fine and the cashier error that was corrected, I can't overlook the crumbly and burnt bacon the cook chose to put on the first sandwich. read more

Third Street has benefited from the lack of competition from another bagel shop. We ordered two bagels with cream Cheese for take out. They said 20 minutes. We arrived at the drive thru window and they could not find our order. So instead of having us wait and bring it out, the girl had us get back in the drive-thru line and by the time we received our two bagels. It is clear there is no guidance from management on how to quickly remedy mistakes. Food is great, but service is hit or miss. read more

This place is honestly not that great. We ordered 2 bagels with cream cheese which took around 15 mins from order to us and there was only 1 other customer in the store. The bagel itself was flattened so it looked like toast (and tasted like it). The cream cheese was watery and almost a runny consistency....not good. The breakfast bagel was very delicious, but the cost was steep. I would skip the sausage patty next time; It was small, and cost about $3.00 to add to the bagel. Stopping in for lunch after hitting up the farmers market on Saturday, this place was busy!! But their bagel sandwiches totally hit it out of the park for both of us! My boyfriend got some kind of turkey sandwich, and I got one of the veggie options. I had a really hard time choosing between the two veggie sandwiches, but ended up opting for the one with cream cheese on it. I wish Third Street Bagel was near me! We visited to grab a quick breakfast during a vacation in MQT, and I stood at the counter for far too long trying to decide what to get because everything sounded good. I ended up with the sun-dried tomato bagel with plain cream cheese to eat there, and then got a plain bagel and a side of jalapeno cheddar cream cheese for breakfast the next day. I definitely made the right choice because the sun-dried tomato bagel was so, so good. It sounded weird but all the flavors came together perfectly, and the bagel is light and fluffy (I don't like them toasted). The jalapeno cheddar cream cheese was also delicious. I highly recommend everything. My friends got bagel sandwiches that looked really good. We walked in to a shorter line, but throughout our time eating there, the line would grow and shorten, so you likely just test your luck with how busy they are. But it's worth a few minutes wait. read more

Alright so.. my impression of Third St. Bagel is a real 50/50.. the food is great but the staff is rude and possibly forgetful? I ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese and two mochas. There were only about five other customers in the building at the time and it took over a half hour to get the bagels.. something that would take maybe 5 minutes at home. Even after we got the bagels we were still waiting on the drinks. After forty minutes I went back to the cashier and showed her my receipt.. told her I still hadn't gotten my mochas. The staff were all young girls ? Possibly high school? Maybe it was just a lack of kitchen experience. I'm not sure. My only other comment is that all the girls had on sandals.. which I dont know what other restaurant that that is allowed in but pretty unsafe and unsanitary. read more
