Vinsolutions is honestly one of the most poorly designed CRM/desking systems I have ever worked…read morewith. Everything about it feels backwards. Trying to desk a deal in this software is like fighting the program every single step of the way. Why is it impossible to simply adjust the mileage or the residual value without the system forcing me to reload the entire program or change the term and let it auto-manipulate everything? Every competent desking system lets you key in what you need directly. Vinsolutions makes even the most basic adjustments feel like a chore. Whoever designed this workflow clearly never actually worked a real deal at a dealership. Nothing is intuitive, nothing is streamlined, and every part of the process feels like unnecessary friction. I've used multiple CRM and desking tools in my career, and every other system is better. Vinsolutions slows deals down, confuses basic inputs, adds steps that shouldn't exist, and turns what should be a quick adjustment into a full reset of the tool. If you're in automotive retail and value speed, accuracy, and efficiency, stay far away from Vinsolutions. It is genuinely one of the worst-designed tools in the industry.
