The matron waited on the customer (who she knew), finished, drank her water talked and finally turned and I asked about a piece. She told me wood is distressed (it had a chip, and I realize it was just the wood, but the knick looked like the frame had been chipped, so if they had another I wild prefer that). I told her there was one in the window but it had a brown finger smudge on it. She called upstairs and then says to me "is there one by the window". YES, I repeated, but there is a smudge. She cut me off and told the person on the phone. Walked by me to the stairs? To look, came back and said "nope" and turned her back. Nothing else.
