Bambino ravioli comes to our farmers market in Bronxville New York. I look forward every week to…read morebuying from their stand. Not only is the staff extremely fun and lighthearted, but they know their stuff and they have wonderful recommendations. I particularly love all of their specialty raviolis, their Barada raviolis, and some of the best vodka sauce I've ever had. Can't recommend this place enough if you're ever in Deer Park or in the Bronxville farmers market do not miss a stop.

I probably should've read the recent reviews instead of just looking at the amount of stars. I was…read morestarving and had no groceries in my fridge so I decided to give this shop a try. I was starving so anything would taste good - you would think. Based on previous pictures they seemed to give a generous amount of protein (2-3 pieces stacked of chicken in chicken parm pics). I'm not really a sandwich person because I find it quite rare to be wowed by them besides some really good ones on the must eat sandwich list of nyc. I agree with other reviewers that it's odd how there are no prices listed when previously they had the prices written. That does make the cost subject to change but I would hope that is that not the case on a daily basis. I ordered based on the yelp pictures and went with the chicken parm and big mitch. When we got the order. I was like wow these are big. The two sandwiches were a tad over $28. I was honestly surprised a sandwich cost this much but it does help that they are big and hopefully good. Anything is worth the price as long as it's good. I take a bite of the mitch and gave my partner a look. He's like let me guess, chicken is dry? Replied yeah..and no flavor. Maybe add more pesto and put it on both sides of the sandwich? Not sure. My Italian friend owns a shop in the boroughs and makes killer sandwiches. I don't know their secret for success that they always get long lines everyday but I do know you will never get a dry bland chicken. As for the chicken parm, there was only one layer of chicken! Man I was super disappointed. I specifically ordered this for more chicken. I understand why they put less sauce - so it's not soggy but maybe a tad more sauce would be helpful. This was equally dry and soggy. The cheese was really good and helped. I'm a huge supporter of local business, especially mom and pop shops. I think growing up in the boroughs really spoiled me with food choices. If you're hungry and just care about portion, I guess this is a good option around here. Honestly, I just drive back to the boroughs for food. Probably not economical and gas friendly but anything I intake needs to be worth my calories. I workout way too hard to consume food not up to par. This shop looks very clean and welcoming.

If you're looking for a quick, cheap grocery run, this isn't the spot, but for high-quality Italian…read morefood and specialty items, it's easily one of the best around here. The deli counter is massive and the prepared food section is incredible--their rice balls, fresh mozzarella, and the hot catering trays are always on point. The bakery section is also dangerous, everything from the cookies to the fresh bread is always fresh. You can easily walk in here just looking for a loaf of bread and leave spending eighty bucks on stuff you didn't know you needed. The only reason I'm knocking off a star is because the shopping experience itself can be a total headache. If you come here on a weekend morning or anywhere near a holiday, the parking lot is a disaster and the aisles are a contact sport. It gets packed and people just park their carts right in the middle of the walkways. Prices are definitely higher than your standard supermarket too, but the food quality makes it worth the hassle for a weekend treat.

The cake was dry, tasteless and lacked the carrots, raisins, and nuts that you expect in a carrot cake that costs almost $25. In addition the extremely thick icing was disgusting. All in all, the cake was commercial garbage and a waste of money.
