When I did, your assistant responded by rolling her eyes, saying, "We have to take this X-ray because we cannot see through a person to see infection," and then stormed out like a child. Shortly after, you entered and mirrored the same dismissive behavior. You didn't examine the site in question but instead tried to pressure me into the X-ray. You nearly ripped the napkin from my chest and gestured for me to leave. As I exited, your assistant mockingly said, "buh bye." We are no longer each other's concern, but future patients deserve to know how they might be treated. I suggest you stop replying defensively on Yelp and start addressing the underlying issue--your approach to patient care. You're welcome.

After continuing to experience persistent pain, I was later told by the practice manager, Michele, that I did not actually have an infection and that the practice uses the word "infection" so as not to "confuse" patients. I have had nothing but ongoing pain since the dental work. I sought additional opinions and was told there was no infection or abscess, leaving me questioning why the root canal and crown were recommended in the first place. This has been an awful experience and an absolute nightmare. I am now facing the possibility of extraction after spending thousands of dollars on treatment that I believe may have been unnecessary. I would strongly recommend getting an independent second opinion before agreeing to irreversible dental treatment!

The staff is very friendly, Dr Isayev was prompt to review my Xrays, asked questions to understand my needs and has a wonderful disposition. The highlight is Stephanie, the hygienist. She is excellent with a pleasant manner. She cleans by using the tools rather than the hydro irrigation, and I left feeling like my teeth were squeaky clean and smooth. It's been a couple of years since I have had such a thorough cleaning. The cleaning was approximately 30 minutes. The office is located in the same plaza as the 99 restaurant, with plenty of parking. It is clean inside, with a welcoming atmosphere. It was easy to make an appointment via phone, with very little lead time. I'm not sure their contact us link in the website is monitored, so recommend calling instead. The downsides, which I am confident will be addresse -The 2 hour first visit. I was not told it would be this long so would have helped with my planning to know ahead of time. -The most uncomfortable part was the over 30 minutes it took to have the Xrays taken. The tech had a really hard time positioning the film in my mouth and several views need 3 and sometimes 4 tries before she got a good shot. I'm not thrilled with the extra X-ray exposure, but don't plan to have more taken for a few years, unless needed for a specific issue. -A couple of weeks before my appointment I requested information on the various pricing packages, as I am self-pay. The link they gave me was to an EZ Smile package, which indicated $480 for one year, which included Xrays, 2 cleanings, 2 exams and a couple other services. When I got to the office, I learned it was actually $550 for these services. The office staff said they don't offer the EZ Smile. It was quite a difference in price I was not expecting. I was shown a document that said next year, assuming no price increases, the same annual plan would be $440, so they do recognize repeat customer business. Their website has forms for first time patients, so if you want to save a bit of time in checkin, you can print and complete them (and print them) to bring to your visit. I will continue to use Crosspoint Family. I really liked the doctor and hygienist, and should the next visit go smoothly, likely I'll bump up the stars to 5.

I've been going to Mossmann…read moreFamily Dental for a few years, but today I saw him for an issue that I wasn't even sure was dental, and Dr. Mossmann diagnosed me (after several other medical specialists including an ENT and my PCP were unable to do). He is incredibly thoughtful (meaning, he really *thinks* about his patients' issues) and thorough, and does genuinely seem to care about his patients. Plus he and his wife Leah (the hygienist) take care of many animals, including the strays in their neighborhood. Wish I could leave higher than 5-stars; they are the best.

The hygienist seems to really love her work -- she's always prepared, very professional, and always tells me about some new technique or technology she's interested in.. The dentist (her husband) is also a professional: he always comes in to look over the x-rays and compare the history, and genuinely seems concerned. He's filled a cavity for me, and did a very professional job. It's great to have a nice dental office right in town.
